After 1500 of playing I have found only 2 keys in the open world. 1 from WvW veteran back in october, and another one 2 weeks ago from krait in kessex hills. Other than that, I had few more keys from map completion/personal story.

I think that the very first armor which had an earring was light human cultural T2. It is possible, at least for humans/norns. I’m not sure how it would look with the rest (especially sylvari and their mushrooms-whatever-ears).

8/10, because I like this armor (and I have it on my thief). The only part I don’t like are the lgihts, orange on the arm, white on the chest and red on the back doesn’t seem to match in my opinion.

People are complaining because of the time limitation. You have to do it within the next few days or it will be gone (forever?). I do support the difficult content in the game but I hate when it’s time limited.

Not that much gold, but satisfaction from killing hundreds of invaders is worth more than money. And with recent update related to champion loot the farming is even better. However, it doesn’t work that well if your server is not good at WvW.

Seriously, why some of the new weapons look even more flashy than legendaries while the rest look like another blue/green thrash loot? I was hoping for some unqiue design/visuals yet we recieved something what looks almost exactly like the weapons we already have.

I voted about 10 times for Evon, and 500~ times for Ellen.

7.5/10 In my opinion she would look better if the armor/hair/flower shared the same colours (or at least have more similar tones to each other).

It’s the new medium armor, it’s called Magitech and you can get it from the gem store.

It reminds me of similar type of event in EVE Online, where players could join one of the two spaceship fleets and defend or destroy the super capital ship. Unfortunately, the game creators wanted the big ship to be destroyed so they send few additonal capital ships to make sure that it will end exactly how they planned, making the defending fleet completely outnumbered and outgunned.

From what I’ve seen here so far I guess that no matter how many people will vote for Kiel, Evon will win by few %. Just like Arena wanted it to happen.

so do you play aggressively and try to survive? O_O

For the first 1-2 min I rarely get any kills, the real game starts when respanws get disabled. Here is some advice I can give you:

1. Don’t run to the front when the game starts, in all this chaos it is easy to end with nothing.
2. Instead, get to the nearest loot behind and try to get at least 3 arrows. Use them only if you are certain that you can kill the target with 1 arrow.
3. Be mobile, always on the move and try to avoid camps unless you really have to.
4. Place traps in places which cannot be avoided, such as gates, bridge etc. If you have fake passiflora, take the real one from the jungle and place the trap in it’s place.
5. Always grab as many ratios as possible, use them when your health drops below 100. Taking all passifloras at the beginning will make at least few players to starve to death.
6. In fights always use cover, and avoid open areas. Headshots takes a while to load and it is easy to dodge it if you can keep the distance.
7. Learn how to dodge karka attacks. With some practice you can grab supplies from camps protected by 1-2 karkas. However, it is very risky and do it only when you have no other options.

In my first 2 games I had no idea what to do and I was ending with 10-20 points. After 4th game I have learned few tricks and now im getting about 40-60 points per game. Sometimes additional 50, if I win.

I don’t think that getting to the top can be even considered as jumping puzzle. You have only 3 jumps (which are painfuly easy) to do, the rest is just automatic transporation with lightning element.

That’s basic shot animation for thieves. Our arrows have a small blue energy spinning around.

I did 1-2 solo in my zerker thief. 0 problems, even killed 62 aetherblades on the second tier. Tier 3 however might be extremely difficult to finish solo as you get spammed by veterans with cc abilities.

Voting for Evon results in cheaper BL keys for the next four weeks. So if you buy gems with real $ you get the best bang for your buck. And if you buy gems with gold, you should convert now.

But in 2 weeks time you will need 5 tickets for single weapon. 50 chests? No thanks, even if the key price was reduced by 50% I would still not consider it worth to buy.

Btw, why are you defending these rng chests so much?

Im pretty sure that in most cases you will need more than 10, making one weapon skin cost over 1k gems. Tell me why a price of e.g. 700 gems wouldn’t be better?

Aetherblade weapon skins have been added to the Black Lion Weapon Specialist. For two weeks only, Aetherblade weapon skins cost only one Black Lion Claim Ticket! After August 5, Aetherblade weapon skins will cost their regular price of 5 Black Lion Claim Tickets. All Aetherblade weapon skins are soulbound on use and can be traded until used.

Really, “only” one ticket? Was it ever more than one? Also, the addition of the ticket scraps might help the players to eventually get the weapon but on the other hand it forces them to buy at least 10 keys (if they’re lucky), what makes the skin cost minimum 900 gems.

I think a lot of players would prefer everything being free, resulting in Anet making no money. But I bet you there would still be complaining!

All I want is a fixed price for the skins (even 700gems), not another rng.

More combinations! Make a troch and focus a main hand weapon, and add scepter as off-hand weapon.

Elementalist with dual torches or guardian with dual focuses would look interesting, and there are tons of possibilities for skills.

Get exotic equipement from WvW vendors. You can buy exotic weapon for 1g and xxx badges. You can also get different armor/weapon skins for 5-100 badges.

It looks fine on my female norn. It also looks normal on my human thief. Maybe it has something to do with the body type?

She was fighting against karka, she sabotaged the consortium dirty contracts to free the refugees, she fought the aetherblades and protected the council. Of course we did more than she did but at least she was there when tyrians needed her. Give me one example where Evon was more helpful than Kiel.

And remember that we don’t know anything about that Charr. Trading with consortium during the southsun crisis? Selling aetherblade armors in his store? What else is he hiding?

Evon runs the black company, he gives you trash in black lion chests, steals your gold everytime you sell something on the trading post and now he wants even more power.

Evon is the boss of the Black Lion Company, he’s responsible for rng in black lion chests + he steals your money everytime you sell something on the trading post. Why would he get our support and recieve even more power?

Thaumanova Reactor is the location of a ruined asuran city in northwest Metrica Province. It was recently destroyed by an Inquest experiment gone awry, occurring beneath the city and the reactor exploding and subsequently releasing chaos magic. Due to the large amount of chaos magic in the area, creatures from across the continent get transported in and out of the area. The Thaumanova Reactor is divided into five main sections: the southwest which has been turned arctic, the southeast which has become poisonous, the northeast and lower area containing the river with an aquatic aspect, the north which contains fire-based creatures, and the central, the location of the explosion. After the explosion, the energy source that the Inquest was experimenting on was moved to the Thaumacore Inquiry Center in Toxal Bog, causing the chaos effect to spread northward. This effects of the underground experiment also affected other areas such as Chaos Crystal Cavern in Iron Marches.

I think what’s interesting about it is the area of this experiment, if recator in Maguuma was able to affect locations in Ascalon then it had to be something big.
