You can find your custom offers in the “My Transactions”-Tab under “Items I’m buying”.
I see… hadn’t noticed them yet.
You can just buy stacks of up to 250 in one action. It’s not a bug, it’s intended to be like that. You can however put up multiple orders of 250 each one after another.
The workaround has as of yet worked for everybody I have talked to about this issue.
To rule out every misunderstanding:
1. Login on the char with which you want to get the karma.
2. Apply every karma boost you want to use (use foods/boosters/banners/karma fires, put on an amulet with karma infusion, activate guild karma boost).
3. Log out at least to the char selection screen.
4. Choose the same character again and log back in.
5. Drink the karma jugs and/or get karma by doing events.
The 2 Dragon Ball achievements don’t count towards the meta achievement.

But I am sure there never ever has been a bug in a computer program, where “sometimes” meant “certain times of day”.
You are sure … then you failed …
[…]
Did you read the whole post and understand it? Ever heard of “irony” or “sarcasm”? Stop the friendly fire, man.
Edit: ok, I think I see, why you didn’t get the sarcasm. That whole post of mine relates to another post by Bright.9160 that obviously has been deleted in the meantime.

When the bug occurred, a lot of people salvaging hundreds or thousands of rares per day showed up here and provided their data summing up to a sample size of several thousands all pointing towards the changed rate. This time they don’t show up here (well except me, but my sample of by now 1000 rares shows no significant change). Whatever that may indicate…
(edited by WaxWorm.8574)
As long as you keep your results a secret it will be difficult to take your suspicion seriously.
What exactly are you talking about?
Someone doesn’t live up to his name here. You DID notice that I wrote “Sometimes I get the impression […]”, which is slightly different from “I am sure […]” or even “I believe […]”?
If you had followed the discussion concerning the ecto salvaging bug that came with the patch of may 28th you would have known that I actually do understand statistics. I always plead for large enough sample sizes to at least be able to make serious assumptions.
And if you had followed this thread thoroughly and had read my post completely, you would have noticed, that I provided the only serious sample size here yet. And that it even leads to the assumption, that there hasn’t been any change this time, be it accidentally or intentional.
And if you had read the patch notes concerning the fix for the ecto salvaging bug, you might have noticed the word “sometimes”.
Fixed a salvaging bug introduced in the last patch that sometimes caused salvage kits to yield incorrect results.
But I am sure there never ever has been a bug in a computer program, where “sometimes” meant “certain times of day”.

Ok, at least in the past 2 hours everything seems to be pretty normal (even slightly above average for me):
Salvaged 600 lvl80 armor with the master’s kit and got 576 ectos out of it averaging at 0.96.
Sometimes I get the impression that in the first hours after the daily reset the rates are significantly lower but I haven’t looked into that seriously enough yet.
From my basic knowledge of browsers, clearing the trading post browser’s cache should fix that problem. Unfortunately I didn’t find a guide on how to exactly do that with the browser “Awesomium” used here. Maybe you will have more luck finding one.
What new armor are you talking about? You mean the steam-punk-like that hasn’t even been officially introduced and might still be subject to change?
[…]
The thing that defined the last ecto salvage bug was that no one was able to get more than 1 ecto from a salvage.
[…]
That is not correct. It had been just a lot rarer to get 2 or 3 ectos but it still happened even during the bug. But the overall rate of ectos had been down from 0.9 to about 0.5.
Right now I don’t have enough data to really make a serious assumption here. But I found it suspicious too the last hours.

No it will not be refunded.
It is possible. You just have to put on the amulet, activate all other wanted karma boosts, go to char selection and relog onto the char. Then drink the karma jugs. It still works as intended if you use that workaround.
Please refer to and continue in this thread:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Possible-Jug-of-liquid-karma-bug
There is a general bug considering karma boosts in every form (booster, buff food, banners, guild boost, infusion) since the patch from may 28th. They only work when already being active when logging on to a char.
And please also submit an ingame bug-report since they didn’t acknowledge this bug yet.

