Is it possible to make this reward track allow access to an npc where we could buy the Gift of battle after completing it once? This would allow us to have the option to buy the gift with wvw tokens or repeating the reward track for the gift.
Bringing in random arena, Guild versus Guild and/or Hero’s Ascent would bring a raise to pvp. For the casual pvers, something similar to Fort Aspenwood, Jade Quarry and Alliance Battles.

So I was trying it all wrong then, I thought we had to hold all four forts.
Any way to have these bosses show up more frequently. Compared to when the map came out to now it seem they don’t appear anymore for the casuals.

Losing division at ruby is fair
The only problem I see with losing divisions are longer queues times for the higher division players. I prefer getting rid of the tier safety net. If you lose 5 games at zero pips you lose the division rank.
It would probably be better to give the players that reach their rank this season to be dropped two divisions for the start of season 3 and just give them the rewards for the previous divisions. They will reach it anyway. This will help make games better at the start of season 3.
also the immobilize bug, is there a fix on that instead of having to type an emote?
any word on putting a cooldown on the immobilize trait on them?

It’s common to let other players bleed out when they’re down off point. This makes them useless for that amount of time.
That all make sense, but mmr doesn’t take builds into consideration. Too many factors affecting team performance. I feel like solo q is a bad way to play rank matches. More people on the same page communicating makes it easier.
I’m a bit confused on this since nobody really explained it in a simple way.
First time I played rank matches was when season 1 came out. Most of my win/lost records were from moving up and down the pip tiers in ruby/diamond divisions.
So my real question is, are my win/lost records from ruby/diamond division consider the same as my win/lost records from sapphire and below? Do higher division matches have higher mmr points/rating or the win/lost rating for all matches the same?

Can we get an ascended box merchant that only trade other ascended boxes for different types of armor pieces? I keep getting shoulder boxes. I would love to have a way to trade them out since I don’t really need more than 9 (I have 9 professions).

It’s just happened to me tonight. Clearly, they managed to hack into the game.
Nope, no lag. I had a party member with me on the point.
I just played a match where no enemy team player was on mid point and could not decap it. A mesmer and I stood on it and nothing happened, only until the other party came on and off were we able to see it get decap.
Hackers in a pvp game makes it unfair to play against.
You’re max level at 80 in any pvp map. All you need are the weapons. It doesn’t matter what level they are they will have all the skills unlocked. Same with your utilities all being unlock.
The only thing you have to change for pvp would be the rune, amulet, and sigils on your weapon. Some runes/amulets/sigils require gold to unlock.
For starters, it’ll be easier for you to play pvp by using builds from metabattle.com, from there you can switch it up based on how you like playing the game style.
I would like to have a conquest map where there are no secondary objectives.
I think this would help new players realize the importance of capture points before heading off doing secondary objectives in map thinking they are helping the team.

Your sample size is 19. You quite literally cannot make any sort of claim about drop rates with a sample size that small. Once you have opened hundreds or thousands of 51+ chests, then you can report your data on drop rates.
Since the release of the drop changes, one of my friends has gotten 1-2 armor boxes a week. I have never had an armor or weapon box drop in any sort of content in the game (not just fractals) and I’ve been playing for over 3 years. Such is the reality of variance and RNG. The more I open/play, the closer to the average my numbers will get. I’m not worried, and you shouldn’t be either. :P
These are drops I’ve gotten since ascended armor boxes have first started. After months of fractals, these are what I’ve gotten from opening those boxes. The new upgraded fractal drop patch since then doesn’t change the rate of shoulders I’ve gotten from before or after.
Can we get a fix on fractal ascended armor pieces please. The odds of getting ascended shoulders pieces seem to be higher compared to the rest of the other armor pieces in the game.

Can we get an ascended armor piece trader to trade these boxes to armor boxes with pieces we can pick? I don’t know about other players but I would like it very much. It makes each box have value instead of being scrap metal.
trying to react on a dynamic fight by shifting the screen to move doesn’t help when a screen pops up and show someone’s buff.
Can we please get an option to not show other players’ buff? or is there one in option that I am unaware of?

