You didn’t tell me how you weren’t bad. We like to zerg, we like to havoc, and we like to small team/duel. But spawn camping the drop point? that takes literally zero skill. Is that fun for hours on end? Really? I guess enjoy the game mode, but this is not what we were hoping for with his new add on to OS.

First time with internet in 2+ weeks, playing on my LTE connection… God I missed wvw, and IOJ bags still taste oh so delicious.

Hey all my homies from MEND. I was talking to good ol’ buddy FLAPPY last night. He said some not so kind things about our old leader and our guild, which I’m fine with. But he also told me a little secret… he said MEND was the best wvw guild on IOJ.

Surely, the greatest wvw guild on IOJ would be down for an open-field even-numbers (some might call it a GvG) with a guild that is not close to being the best gvg guild on FA… ESPECIALLY given the personal history between our servers/guilds etc. However, he would not even consider the proposition. Now you all are blessed with a leader who talks a lot of kitten, and by association, you are affected by it as well. Tell him you want to gvg, it should be an easy fight, right? Or is MEND the greatest wvw guild on IOJ* (* as long as there are choke points, arrow carts, and a numbers advantage)?

Name the time, place, and we’ll be there. Surely the greatest wvw guild on a server has some passing interest in gvg combat. Surely you can field 15 to do this fight. Let’s end the talking once and for all. Realistically our servers won’t see each other again for months at least. Why wonder what always might have been, when instead we can see what is?

Dear DIE, plz consider changing your name to “We Never Show [UP]” because I still haven’t seen you around. I assume you’re all playing on nokia dumb phones that can only access the forums and PCs haven’t made it to your respective countries yet, because I sure haven’t seen you in game yet.

Doesn’t look like my apartment is going to get ttInternet before reset. I wish I didn’t have to move this week so I could have played against so old friends and new enemies more, but alas, a few nights of hotel Internet and laptop keyboard was all I could muster. Luckily our paths cross again in two weeks before leagues are over and we don’t see each other for a long time.

CORE is a zerg busting /zerg guild first and foremost. We’ll militia it up when we are driverless and we roam sometimes too. We spend the majority of our time theorycrafting for when we are playing together in a group of 15-25. No, we don’t claim to be elite roamers, and hell yeah I’m going to ignore your attempt at a 1v1 if I’m in a support guard build. It’s a waste of my time from getting to the group I’m supporting. You guys had the same trash talked about you when IOJ was getting big and we zerged a lot. I didn’t think so many of you would fall so quickly to the xoxo mantra of Lololololol no skill only numbers. There are multiple ways to wvw and we prefer to play in a large group of friends on ts.

Our transition to FA has been rough, we lost a few people and our guild leader within a week of transferring. We struggled for a bit, but Arch, Seeki, myself and a few others stepped up to lead and take control of a guild we loved. We are starting to grow again finally, and getting back to where we were before the transfer. We love the culture of FA where so many people are involved in wvw and on ts. It’s been incredibly fun and we can’t wait for leagues to be over so we can fight more even servers. Best of luck.

If you have better coverage, run a more oraganized server with larger guilds that may have a bit more experience. Enjoy your victories, celebrate with your server mates. Continue to find ways to grow and get better in preparation for possibly being in T1. Don’t oppress the people in a less favorable gaming situation and try to push them down or discourage them.

Mend had 25 on tonight, we fought you without siege several times tonight and wiped , core, ram, cL. Yes we have pugs on us, 90% of them drop on first bomb though so we can say we had 30 with us.

In all seriousness, I couldn’t care less about leagues. I’d rather be in gold getting roflstomped with some good fights peppered in than pvdooring, begging someone to come fight us. I think it’s a pretty terrible system and makes the last system (random with servers usually semi-close rank to you) look fantastic in comparison. Honestly I just wanna get some #magbags and be outnumbered. Winning the league and whatever stupid prizes anet chooses to give out means literally nothing to me.

