I want to highly recommend Malum Factum to those players looking for a great guild on Yak’s Bend. MF played (and still is playing) incredibly pivotal in bringing together the Tarnished Coast Community. We are astoundingly better off for their efforts and incredibly sorry to see them go.

You know in 24 when the bad guy dies on episode 4 and then you find out there’s an all new bad guy above him!!!! Yeah that’s pretty much SoS. I think they are the Darth Vader of WvW at this point, but who will be the rebels that fight their way to the top and conquere them???? We’ll see…but for now, here’s your update!

These aren’t numbers befitting of “tier 2”…these are numbers when many players start to not show up, at least during this oceanic window/NA early morning timing.
You have to remember that while the holidays are now over, today is the first day back to work for many people. Those that played mornings/afternoons over the last week or so may not be able to any longer.

Last week went really well in Tier 2. TC fared well their first week in the tier. This week, we’re still going strong. Hopefully, next week will be even better when people return from their vacations.

I meant does anyone on your server role play as something else when in WvW? Like that tc commander who posts in pirate talk on this forum. Does he talk like that in team chat/vent/ts/whatever???
Most RP is done in /say. Though in the case of the Pirates, I’m not sure. I’m in EB mostly and I think they’re in one of the BLs.

We’ve been hearing the same things from FA for the two weeks prior. There’s no kitten alliances. We fight, you fight. Little circles on the map change colors. The end.

I don’t see how we won last week due to transfers. Patently false. We gained a lead in the first 8-12 hours, due to people playing long into the night, while one server all but faded into the scenery. We only gained transfers a couple days ago.

As others have said, we have an amazing WvWvW crew and there’s always someone to play with. We accept players seeking to pursue any avenue they choose to enjoy the game. Have fun doing what you want to do!

Please don’t come in here and say that we’re subtly insulting the other servers by saying that you should show up and fight despite the score because that’s what we did last week (and the week before and other times before). We are NOT being insulting at all. We’re being truthful. Every night in that match, we still had queues. They may not have been long ones, but we DID still show up every night.
Please do not make assumptions about our server rolling over. Go back and read last week’s match up thread. You will see that no where did we ever give up or back down. Was there a chance in hell we could have won against those odds? We all know the answer to that is a resounding NO. But we still got out there every night and created fights and had EPIC battles against BG.
Most WvWvWers are sorry, and also upset, that the system is the way it is and servers get discouraged by numbers on a scoreboard. But, once again, they don’t mean players/guilds can’t get out there and have fun going toe-to-toe against their opponents. That’s what our server gets and others have yet to realize. Is it insulting to say so? I can’t make anyone interpret words the way they are meant from my end. That’s on them to either catch my drift and encourage their server to get out there and fight or continue to feel beat down and do nothing.

Fighting at Dreaming Bay so far this morning has been great. DB definitely had the numbers on us but we held them off from breaching the outer. Hour and a half siege … good times!

Indeed. I was up much later than I normally am, playing. I couldn’t stay asleep any longer. Much too excited about this match!
As for the mention of TC stooping to cheating … certainly, by now, people know of our reputation and that this is NOT how we operate. I can assure you that if we know who was responsible, we will report them ourselves.