I played inside Mad King’s Labyrinth with my revenant and logged out inside the instance. I am now unable to log onto my revenant.
How to fix this issue?
Just curious if we’ll ever get a panel in achievement or other to tell us which characters on our account has opened a dungeon instance or not. It’ll make it easier for us.
Don’t worry about the few groups that kick you for little things, just continue learning and it’ll all be okay.
Just don’t join zerker groups, they’re crazy people that expect you to know your build, profession, gear, and the dungeon paths.
Just wing it!
Join any group and just tag along with them. If you see them bunch up into a corner, do the same and walk ALL the way into the stack. Being out of stack prevents the boss from completely entering the stack and could potentially mess up the encounter. Some good things to have: condition removal, projectile blocks or reflection skills. Once you get better at the dungeon you’ll learn what to bring or not. Also, have a weapon set for good aoe cleaving and another for solo dps on the boss.
While in a stack, never ever EVER use fear or knockback skills. Never pull anything and let the leader do the pulling. Usually it’s the bossy person speaking in chat.
Dodges, always use them.
Rule #1, when the group is stacking, stack.
Rule #2, when the group is avoiding (skipping mobs), avoid them too because you probably will not be able to kill them alone.
Rule #3, never let your teammates out of your sight, if they suddenly disappear, press “m” to see what waypoint they used and follow along.

One good answer to this post is stop playing with pugs and find people that use potions just like you. If it bugs you the stop finding PUG groups.

People don’t care! Get over it.
I’m sure this has been said like 100 times already, but if your class doesn’t have a block/invuln, then stay in melee range the whole fight. Not only will you do more damage (thus making the fight end sooner) but she will never target you with the teleport. A win-win!
If you’re worried about all the other attacks, good news, dodging mitigates 100% of that damage.
Come back again when you dodge her pistol attack 100%. I also never mention anything about dodging because all classes can do that.
This fight requires you to have a block or invulnerbility skill. When a profession doesn’t have access to something require for the fight mechanic then it’s flawed. Both the profession and the fight mechanics. Every other profession has a way to block it, but the necromancer has to take the damage. How is that fair?
I’m only saying this because everyone that has the AR just skips the broken mistlocks anyway. People only post for 36, 38, 40, 49, 50 for the mistlock fotm runs.
Mai Trin was upgraded to remind people how horrible necromancer weapon skills and utilities are compared to other professions in the game. Hidden message from this is that necromancers are not allowed in fractals because they are useless against Mai Trin.
If a dungeon has mechanics that one profession cannot deal with, it’s clearly broken or the profession is broken. Either Mai Trin needs a fix or necromancer need a fix. I prefer fixing the necromancer.
People should not be so hostile in dungeon groups also. Another good thing to do is follow the group’s strategy even though it’s not the optimal strategy at the moment. Everything works. Follow their tactics and don’t pull bosses like you’re the leader. Learning to be the sheep of the group sometimes is better than being angry at people. People can read anger, don’t make them angrier by being angry at them. Don’t be the PUG that doesn’t listen to the group.
Unless you’re the person opening the dungeon, do whatever you want!
Pvp tracker is a great way to get people to play Pvp, but we need Hero’s ascent and Guild vs. Guild back. Guildwars 2 hasn’t had a guild battle in years! We need it back.
I wouldn’t mind having a PVP fractal tracker. When you just don’t have the time for a full fractal run doing a few games of Pvp would be nice.
And fix the undodgeable pistol attack of Mai Trin, that doesn’t fit the game mechanic at all. In a game where dodges are suppose to be a self support move, not being able to dodge something doesn’t make sense.
How come nobody does speed clear with 5 of the same professions?

