The problem I see with this is; Who chooses what to build where?

Everyone sees thier ideal placement as the best spot, and with 166 players per server per map. Nothing would ever get built.

Actualy, i wouldn’t mind a rolling; Refeshing every hour or so; Score board. I like to keep track of the score when I’m at work or when I just can’t get logged in. as it stands right now, we have to wait and hope somebody posts a Screen shot of your match.

SoR, you duped me with my own tactic last night. Good job. We were hitting DB in your BL and out of nowhere, no cross swords or nothing…you guys got in the inner keep before us. That takes serious coordination, GJ!

it’s kinda making me cry inside a bit thinking after friday at least one of us will be moving on in either dirrection. I have seen some epic fights and manouvers preformed this week. Its been a nonstop back and forth.

SoR, Y’sB, and NSP should have a respect showing in the last 30min on friday, and run around /saluting each other….

Of course I know its not gonna happen, but would be so cool to see. Everyone deserves a pat on the back for the incredible work they have put in this week.

Friday it was agree the Yak’s was not allowed on NSP BL, but that ended sat morning, we only made major efforts to keep you out for 1 day for the hack.

I know not of and cross server alliances though, that was just NSP attitude.

I have been coordinating our server on a regular basis, but I own no icon. I have even seen the Icons asking me where to hit next.

My point is the Icon is a good way to gather forces, but true commanders will shine past the Icon. There has even been 1 icon that I know of, that was totally shot down and nobody would follow the other night.

It may be called a commander, but in reality, its really just a zerg gatherer.

Because the fight a player make could never be replicated by an NPC.

What I’m about to say is not quite relevent to the topic at hand, but kinda fits the theme.

I have been actively discourging building any siege in the Citadal area of NSP BL. I encourage other servers to hold this honourable stance. This is a known exploit and should be frowned upon by everyone looking for good fair fun in these matches.

All the nonesense aside from Friday night; I have to say it feels really good to be in this tier. These fights have been just epic. There are times I feel maybe we are out matched, then a resurgence happens and my hope returns.

@Anet, if you were waiting for the servers to balance before stopping transfers; (I don’t speak for everyone) I think these 3 servers should be good.

I love the heart in Kaineng. Please never lose that.

Koodoes guys. That was of the best effort I have see since the days of AA vs TA. If you guys did what you did last last night every night, the score would be alot closer, and everyone would be enjoying WvW this week alot more.

All the bantering in the world can’t save your servers, but the efforts you put in last night IS what will save your servers moving forward. You made NSP earn every step to retake what you took, and that is what we have been looking for from you.

TL is only 1 of many parts to Accenssion Alliance. Its not quite fair to point to 1 guild. Besides there was also Ruin, who were not part of AA but a VERY large chunk of WvW’ers.

Why would you lower the costs?

This fix is just to make the losing side not lose as bad. The winning sides would just build faster and cheaper, and you would then have the same problem….

“Because we don’t have enough people.”
“Why don’t we have enough people?”
“Because they quit when we started losing.”

Until people start to relize the only way to win is to participate. If your falling behind in the score, stop looking at the score and fight. Drag everyone you know and get everyone they know, into WvW. If your being beat by tactics, learn how they did it, and adapt or use it in your next match. Hell use it at a different time in your current match, you’ll see if theres a counter to it.

Lets all stop the QQ for the losing side. 2 out of 3 of every match is gonna lose every week. Anet has said, this is not ment to be fair; ITS WAR!!

I know many that just refused to invest in upgrades during the 24 hour match ups, not because they would get new matches, but because theres no point in spending a gold on a tower for less then 24 hours.

Percived value would crush any upgrades.

We would then be back to where we were at the 24 rematches. Nobody wanted to invest in upgrades. As this can/is a major factor in holding a position for continous point generation.

I’m not sure where you were playing last night, but you should have gotten into either BP BL or NSP BL. There were constant fights pretty much till the server went down.

As far as the towers go, think outside the box.

I doubt we will outnumber 2 servers, but sure as “kitten” we’ll will put up a fight.

I sooooooo look forward to tonight. I love the idea you guys ganging up on us. It makes for awesome fights.

I have had some decent battles with AR and understand the moral issue. Its just the forums that some members of AR seem to be showing thier maturity level.

I and MANY other on NSP have been diligently seeking the person. We don’t want it as much as you don’t. To be constantly slapped in our face day after day as some excuse for our dominance, is frankly getting insulting and extreemly tiresome.

Not trying to create any acceptance…not even sure where you see that in my post? I meerly pointing out the true sportmanship between the 2 servers. AR really needs to stop whinning and take a page from BP.

So 1 instance, that occured on Friday, and we have said time and again that we don’t condone; Is the only reason we have been able to dominate through till today.

I’m not gonna apoligize anymore to AV. You need to stop blaming an Orb and start making changes to your strats. All the excusses will not make you better, only action will change things for you.