So take a step back, Jay.7546, and enjoy this for what it is… a video game.

You know I’m sorry but I just can’t get jazzed playing a server like FA or SBI who has a wvw population so large that they can not only cap both their opponents BLs but still run a large zerg in EB and have enough to man towers in their corner.

It’s not an impressive feat of skill or show of ingenious tactics. It’s like watching a tsunami from the shore. Nothing skillful about brute force. I know they have to keep active by map watching and waiting for us to attempt upgrades before they let out zerg #8 of 40 to just cap and run.

Any money I would have spent to buy gold for upgrades and siege is not leaving my pocket now. How were transfers allowed to beef up certain servers and hurt others after leagues were set. I mean, IOJ lost a couple guilds that provided manpower that enabled us to be ranked silver then left before the league started. Not that those guilds were exceptional but they had bodies. Any subtraction from IOJ was an addition to FA. So it was a double hit in the number dept.

Trading deadlines are set in professional sports for a reason. If not, the teams with the best record towards the end of the season would just cherry pick stars for the playoffs. That is basically what happened here. And it has hurt IOJ and other servers I’ve talked to because who wants to play against a blob and just spend good money after bad when all that is happening is those two servers are just getting more and more transfers damaging the rest of the league. Sort of short sighted if you ask me.

TLDR: Nothing that anyone who plays WvW doesn’t already know. I’m sorry we left IoJ, but we did what was best for our guild. You guys are putting up a mad fight however. Don’t sell yourself short.

IOJ schooled FA tonight in keep defense in EB. Frankly, I’m mostly just proud of IOJ. We were disorganized and running multiple tags most of the night. FA is already in the karma train mentality and is getting soft I think. We had the map queued, and IOJ had (I’m guessing) 30 people on the map? Great job IOJ.

FA could be in for some rude awakenings once leagues are over and we’re at a population disadvantage again.

You seem to be forgetting that this is FA’s 8177168th week into leagues and the only server even close to a legitimately equal opponent we met in battle was SBI. You expect us to take every aspect of these match ups seriously? I don’t expect you to understand, but we’ve been frustrated with how little amount of competition we are getting, I am not an offensive commander, I have never been, yet I was in EB last night attacking a keep, what does that say to you? And that little comment about you being there when we fought BG, but not me? PRO has been in FA since the start, and so have I. I’ve been there commanding in FA BL since we were getting smashed by CD, TC, and YB because we just didn’t have the coverage. I was there before the IoJ transfers that gave us the numbers we needed to stay competitive, and I will be there even when the server begins to die, if it ever does. I admit, I was out of my element, doing something I don’t usually do, but at least I tried and learned from it. I do not, however, appreciate tagless CORE members throwing down siege keeping us from building what we need to get built, you were in our TS, we see your names. And I do not appreciate you making assumptions and starting something when you have no prior knowledge about me or my guild. You can come back with a better attitude about things and try to work as a team, or leave the server because if you can’t then it’s clearly not for you.

Wow, lol. This is fun to wake up to. Yes, it’s the 4th week of leagues. SBI hasn’t been the only server to match us in skill, it’s been the only server to match us in coverage. There’s quite a difference there. Having a map queued (and more than one at that) while another server is outmanned does not take skill, that’s a population issue. I’ve been on the other side of those outmanned fights and I’m sure you have too. I was giving props where props where due. My comments in map chat weren’t directed at you, but the map in general. I’m sorry there were other tags up but they were making it very confusing for the militia. I joined your channel because that’s where you guys were deciding to lead from, not in the EB channel.

I was not trying to start anything, solely giving the hopelessly outmanned server some props for holding us off for as long as they did. I also happen to have friends still over there, and was trying to encourage them in a system (leagues) where the odds are completely stacked against them. I wanted that keep flipped, and I put a bounty on it last night. Just found it a little ridiculous that with our numbers the bounty I put out at 10pm or so est went unmet until at least 5am est when I called it a night. Nothing against you, and definitely nothing against PRO. You did a good job all things considered, but please keep an open ear to wombat, he was giving pretty clutch advice throughout that went mostly unheeded.

