I think steal should give stealth for 3 seconds. This would help with on stealth abilites, and could help with attacks that dont have dagger off hand.
Another benefit is it would lower the mug, cloak dagger, backstab burst alot lower. Since cloak and dagger would be the reveal buff on. So would have to just use mug – backstab.

Hello.
I am working on a new build and would like some advice to save time doing my own testing to find out the information that is all ready available to a select few and hidden inside these forums.
Its all about bleeds. At what point does duration increase and condition damage be more important than the previous.
If you stack 2 runes each of krait, centersaur, and another one you can have an increase of 45%. If you have the sigil for 10% it brings you up to 55%. In your trait line you can increase it another 30%. Total increase 85%. (Dont think you can have 2 sigils both for 10%)
Currently I have the runes and sigil, and trait line up to 20%. My condition damage is 975. Would i be better stacking more condition damage in the runes and loose the duration.
So the actual question is: What would be the perfect duration increase on bleeds, from 0% up to 85%. What is the % to aim for? Since then i can play around with runes, sigils, armours, to get to that % and it can free up other things.

Sword mainhand.
Aoe damage. Great movement with teleports. Daze. Immobilize.
No spike damage. Boring autoattack to kill.
Dagger mainhand.
Single target damage. Poison. Massive spike damage with backstab. Massive damage with heartseeker. Some with heart seeker.
No aoe. Normally played on a glasscannon type build.
Now if heartseeker was moved to sword number 2. And the teleport (which does damage and immobilizes) moved to dagger number 2. Glass cannon thiefs have some more movement options. They can do a short immobilize. Sword thiefs now have burst when the target gets on low health and most sword thiefs dont use there ini so now they have a dump for it.
Another + point is that after the cloak dagger mug backstab build, if you can survive it, with a well played dodge or skills, it can be annoying to eat a heartseeker or 2. This removes some of the finishing moves with dagger and makes the sword more viable.
Just an idea. Most likely a bad one. But always good to discuss things.

Hey guys and girls. Wondering if you could all help me.
I am currently looking to finalize my weapon skins. And to be honest, i am bored of porting from ebon to each HQ for the cultural weapons, then lions arch for dungeon etc.
Also cant see the skins on the AH of the more expensive named exotics.
Preview in pvp is decent, ish. But you just dont get a feel for it on the character.
So, finally, wondering if you could post some nice pictures of some decent weapons on a thief and help me decide which skin to get.
So far:
Norn T3 shortbow, wolfsbow. Looks decent.
Whispers pistols look quite awesome with silencers, or the ebonhawk ones just look big and scary.

If pvp rewarded more gold as a reward, would this cure the problem. You would still be a low lvl with no maps unlocked, but you could buy decent gear as you lvl from the ah as well as top tier dyes?

Question:
Would it kill wvw or spvp to have some sort of movement speed buff. A signet that gives a passive speed boost and applies swiftness for example.
I spvp and i would never drop a utility slot for the above ability.
So would this be to strong and unbalance wvwvw.
I just want to run faster in pve, engineer has nearly 100% uptime of swiftness, and thief just goes towards the horizon. Warriors seem to spin and charge past me.
I use the curtain, and tag mobs to get clones out to run faster with a trait. End up zig zagging from mob to mob. It costs me a weapon slot and a trait slot which i then change out when i get somewhere. This is just annoying and can’t see a point in it.

Tried. Not enough healing to bunker properly. Most people run when low and not enough dps to finish.
Can turn a group fight tho. So more of a group build.
