Nope. But I’ve seen so many things change in this game over the last three years, the only thing I really believe from ArenaNet is, as Colin put it, “Nothing is off the table.”

I don’t have any reason to believe achievement rewards will some day be in the gem store, but neither do I have much reason to believe they never will.

yea you never know. what we do know is people will pay X amount of gems for things of that nature. x amount of gems = $$$$

i bought the crapper nodes. the thing is to me, is with a few more released and a few more like the candy corn LS ones etc, going to your instance will EVENTUALLY be more appealing. like eventually you’ll go there and maybe get full bags of diff kitten. hell, sometimes i dread doing gathering for dailies, sometimes i love it. this will add an increasingly effective method for when i dread it and just feel like pvping. im pimpin’ my crib dude.

thats basically it for me, cept that its nothing for me to throw 800 gems at this or that for a game i love. i’ve spent money(in game and irl) on far more pointless things in my time.

hopefully, in the future we can drop by our instance, fill up on some mats, knock out a daily or two and have some other reasons to go there other than personal story. i like it.

can the “i was investing crap”, the dyes are meant to be used not to be inflated. Especially when some of the dam things have a 10silver counterpart and aren’t too special anyways. every other toon has twilight and look at it’s price.

plus how could you not expect or not think that they might possibly get released again? it’s happened before. not anets fault or anyone else’s but your own if you didn’t sell. besides, they’ll go up again.

I know from WVW that it’s messed up. I’ve also watched commanders beg people to stack to get count and some people are either kitten or are afk every time. Most of the time everyone fights over what lane is what lane. When you have that many people in one area it’s hard to sort things out. having everyone on TS/vent is good but impossible.

What i do is look at the map and see the commander names and only listen to what they’ve got to say really regarding setting up beforehand. Too many other people keep putting their two cents in and confuse people. I was being a commander for it all till I tried Amber Wurm and got flamed by half the map for “screwing up” something that is practically 100% guaranteed fail.

I think she either wants to make her own dragon or to control one through means other than what Snaff was trying.

i think that bit shouldnt scale as much and the eggs should be easier to kill. maybe even make it 10 needed to be ate instead of 20. idk. i’ve gone that route every time and it has almost killed my willpower.

i draw most aggro everywhere when using my tanky warrior set. sometimes it happens to my zerker specs with diff classes as well. maybe try to be more balanced and see if you’re still on it’s kitten list.

i mained a ranger since beta and it actually has made me a better player overall. i win some and lose some. playing nearly anything else i learned some sure, but i win most of the time which is the difference for me.

something is just missing with ranger. one thing is for sure, some classes i’m not nearly as skilled in the class as i am with ranger yet i do better vs everything. like i’m not the greatest mesmer or necro but i steamroll with either.

sure i still might win in the same situation with my ranger but my ranger in the same situation is like perfectly playing all the rounds of bell choir blindfolded to win in the same devestating fashion.

you’d probably be real upset with me on your team then. you know the guy that gets 1 note right out of 100? warrior faceroll tactics ftw.

i love that game but sadly its being ruined. i loved playing lunatic inquisition on halloween as well. that is till every moron out there suicided at the start to become a ghost right off the bat and i’d be the only villager/human w/e. that was extremely lame as well.

happened to me a few times in wvw. sometimes weapon swapping fixes it, sometimes using a siege blueprint works. usually i cant fix it and i have to reload which sucks when it’s wvw and the que time is insane

same here and my pc specs are far beyond optimal

that’s happened to me before a few times. i think after i die and respawned i fell through. not sure where i was and what i was doing when i died though.

i opened a ton too and im also kind of disappointed. i did get the tonic early and was able to sell it high. also was able to sell the grenth back pieces high as well. since then though it’s been kind of profitless and pointles. like all the other 10 copper each recipes. ive got a boat load of them, you cant give them away.

Heh, amusing convo, but the guy who made the suggestion is actually correct. Here’s some tips on getting the shockwave achievement:

1. Try and get everybody to stand on the same side of the Wurm, preferably in a narrow line. This increases the chances of all shockwaves coming in the same direction. Players who already have the achievement should stand further back so the Wurm doesn’t spit poison right at her feet (makes it easier for the guys in front to survive).

2. If you need the achievement, stand right in front of the Wurm, then start jumping when you see her raise her head for the slam. This will give you at least 1 shockwave credit each time. I got all 5 of mine in a single event this way.

so many people ranting in game over this thing. the attack is telegraphed and easy to jump over if you pay attention and don’t listen to the guys telling you to spam jump. you can get it done easily in one-two tried provided people aren’t all over the place or you’re bad.

probably be easier to just buy w/gold.

also hey anet: why didn’t you add a node in our story instance like the candy corn one instead of just a key as reward? you should of done both.

The Tower sure seemed like “Zerg-Only” content. Even when starting at Level 3, it was near impossible to solo up to the Chest. Thankfully, it’s gone now.

not trying to be an kitten but

level 3 was easy to solo. the only thing i had trouble with was the portal area which i also figured out. there was a safe spot and also a method to lose agro so you could pick things off.

i soloed the whole tower cept the spider and wurm, which usually had people there anyways. it was no great feat either.

they should hire this guy and give him a new GF

i got endless tonic doing that and made around 20g selling it not to mention a ton of other stuff

agree, im too lazy for chatcodes. plus why do we have to go out and do the work? if you want us to purchase something AND be satisfied with what we purchased allow us to try on things properly. like maybe i just want to try out the gloves or something.

edit: further more as the OP pointed out with marjory’s dagger how you dont wield it. people might be more inclined to buy something if they can see all the effects.

imo they should of just buffed some other classes more

anywho, every patch like this people will find the next best thing and every other person will use it which will make it feel OP and then it will get nerfed, rinse wash repeat.

while i dont agree it fixes anything, at least it keeps things interesting

idk the solution but powerful banners is pretty underwhelming compared to pretty much anything else you can take instead

Same. Best thing about is that starting MONDAY I get to drive 1 hr 30mins+ to work all week long and this was my only freakin day to do all this event crap. Thanks Anet lol.

wolf – its fear special can save when youre downed. fun to send it long distance at a group that’s balled up. also good as an extra mechanic to allow you to do more dmg or to get an extra second to heal etc. its awesome.

hyena – special summons another one. good meat shield. has cripple and likes to knock down peeps. the KD can also save you when youre downed. works good in smaller fights because youll do that much more dmg and have a little bit more cc from the extra one.

all i ever use really. sometimes i might use a bear or cat. sometimes devourers. sometimes i mess around with forage. usually these two though. like 99% of the time.

Fastforward a few months from now. How annoying is it going to be with 1 too many blue icons all over your map?

Yes but I am already playing less daily. WvW needs to be improved.
