Lets get this straight NOBODY says we are getting no reveal next week stop thinking just because they haven’t said anything it means we are not getting a reveal unless you have tangible proof stop giving out misinformation.

Remember gamescom is from wednesday to sunday thats 4 days and with Blizzard revealing their expansion you know Anet has something big up their sleeves because Gamescom is Anets turf and nobody messes with Anets turf.

Well guys Blizzard is revealing their expansion so Anet you need to reveal something big Gamescom is where Anet shines at conventions don’t let Blizzard steal your thunder can’t wait to read the blog post of whats happening.

So theres a blog post does that mean we will learn things I get confused easily.

I’m saying that just because they haven’t given any teasers at the beginning of the week doesn’t mean there will be no info in fact we know they have been doing voice acting so maybe we will get a story blog or maybe hardcore content or a new map the possibilities of what we can learn about are endless and not just stuck with the elite specs.

Really I’m happy if they leave the legendaries and ascended stuff and don’t talk about them there needs to be some mystery to the expansion and the fact that we ain’t getting all the new legendaries straight away makes it pointless to do blogs on every single one.

Seriously look Elite specs are important yes but just because they don’t reveal an elite spec one week doesn’t mean there is no HoT news again there are other things to reveal so no we probably ain’t getting an Elite Spec this week but guess what we could get a new map reveal or maybe hardcore content stop think that they are taking a break from reveals hell even during E3 there was a reveal so don’t use the gamescom will have no reveals both E3 and Rezzed had reveals.

What the expansion will still cost $50 £35 if you are in the UK its basically the deadline for being eligible to refund the 75% offers if you bought the game during that time.

What well it as kept well under wraps then.

Okay seriously if theres a break thats because Anet want to reveal something else about the expansion is that okay with you lot the break doesn’t mean they aren’t going to reveal anything it means they have other things to reveal.

No you need to be elite speced to use the new weapon if you leave the spec you will not be able to use the weapon.

Hopefully something just need to wait and see.

There hasn’t been a trail for at least 2 years to be honest they should have bought the game when it was 75% off its the only way they can try it.

Actually this is a system like the masteries they can add with live updates and not just with expansions the elite specs that is.

Again the whole beta weekend before gamescom release date reveal is a complete theory don’t take it as gossple.

I have a theory that we will have a beta this coming weekend and then a release date at gamescom.

Basically this games version of secondary professions from GW2.

We already know that they will have hands on at Gamescom my point is get a beta out of the way a week before if it goes well give a release date.

Im more thinking they will use Gamescom for the first public hands on of the announced elite specs, and we will get it the weekend after in order to try get more attention to it during the event.

Tough I don’t want skill types changed as it would make the development time longer hence the expansion longer to come out you don’t like the skill types don’t play the elite spec some people do like the skill types.

OR…. they can simply take the elite spec, use the elite weapon, and not use the new utilities. I know that when I spec Reaper on my necro I will still be using Wells, probably CC heal, leaving only 1 utility and an Elite at most being from the new choices.

Why if they put the elite specs in the beta before Gamescom people are still getting hands on nothing changes.

Yes you can elite spec anywhere so weapons will work anywhere as long as you have the elite spec.

I feel they didn’t think it would take this long we all know Anet they don’t reveal things they don’t believe isn’t ready I think with the conventions and LA and the spec stuff as well as the big changes needed it pushes release back I’m worried that they may need to rush the expansion out and fix the bugs afterwards.

Okay I don’t get it. What’s the difference if we get the info quicker? The earlier on we get the info, the more likely it is to change anyway. And getting the info quicker means as the game gets closer, there’s nothing to talk about.

Get it out quicker and you can get to the betas quicker look I wouldn’t be saying this but I fear that they are on a tight deadline look at the tempest elite spec we didn’t get a trailer because the people who do the trailer was working on the expansion I’m just worried that they may need to rush out this expansion to suit NCSoft and lets be fair we don’t want that.

I think they have a deadline now and its this year a beta weekend, then release date and the remaining info such as the revenants underwater weapons/skills, the 5 elite specs and finally hardcore content now my idea would be double up on reveals which works if its 5 maps left have a map and an elite spec and just show the elite spec in the new map just to get the work done quicker because I think if they go a whole year without LS they will have a problem on their hands.

Yeah I think the whole dev team is working on the expansion and sadly I don’t think we will be getting any content I think August is when they hoped for release but that ain’t happening so hopefully with all hands on deck after a beta weekend maybe before gamescom we will get a release date so no content but maybe quicker work this is just speculation though?

I do think players have the brain power to review more than one focused piece of information at a time. Maybe the devs don’t have the resources to monitor feedback on too many things at once?

The New Player Experience say otherwise, they think we can’t figure out most of the things.

The new player experience was focused towards new players coming from other MMOs as GW2 doesn’t use alot of the same things as other MMOs.

Nah if they are planning a release date reveal for gamescom I think we will get a beta the weekend before gamescom.

People keep talking about having a 2 month break. No such thing happened. We got HoT related information most weeks during that time as well.

Yes but remember it needs to be infor they want if its not they think Anet doesn’t care and are taking big breaks.

I think they did have content planned but they needed everyone working on HoT and the content plans went down the drain.

Lets try to remember lots of big systems are going into this expansion.

It seems they are hitting crunch with the fact that every team is working on the expansion now I honestly think that it was meant to be done by now but the changes and complete overhauls pushing it further and further back I suppose if they need to NCSoft will say when to release it or maybe Anet will need to rush it out I hope not but it could happen.

If you main ele playing tempest means you are still maining ele nothing changes same class different name and mechanic and weapon.

No you can’t play outside the jungle for the beta weekends but you dont need to play revenants.

I think we will get a beta weekend next weekend and a release date at gamescom if things go well for the weekend.

Look the elite specs are not the only things people want to hear about okay I dont’t care about the elite specs but I’m not complaining going they aren’t revealing the new maps why because Anet need to reveal other aspects of HoT also they have had conventions to go too which takes time to prepare for to get the awesome stages for the booths.

Imagine this and this is speculation HoT is released on the same week as Blizzcon wouldn’t that be a good thing to do.

I’m sure Gamescom will have a big announcement it is a big convention again we don’t know everything happening at the event they could have stuff planned and not telling us.

No I’m sure from now on all the betas will be for the actual expansion features and in between we will get to test revenant and stronghold while they prepare I kind of like that deal to be honest.

Emm elite specs are not connected to masteries its hero points that unlock them.

ye the skills and traits are, but are the skins you get also through that system? from what i read (and i’m completely possible to be wrong coze my memory isnt that great^^) it seemed as if the skins will be unlocked in a similar way to masteries by playing the elite spec, could be wrong tho , but thats the impression i got :p

I think the new armors will just be drops your class can wear as all classes will still be the same tier of armor such as Rangers are medium so Druids will be medium remember there are no class specific armors all medium classes wear medium armor, all light classes wear light armor and heavy classes wear heavy armor there are no Ranger armors or Ele armors.