Did you look under “My transactions” / “Items I want to buy”? Maybe it is just an old and pretty low priced buy order of yours that you don’t remember and that just occasionally is met by sellers?
Since the beginning.
Actually they changed the patch notes instead. Now it says:
- The Dragon Bash Mini Pack is now available in the Minis category of the Gem Store for 500 gems. The Dragon Bash Mini Pack contains three exclusive holographic minis to commemorate the Dragon Bash festival. If you place all three minis from the Dragon Bash Mini Pack in the Mystic Forge along with the Mini Holographic Risen Knight (which can be obtained from either Rich Dragon Coffers or Dragon Coffers), you will receive a Mini Holographic Colossus.
- Polla, Biviane’s doll, is now available in the Upgrades category of the Gem Store. This special doll commemorating Cobiah’s sister can be equipped in the accessory slot and is available for free to all players.
Just have a look under “My Transactions”. The TP is pretty laggy at the moment, but normally the items don’t get lost.
Well, the last patch was a week ago and no one else reported anything similar in the meantime or even before. Also I just tried it out and was able to put both a sigil on a weapon and a rune on a piece of armor without any problems.
So either it is a very, very, very rare bug that only you alone experience or you’re doing it the wrong way.
How about providing some screenshots with the item stats or even a video? Maybe we can sort it out that way.
In most cases this happens due to accidentally pressing the enter-key which will send the focus (and blinking cursor) to the chat window. All following keys pressed are going to the chat window then. By either pressing enter again (and sending whatever you typed to the selected chat channel) or by left-clicking somewhere the game window you can bring back the focus to the game.
Did my monthly karma-drinking-contest yesterday. Still the same issue. Had to go to char selection and relog onto the char after activating all the karma-boosts (this time including the 15% guild-boost as well). Before that they didn’t work.
Could someone from ANet please at least acknowledge it so we don’t have to post the same thing over and over again? Would appreciate that…
You know that the weapon has to be at least of the same level that the sigil is?
I already mentioned that workaround in my post 6 days ago. Also you don’t have to exit to desktop. It’s enough to go to the character selection screen and relog back onto the according char. And you don’t have to relog for each buff individually. It’s enough to relog once when all wanted buffs are activated.
And switching characters or maps doesn’t affect the buffs negatively. It’s just that only those buffs are counting, that already were applied before logging onto a character.
(edited by WaxWorm.8574)
I’m sure this is flawed by design and this thread will possibly be moved to the suggestions-forum.
Ok, didn’t notice that
I don’t think they have yet. But there is a workaround. Just relog onto your char after activating all the buffs/boosts.

Sure you didn’t transmute it in the meantime?
[…] but has a ONE IN TEN (1/10 or 10%) chance to drop a Cosmetic Ticket. This means that, mathematically you would need TEN boxes to have a 100% chance to get a cosmetic ticket.
[…]
Mathematically absolutely wrong
But I agree, that there have to be better chances to get some of those skins.
Saw someone mentioning, that clearing the browser cache of the ingame browser “Awesomium” fixed this problem. Hopefully Google will provide you with a guide on how to do that.
I’m sure, this ist just a serious case of normal mapping .
Gotta go looking for “bump”, “parallax” and “displacement”
(edited by WaxWorm.8574)
Yeah… like the karma boosts/buffs-bug
They are two different items. In the german version for example they also have different names. And in all versions, they give 5000 karma (on a lvl80 char) instead of the 4500 karma on a regular jug of karma.
Ah I see… so it’s like walking on water…
Why does everybody believe, that different accounts/characters have different rng-chances? Is that just the human desire to make up some explanation if something is beyond ones understanding? Or is it the attempt to blame karma, destiny, the universe or some random developer for just being unlucky? I will never understand…
“You can find” does not mean “You will find”. And it definitely doesn’t mean “You will find everytime”.
I’m pretty sure, it will be RNG in both chests with the gem-store chest maybe having a slightly increased probability compared to the dropping chest .
(edited by WaxWorm.8574)
Just salvaged a thousand lvl80 rares with the master’s kit:
870 ectos / 1000 rares averaging to 0.87
Had everything from 0 to 3. Everything is absolutely in normal range.
Again: as long as you can’t provide sample sizes of at least a hundred, better some hundred, refrain from assuming any change in any RNG-rate.
With 25564 lines of sold items and 122289 lines of bought items filed under “My Transactions”, I’m pretty sure that I’m using the trading post a lot more often than you
Ok let’s try it the other way round:
Please let us know, why there is no single item to be found in the trading post, that has offers with more than 20 individual prices available at the same time? Coincidence?
Try it out with any item, that has the said 20 individual lines of offers and that has a way higher availability shown in the main list than in the item details. Look at the last and most expensive of those 20 lines and write down the price of that line. Then buy out every item of the first two or three cheapest lines. Refresh the view and again take a look at the last and most expensive lines. As long as there haven’t been new and cheaper offers with the exact same amount of individual prices coming up in the meantime, you will notice that new lines with even more expensive prices have moved up. These are the ones that I am talking about. And in most cases, there are a lot more of those lines invisibly waiting to follow up as soon as the price of an item rises. And on one of that lines there also is your offer waiting to be bought as long as you don’t cancel it.
Oh and the “some page” is using original live data from the trading post. A well known nice and helpful tool by the way. Maybe you should investigate that too, as soon as you stop believing and start knowing.
And if you intend to insult me furthermore, please send me a PM, since as of now I will really start being ignorant. At least concerning this thread.
I would advise you to do that. The more tickets there are with the same subject, the sooner they will take notice of it. And by now they obviously didn’t…
He has been available after the SAB closed… for a whole month now. I think, he is deactivated intentionally and will come back together with the SAB when they have new content ready.
sigh
Obviously you don’t want to understand. I just can tell you how it works. I can’t tell you, what to believe.
Yes, it does. I think you’ll have to restart the game once.
Please refer to possible reason number 2 in the second post…
Buy them and you will see that there are more… it’s not a bug, it’s just an uncomfortable system.
(edited by WaxWorm.8574)
Different day, same old…
You even have a lower profit than shown there. There ist a 5% listing fee AND a 10% sales fee. The “projected profit” only takes the sales fee into account. You will have to substract the listing fee manually.
Could they have made it more obvious? Yes!
Is it a bug? No!
This is AFTER you already had opened the item details and then went back to the listing without doing a fresh search. This is a known but only cosmetic bug.
Just do a fresh search and you will see the whole supply at that point.
Which doesn’t help him, if he wants to sell it…
