how2 30k with axe 2 pve?
curses II, IV + 100% cond dur= every 6s, 22s of 2 stacks of bleed and 3s of weakness is applied, and depending on your build, a 500-2k aoe crit.
Such terrible crit, crit damage, and armor, oh but the hp makes it ok right?
free cast=instant?
I’d support the Dhuumfire change more if it they moved it out of Spite.

This rune lets you focus on other conditions, not having to worry about confusion from traits (if any o.0) or utilities. It’s a great rune, and I ran it for about a week until I decided to switch my build again.
However.. the duration isn’t that long and requires you to interrupt people to get the full effect. Now that’s not hard to do, but it’s kind of a waste if you have a condition build and there’s better skills to use without interruption.
But as the 2nd and 3rd poster stated.. there’s a multitude of ways to brush off conditions like they were a fly on your shoulder. I also don’t have any thoughts of using this rune anymore now that I use rune of the traveler. Imo it’s burning a hole in the system unless the people that use it are efficient at keeping confusion on the target.. xD

The last trait in necromancer curses has too much cd.. =| Reduce that to 10s or something because I don’t even use it anymore.
Or just remove it entirely and give us something like 33% chance on crit to inflict poison and chill for 1 second with a 5 second cd.
Well sure it’s OP but a rune like that would greatly help condition builds to be on par with zergs.

Chill gives 66% less movement speed and skill cd, but usually it only lasts for 1-3s normally, unless you’re built to Chill right? I was thinking maybe Chill should do something more.
I want to suggest reducing the movement speed and skill cd debuff to 50%, but it’s 3rd effect be 20% increased condition duration while Chill is on the target.
If you don’t like that, how about a new rune to give that effect?
A rune that gives 28 con dmg at rank 1, 4% con dmg rank 2, 50 con dmg rank 3, 5% con dur rank 4, 6% con dmg rank 5, and then rank 6 will be “Increase condition duration by 20% while Chill is on the target”.
Another suggestion I want to make is a trait for Necromancer in Curses, instead of the 2% more damage per condition on the target, make it 50% less Poison damage but allow it to stack damage as well as duration.
The armor that you wear contributes to your total armor. Armor is the stat that reduces damage, not toughness. Toughness is a factor in calculating armor. Just as Precision contributes to your crit chance. Same concept.
“The armor that you wear contributes to your total armor.” This is exactly my point, why not just call the defense on equipment armor? Or call the defense on equipment toughness, and then you can just opt to get more toughness if you’d like with an equipment with “extra” toughness?

I was trying to figure out why my boots gave armor without toughness, but i forgot that equipment gives “defense” and defense goes to toughness.. I had a stupid moment trying to figure it out for like 10 minutes.
In the end though.. I got a bit frustrated about forgetting that armor/equipment gives defense. So Anet and ppls, why do we call it defense but not toughness? or toughness but not armor?
Let’s just keep it simple and stick to 1 word 1 stat. I understand precision and crit chance, that makes sense.
Other than my idiotic moment, I want to suggest increasing condition damage by at least 50%. All classes should be equal, but necromancer gets the s**t end of the stick always. =| Or at least give me back old Life Blast’s damage, so I can do 9-10k again with full berserk gear and 20 stacks of might/vulnerability.
In 80 group pve – necros are second hated class after ranger.
Only because nobody knows how to play a necro properly. I quit my lv80 guardian after seeing what a necro could do.
I tried desperately to make another class, but nothing compared to necro in terms of how fun it is.
I also want to believe it’s the tankiest class, I see so many people dropping when they have like 10+ things chasing them.
I just kite and gain LF with 4 in DS, have pierce on LB, chance to gain LF on crit, and LB grants might. Watch your LF go up 100-400 points every LB when fighting a large group. >;/ Stay in DS 5ever, have 94% crit rate, hit 4k+ every LB while your minions are doing the same if not more damage.
I run a power necro with minion utils, the dps and survivability is great.

I just wish we had an elite well, we already have a heal well and 4 utility wells, why not?
I was thinking something like “grants all boons to allies for 5 seconds each pulse for 10s” on a 180s cd. =D

/support Dual Traits, it’s frustrating when I wanna go back to change my traits every so often because getting bored of current build.
I’ve spent at least 2g so far total in the time I’ve played GW2 on retraiting for above reason.
Yo, love the ideas I too also suggested an increase and change in some of necromancer’s abilities. But unlike this passed off as trash thread, mine didn’t get a single reply. :P Also as “Kitedyou” said, it’s obvious nobody cares about this class. =/
IMO this game’s gonna turn in to another rift, where the warriors were the most oped for the longest of time lol.
Hey how’s it goin, just here to check out other’s ideas for minions. It seems as though any attempt at a suggestion for a MM is just passed off as trash, I tried making one myself last month. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Necromancer-well-build-siphon-and-minions/first#post1092210 As you can see, no replies as well, I just recently looked it up to change a few things however.
I’ll support new minions, not just their sprites.
No not a 90s cd, a 30s cd. =/ No not 4s of fear, 2s of fear is just fine. =/ As for the fear dealing damage trait, I say increase the damage buff to +20% per condition. I say also add to the enfeebling blood trait and make the trait cast fear in an area for 1s putting just the fear on a 45s cd.

I actually agree with this. I’ve played Rift for the last year and a bit and I’ve been spoiled by their patch notes. I would love to see Anet do something similar.
IMO RIFT has the best patch notes of all games, very informative, tells you everything that went down during maint pretty much, and it always made me feel happy to read them.
^ I changed my dodgeroll to my F key and my F is now V, disabled double tap as well.
^Sounds like a good legit idea, I also noticed in CoF that backpacks drop now from chests, which made me happy I got a prec cond tough back accessory, and my necromancer is using that build. ^^
In addition to the OP, chests in general, especially dragon chests, should feel more rewarding. I’m getting 3-4 blues, rarely greens and rares.. why should I do dungeons if all I get is 1-2s worth of items from a chest 90% of the time? >:
If minis actually do ANYTHING beneficial, I would totally support this.
I’ve been running a well build for a while and there’s only 2 flaws I absolutely hate that I’ve had people agree with me on.
Wells don’t cool down fast enough, and the protection duration isn’t long enough.
What I wanna suggest is a 5% increase in the trait “Ritual Mastery” , reduce the base cd of wells by 5s, and increase the protection duration of the trait “Ritual of Protection” by 1s.
As for siphon, the only thing I’d like to see, is it receive at least 5% bonus from healing power, and 20% bonus from power.
Lastly, for minions, remove the trait “Necromantic Corruption” and replace it with a trait that makes you take 30% of the damage the minions would have taken and give minions 1 stack of might for 10s. Let’s call it “Sacrificial Empower” for now.
Change the trait “Protection of the Horde” to give you 40 toughness up from 20, and give 25 precision per minion.
Change the trait “Flesh of the Master” and make minions receive 25% of your stats, because of the name, I would expect it to have something to do with the master of the minions.
Add to the trait “Minion Master” 10% increased health for you and minions, increase the “Death Nova” trait to 5s and give minion attacks 1stack of bleeding for 1s.

I don’t see this on the OP - Purging Flames does not have its duration increased by Master of Consecrations.
Remember you should not trust tooltips as they are mostly bugged, did you verify the actual duration or just based on tooltip?
To me, imo, it felt a tad longer. I’ll go take a look again.
Thanks again. Like I told Necro players this is very helpful. There are 600 traits and about 800 skills, some are bound to break. We will look at this stuff ASAP. Reminder, fixes take a few days, then we need to test them for a week or so.