I love FA and I wouldn’t leave if you paid me. I’ve just seen what happens to a server’s morale when the pvdoor and karma train hits legitimate resistance again. I’ll be happily fighting alongside those who are there after that, and hopefully without the queues.

NSP FNCY thief, I enjoyed our “duel” sorry people from my side kept on intervening. We were almost reunited for a rematch then BOOM 6 BP ruined the fun.

So can we set up a real fight club for 8 pm server time tomorrow night? I’d say FA bl (easy access to the other two servers and we should still have wp’s) but 2 fight clubs there have been zerged down so far. Any ideas? Support/dissent? Leave your zergs and see how you do against one person, it’s a nice change of pace and can makes you realize how much you still don’t know about your class.

Just to set the record straight here, SIC was running 7 people for most of last night. We got up to a whopping group of 10 by 6:15 server time. If you think we had numbers on your group Vis, you are delusional or didn’t graduate kindergarten. I suppose I will take that as a sign of respect since you thought we were enough of a threat to keep a scout on us for our entire raid and show up with a CORE + pug blob whenever we lingered anywhere longer than 30 seconds. We would have probably survived that pinch you pulled out with ATK to help you out if it wouldn’t have been for our nerf friends trolling us with glue bombs and supply crates as we tried to make our way north out of the ruins. Either way good fights, we had fun trying to take on superior numbers, as always.

LOL, I never said anything besides my engie friend beat Chaba in a one on one at full health. I was running us around on Necro instead of guard and then later on our normal driver came on. Never said they were equal of fair fights. I just will always gun for SIC, Alaric said in the first two days on IOJ that we were a garbage guild when he never ran with us or knew what we did. I like a lot of the people in SIC and think they are good players, but if I see SIC on the map you better believe I’m going to drive our full force into them. Alaric will QQ about only having 17 actives and not being able to rally more, but that’s how he decided to fight in wvw. He posts videos of him steamrolling bigger groups, but what he forgets to mention is that they are pug zergs. As soon as a skilled guild group comes up against him with the same numbers he FRAPS for his wubwubwubwubwub pug wipes, he starts crying about not having enough numbers and us having no skill for having #‘s on him. It’s an impossible fight to win with him because he’ll either pick one argument or the other depending on what benefits him at the time. I respect the guy and think he’s a great driver, but he fired shots at us the first time they were fighting along side us. I don’t forget, so I’m ecstatic every time I see the [SIC] tag in red. But yeah, good fights. Let’s see you guys come out again, if you wanna do some even number fights lets set up something for thursday night.

Never heard of a duel being a few people chasing another up to a choke and having stuff on cooldown while someone stays behind to pretend, but whatever, Vis.

Well, let’s just set up a proper fight club for one of the nights this week. However, both of the ones I’ve found have been zerged down within 30 minutes. Maybe by Thursday people won’t care enough to bother wiping people just looking for some good 1v1, 2v2, and 5v5 action.

It was just you two, both at full health on the top of that arch thing where you take golems for the last port to hills (not the bridge, in the camp). They turned 80 last week, and they’ll be glad to fight you again with /bow if it makes you feel better.

Yeah, last night when we would split into guild groups on BP BL, they counter attacked us with a map blob. We don’t really have a choice at that point but to counter blob.

CORE was lucky enough to get 20 on for a bit last night, and that was closer to what we’re used to running in. For the most part we’ve been running with 10-15 outside of reset, but it usually always ends up getting map blobbed at some point.

Also Chaba, you got to kinda duel (no bows, but it was 1v1) our newest engi last night at the vista by redwater where you guys were building omegas. They enjoyed it, even when you went into the water and they had to use their lvl 5 water weapons to finish you.

We killed the grub before servers went down. I can die a happy man now.