Fractals just needs to be looked over again just because some classes (the necromancers most likely) doesn’t have the utility/weapon skills or traits to do fractals. If they lack the support aspect in the game at least they should do more dps, but they don’t. There should be an equilibrium in support skills to damage output.
Same with fractals, the reward should be based off which fractal instances were done and on the time it took to complete the run. Or at least have certain fractal instances have an increase reward based off the set time it should take each instance to be done.
As for the mist essences, having a way to craft them into dragonite ores will be great or any of the other two. It’ll also be nice to have a ring vendor that trade our unwanted rings. Non-infused rings for 5 dragonite ores/empyreal shard/bloodstone dust or 10 for infused rings.
I don’t know about everyone else here, but lately doing fotm 40/50 gets me 2-3 rare items that are worth something (exotic recipes don’t cut it) and useless ascended rings (non-infused included). An hour of effort in fotm is fun, but when you run into Mai Trin and it adds another hour to the run. Now we have issues. This is like the dredge fractal scenario all over again. People don’t want extra time spent in fotm because the longer time doesn’t make the reward worth the effort.
Mai Trin makes your fractal run way too long because of all the rng that happens in the fight. She never moves to where you want her and when she does she pistol teleports out. No guardian in the group for aegis makes this fight difficult. Not all professions in the game has access to multiple block skills or invulnerability skills. Necromancers have neither of these.
Leads back to the point that fotm, I’m assuming, was suppose to be possible for every profession in the game. Now it’s a place where projectile reflects/absorbs makes the team. Having blocks and invulnerability moves are a plus. Any profession without these traits are consider non-viable and a burden. What’s the point of having a necromancer in the game when Skale Venom easily replaces them anyway? Kind of sad when I found out about this cheap 16c necromancer replacement item.

Yeah, removing trading post items made it work. Kind of a weird bug if you ask me.

I got guildwars 2 for the pvp side and currently there’s no joy in winning with random join. Winning a match that doesn’t count for anyting but a win is a bit weak. GvG at least shows how impressive or unimpressive your guild is. Having something to reach in HA makes winning matches more fun. When losing means just losing a match it doesn’t mean much, but when you lose trying to reach the summit of HA it means a lot more.
the game is broken
The 0 gem item glitches when I try to buy the unlock. Logging back in and out a few times doesn’t work and waiting around LA doesn’t unlock it either.
Anyway to get around this?
Yes, we need better utilities and stuff for necromancers to help parties. They have garbage helping utilities. Minions that are more of a burden in dungeons than help. No cleave. Other classes can cleave without evening traiting from just their weapons.
Guardians has good dps, party aegis, condition removal and reflects.
Warriors has banners, good dps with axe auto, and can might stacks with PS(not for speed clears, but they still have this awesome option for pugs). A longbow for might stacking if their party is missing fire fields.
Elementalists has great might stacking and provides conjure weapons that are really powerful (ice bows and fiery greatsword), great dps with staff or Lightning hammer. They can also slightly heal while using conjure weapons without even trying in water atunement.
Mesmers has great reflect options, condition removal if necessary, portal and timewarp. These great support makes up for what they lack compared to other professions.
Thieves has great stealth to skip mobs in dungeons, make things smoother in runs. Great single target dps to blow up bosses. They even have a spammable blast finisher with their shortbow just because they can.
Rangers has spotter and frost spirit, but their sword dps for some unknown reason jumps around and prevents you from dodging unless you swap weapons when you don’t want to. Nobody wants them using a bow. Their pets are so important that rangers are the only profession that have to worry about their pet dying or not. Dead pet = lost of dps. Other classes don’t have to care about their pet dying.
Engineers can do a bit of everything. Sometimes not so great but at least they can do it.
Necromancers don’t help the team. Nobody wants a healing necromancer, because they’re garbage. Just give them a passive boon that allows the party to life leech from mobs when they’re near the necromancer. Like that signet of vampricicicic something but better, because that signet is not so good. Every class has a weapon that can cleave! Why oh why does the necromancer not get a cleave weapon? Give them a scythe, they can be the dervish that people want back. We can give them a bone and also let necromancer cleave with a scythe, it fits their profession too.
This was what I loved about guildswars 1. I was hoping they’ll have make it possible in guildwars 2 by now. Beating other teams and reaching the summit for the reward and holding it was so fun.

That’s why you don’t do dungeons with guilds. Find ways to not get kicked will make dungeons more enjoyable for you.
The kick system has it’s pros and cons, so just find a way to deal with it. It won’t be fixed anytime soon because there are too many issues.
How come the outfits from the gemstore allows us to not show the helm and gloves but it will always show the shoulders regardless if the checks on the shoulders are there or not?
