For World 1, in zone 2, did you both jump up and down the bouncing mushrooms in the beginning? That was were I got my last one.
For World 2, in zone 1, the checkpoint right before the boss seem to have a really small window for the last feat to appear. You’ll have to walk across the checkpoint and move to the right, don’t jump, into that small corner. Walk back and forth a couple of times if you have to.
The inactive infantile cloud in world 2, zone 3, is not where your last feat is missing. I can confirm because I have both the achievements.

Okay, so I did baby mode again and the inactive cloud, in zone 3, for sure wasn’t needed. I missed the one at zone 1, the checkpoint right before the boss, just had to walk instead of jumping across the checkpoint.
I got this one cloud that don’t trigger in W2 Z3.
I also did baby mode for the achievement and ended up 32/33. I ran it twice without jumping over checkpoints. I think it’s the inactive cloud that is messing it up also.

Okay, so I saw that update patch and didn’t see any information that World 1 Zone 3 Master of Bauble achievement being mentioned. I didn’t want to post before trying it out and I went to World 1 Zone 3 and collected all the baubles and defeated the Toad.
I can confirm that it’s fixed because I just got the achievement and there were 5 baubles above the fallen tree. Even though the 5th bauble was placed somewhere else.
I just did 8 orbs liadri and got the achievement for my first time. I’m still excited.
Just to make sure, you guys did kill her after throwing the 8 orbs right?
Sometimes when you throw the orbs at her it misses because she does her charge strike.
it’s actually very easy. I’ve done it 4man, I’ve done it in the most braindead pug ever, what are you complaining about?
pugs take longer than organized groups = not pugfriendly? are you for real? 2-3 hours?:D
I don’t care how you do fractals. Chanters still need to be fixed, because anet’s patch didn’t work the way they thought it would.
I just wish they would fix this soon, so pug groups (they already take forever to finish in some cases) would come to cliffside and be content knowing that they will not worry about failing and wasting their time.

This is more about saving the time of people that do fractal than to be pugfriendly. Fractal is not even pug friendly at all. Pug groups take longer than well organized guild/friend groups. Not everyone has the option to ask guildies to come do fractal with them and they’ll have a party going.
Having to run this fractal for 2-3 hours just to reach this point and wipe with an almost impossible task to finish cliffside afterwards is ridiculous. I’ll rather be able to finish a fractal I started than to be thinking 2 hours later that I could’ve done something else. I’ve wiped a decent amount of time on this fractal and ended my run enough time for me to get to the point where I have to post this. I’m tired of the patch that never worked.
No… that’s not a bug. A bug is a feature not working as intended. Fine that the difficulty of that fractal is way too high in 40+ runs due those not-resetting chanters on wipe. But, you see, that’s just my opinion, and yours. Those chanters are not supposed to reset to 2-spawn on a wipe. They are working as intended. The intended working is a kitten of difficulty, but you’re very wrong about what a bug is.
Talking to you is pointless. I had a much better time with cliffside fractal before this patch. At least back then when my party wiped and killed only 1 chanter, we came back seeing only “1” chanter and continue on until we finished the seals. “After” this patch that Anet made, even if we were to kill 1 or 0 chanters then have a party wipe, we’ll come back with a crap load of chanters to deal with.

Yet you two both failed to read what the dev said. Go back and read it, and if I’m still wrong or I’m right just forget about it. Anyway, I’m just tired of this “you post” “I post” thing, it’s off topic.
The reason I believe it’s a bug is because if something is “reset” it should go back to the original amount. If it started at 2 chanters it should “reset” back to 2, not 2 chanters along with the mob that appear after the original 2 are dead.
I hate the chanters because for fractal (I often pug, heck that’s mostly where all my level ups came from), once we reach cliffside, if the party “doesn’t” wipe then we succeed. Otherwise, almost 100% of the time after a party wipe the fractal cannot be continued, because party members do not have the side profession to sub in to help save the run.
Might help for beating Adnul:
Never ever drink without Adnul’s critique skill up.
Always Bluff.
When your bluff gets countered use bletch then water.
Around 50% health that is when he starts spamming his skill, so make sure you have bletch charged up. Do not use bletch unless you see his critique is active or when you get your bluff countered.
If critique is not up, even if your health seem dangerous, do not use water and save it for when critique is up. Just use bluff.
When his skill is active, the order of the skills you use have to be: bletch > water > drink. This is so that your bletch will be at “1 more drink to activate”
This was what I did to beat him 4 times with 4 lowbies after the patch (it still took me 30 minutes to 1 hour) because my low level 2s couldn’t use the pies before the patch. I hope this helps. Good “Luck”!
There is no bug. It’s working just like they intend it. If you have a problem with it, you should go to a subforum where suggestions are listened, here they have enough with checking the real bugs, that are tons. You’ll get no attention for a change in difficulty suggestion in the bug subforum.
Well guess what? I checked up on this and apparently it is a bug. Learn to research your stuff before saying the wrong things to other people.
That only works assuming every pug has a spare warrior or guardian to use. That’s not always the case. Plus, guild wars 2 was designed to be able to use any professions and clear it without the idea of having a tank and healer in a group.
Those chanters just doesn’t follow along with this because they heal the seals too fast for some combination of groups, especially in the higher level fractals.
lol I rather have this stay in so I can find pugs who can’t do it on 3rd fractal and carry them through. however they should make sure that it spawns 8 by default, not after a wipe. are you even 48 op?