I never hear Brolis Pass making excusses like this, they just get out there and FIGHT! Yet they are in last place. I’m holding them in a higher respect then the communtiy here on the forums from Anvil Rock.

Good showing tonight in your Borderlands. Those trebs were a major pain in Longview. You guys have been really good fun, and tough at times; But it is noticable that coordination is a little rough.

I tried on 3 seperate occassions to take those trebs out, finally got 3 from Arah. I saw you guys looking at me from up there, but nobody came to take me out till your trebs were down and wall at 60%.

I know losing a major team can hurt, as we have been there; But don’t give up. You guys are a nice challange during prime time EST.

awww, thats a shame, sorry to hear that. You guys were getting better at placement, but still needed fine tuning. Thos were some really good fights to get those trebs out.

I’m actually starting to feel bad for all the trebs I keep killing at Cliffside in your Boarderlands; and wanted to say, SORRY. I know how expencive it must get. I love that you don’t give up and keep trying to find the perfect spot for your treb. Please keep this mentality, its very healthy and creates awesome battles.

I am the guy that keeps dropping balistas either right in front of them, or way down below on the east side. You guys do love them, and I think I’m getting close to 10 killed in last couple days.

ok I was sent here to see these pics of a NSP player with the orb….all I see is an orb in the air. While yes this is a major issue, and Anet really needs to find out WTH happened….

We watched u take the orb and run it all the way down the east side of the map, not once, but twice! Then proceeded to run around all over inside EH till the timer ran out. We wanted the orb in EH, it was hell trying to go for it up at Godsword.

And we never had the orb…so your crying on the forums that we hacked, but we had nothing to do with the orb you had not once, but TWICE!!

Are you trying to imply that ALL French people must live and work in the same times zones? Or German? Or Spanish?

Let THIS sink in;
Its a 24 hour real world, with different people everywhere and in every timezone.

I have never got in on this night capping issue for a couple reasons.

1) WvW like real war, is not fair and never will be.
2) WvW is not about balance, its about victory.
3) All those other threads have the same problem with them;

They are some person who got kitten hurt because they have a bed time that the whole world doesn’t share. WvW is not about 1 person, or 1 guild, or 1 group of friends, or 1 zerg.

It takes the whole SERVER at all times to claim victory.

Anet has stated there is no problem with night capping, and them closing threads very similar to this one, i’m in favor for.

Please find something constructive to whine about.

I was there till 3am on your BL defending Garrison. It was good strat on you guys to hit us with trebs then try sneaking in the back door away from the trebs. We held you off twice, but not sure what happened to our forces after that. I not sure that everyone on NSP was aware that we had to move the orb there due to the Alter being busted at EH. When we called for reinforcements on the third attack, nobody responded till we were holding u on the inner gate. By the time they came u were in the Lord room.

I admit i kinda lost my cool in team chat and logged, but as far as your tactics FC;

I have nothing else to add here.

I am a melee ranger and regularly charge into zergs kill and escape. I’m sure many that have seen me in action think to themselves, “how the hell did he survive that?!” I also have been known for dragging 5-7 players half way across the map with them beating on me, only to see them give up.

Melee is a viable option, but you really need to play with you traits, gear, skills, runes, sigals, ect. Its an all in or not. Theres no room for half kittening. Even my pet plays their part in my survivability.

I have been known for taking on a camp by my self. I’ll admit, repawns happen, but with steady focus, i can solo a camp.

If your not confident in your abilities, I would suggest a rifle. Rifle warriors can be quite devistating.

I’ll admit, I and Blackout [BLO] did faulter. It was over a week after AA left us to die. I was in the Red Boarderlands everyday and night trying to orginize us, but to no avail. I spent over 20g in siege during this period, only to watchit time and again get destroyed because the zerg never had supply. That’s all anyone thought to do, run around in 1 big pack of mindlessness.

It was heart breaking to finally come to the decission to leave. But it was not just me that got fed up, it was my whole guild. We never truely recovered from that. I still have a hard time getting guildies to enter WvW. After less then a week on a new server, we decided that our recruitment opertunities were pretty much dead with so many other bigger guild names, so we came home. Recruitment is still hard, but we are happier in NSP

I will continue to be in there orginizing, and teaching when needed. Other times, watch for that little group not in plain sight, you just might see the [BLO] tag. And if you see a ranger with said tag…bring more then 5 to kill him, you’ll need it…lol

I know you see NSP as just a bunch of zergs steam rolling over everything, but there are those creating some of those openings for us to swoop in and grab.

Blackout [BLO], set up and opened the doors for our server to take the FC garrison yesterday. This was a 5 man team. Now FC did try to stop us, but they ran into our defences and wiped in the range of 30+ on 2 seperate occassions. After Garrison, we [BLO] turn our sites on Cliffside. We got the south wall down, but FC wouldn’t let our forces close enough to get in.

My point is, maybe look around and see what your not seeing before u blame the zerg.