How does that help make it easier then? if you can’t kill them in the first place and wipe just to have all the chanters respawn it’ll impossible to beat the second time around. If you can’t beat it with the 2 chanters in the first place what makes them think that’ll you beat it with 8 chanters? Patching it to make it more difficult seem ridiculous to me. One chance to beat the cliffside instance and if you fail it’s over, big waste of time and means that pug groups will be more frustrated with this cliffside fractal than other organized groups. Not everyone can find a guild group to run at the time of their convience.
Anet might as well make fractal the dungeon not to do for random people getting together. They might as well make Water and Swamp fractal harder and longer too. Lets not let random people do fractal and make it a guild only dungeon.

Even after a party wipe, the chanters that were not suppose to respawn, spawn anyway and that prevents a lot of groups from finishing that fractal. Instead of having the 2 normal chanters at a seal, after a wipe, there are about 8 chanters at each seals. Too many chanters, they heal the seals too fast, they respawn faster than we can run to the other side to charge the hammer to hit the opposite seal. This is just a total mess and it’s frustrating just to fail at cliffside, because the chanters are overwhelming.
I remember reading a patch note saying that the chanters at the seals will be reset to normal after a party wipe, but it failed to do what it was intended and instead of resetting the amount of chanters to 2 it becomes 8 chanters and that makes it impossible to finish. Having waste hours to get here just to wipe and fail makes fractal not even worth doing. It’s just a complete waste of time.

I destoryed Adnul in one try with the pie…
I’ve been trying to beat this guy for hours and it seem impossible. Adnul has better healing, infinite special moves and he seem to always interrupt your water in critical moments near the end. Hoping he’ll keep drinking by bluffing him to death doesn’t seem fun at all.
On a side note, I was hoping that we didn’t have to play the drinking game against these NPCs for all our characters either. I found out that you have to drink against every NPCs on every character you have or you will not be able to get the signature moves. If I read the update correctly, Poyaqui will disappear after the event is over and I would like to have his signature skills on all my characters. I just feel like trying to beat all the NPCs will prevent me from having time with Sanctum Sprints. Like many others I’m assuming, I really did come in expecting to beat all the NPCs within an hour. I did not expect to lose for 2+ straight hours against one drinking master with the hope that’ll I’ll only win if I’m very very very very very lucky.
Thanks to Gabby I’ll test out the “mango pie” healing trick. I’ll post again to let you guys know how it goes (I really don’t think a mini game should require a cheat to win, this just defeats the purpose of it being for “fun”)
I don’t know if this problem only happens to me, but everytime there’s a new patch my game suddenly has major login problems. I can’t login to the game when hours before I could play without any problems. The game client would just keep giving me the connection error message.
This only happens to me whenever there’s anything new added to the game.
I logged in a few times and played a few minutes before i eventually get disconnected whenever I use a waypoint… Sometimes login is successful, but after 3 login and 3 waypoints, I cannot even reach the character login screen anymore.
I have a bunch of useless transmutation stones sitting in my bank and was wondering if there was a better way to use them. I feel like there’s no point getting them from dailies if all they do is nothing, considering I only will rather use transmutation for level 80 armor instead of the 79 and below.
I would like to have a recipe to transmute these stones into crystal instead of piling up dust.
I think there’s been too many times where I ran into stupid NPCs not functioning properly to complete the quest. It’s a complete waste of time. There should be an option to force the NPC to continue their task instead of causing you to waste your time repeating the quest from the beginning for the slim chance that it’ll work the second, third, or even forth time around because of a bug in the game system. I don’t have time to continuing wasting 20 minutes just to reach the same fail game error by the NPC.

This is annoying me. First, I ran into a quest that couldn’t be completed because the NPC decided to stop doing what they’re suppose to do. I’ve completed this quest 3 previous times and for it to mess up now is very frustrating. Now I close the client to get the patch, but it prevents me from logging back in. What a waste of time.

While I’m playing sometimes when I go to the character select screen or another map, the game will be disconnected randomly. It doesn’t happen all the time but frequently enough after around 10pm pacific time.
I closed all my background problems, rebooted router and restarted my laptop and such but it still persist to have connection issues. I can go onto other websites perfectly normal but I cannot log onto Guild Wars 2 to play without trying a few times beforehand with a connection error message showing up.

I completed the steps you told me to try but both of them still does not have anything popping up. The other programs on my computer works like normal, but I’m still having this issue with Guild Wars 2. The repair short of Guild Wars 2 I made does not solve the issue for me. I’ll try reinstalling to see if it helps.
Anyone else having problems launching Guild Wars 2 and the game doesn’t load up? The icon just blinks once then nothing pops up on my screen. Nothing has changed since I last played the game, so I have no idea why it is not working for me.
Should I reinstall the game or wait for this patch that I’ve been reading about in the forums?
