It was one of RoF’s community nights.. normally they consist of people singing and bantering in the TS nothing ever serious happens there, the fact your getting upset by it makes it worst and of course RoF is a bunch of forum fighters.. its our weekly fishing competition to see who can get the biggest bite and congratulations of [aTs] for catching themselves a umadshark winners of this week and 500g

Its funny that people hide the fact that they don’t care about the rewards, I’ve had 3 or 4 guilds from RoS all moan at me because I won’t GvG them since I’ve already got 2 lined up.. if they were really their for the fights/GvG’s maybe the guilds shouldn’t of all gone to 1 server so they could actually fight each other.

Spying in the bronze league? O.o

Any Guild group that came here would be the first new guild group to ever transfer to RoF, I don’t know how to react. :S

Some decent fights tonight hunted TasH down all night, but seriously what is with building the AC’s all the time open field… kinda lame considering we were even numbers.

we (as in [TasH]) are a guild that is used to running about 10 people, we’ve been forced to expand rapidly to deal with these ridiculous match-ups, meaning most of our members are very new to organized wvw. this is why we’re reluctant to charge at guild teams, at least until we can re-establish a solid core.

as for the siege, it saddens me how often i have to say it but; siege is a part of wvw, there is no reason not to use every advantage you can. you can get open and fair fights in spvp.

and a side note, it’s always funny how people in /t overestimate numbers

We can get open and fair fights in SPvP but that wouldn’t be 20 VS 20 now would it :P I would also like to take this time to apologize for spawn camping you for about 20 minutes /crying because you built siege we were bored and you’re honestly the best fights we found so far hence why we continually hopped border to hunt you down

As for the 30+ in vale you had a large group of randoms that got killed off as you retreated in the camp the random group was at least 15 so that’s why I called it, and hey they acted as a great distraction at the gate so we could bomb your AC’s down

Loving this match-up thread already after all these national servers we’ve been dumped with the past weeks. Like the video Billa though I must say I’m slightly dissapointed in the lack of Pink! It was Pink day after all!

Is that Gunnars Hold excuse right now against Piken? if you knew anything about RoF you’d know we kept all 3 waypoints on our map last week against Fort Ranik dova/EO 80-100 man blob for 3-4 nights straight no need to be so bitter towards us just because we don’t need to go where the bandwagon goes we have fun fights on RoF, my guild and im pretty sure the likes of TaG and AZZL etc couldn’t care less about the PPT all this matchup does for us is allow us to train new Pugs and show them why we love WvW which every server should do rather than just blob up 1 server with as many guilds as possible :P

Thanks and good luck to you guys aswell though Ring of Fire has never had a guild join us before and I doubt it will happen anytime soon unfortunately. By the looks of it we wont be seeing you in the bronze league now Drakkar has had a U-turn they still outnumber us mind haha, but then again that’s nothing new. As for the “dead” servers we’ll be doing a server wide Asuraball league for a giant prize fund… In all seriousness though best of luck to Far Shiverpeaks had lots of fun fighting you guys up until you only had garri left to cap and you was on all sides xD,

6 weeks in a row we’ve had matchups that involve a server 5+ ranks above us.. oh and don’t forget to mention we have no queues on any borderlands including EB! :P

Well the system used to match the servers to the closest rank opponents it could, to create the most balanced matchups – people weren’t happy with facing the same servers repeatedly regardless of how balanced it was… complaining ensued, ANet changed the system. Now blowouts are more common but hey, at least it’s different opponents right?

Just gotta make the best of your matchups I’m afraid Krosan, the loud minority will always manage to suggest a new alternative that’ll be poorly thought out – then you can fight Vizunah

Fighting Vizunah wouldn’t make any difference to us always outnumbered always get blobbed against its just the way it is oh well no queues ever and for the past 10 weeks Ive not had to pay one armor repair

Typical Dzagonur outnumbering us 3 to 1 and scared to get out of Stonemist for an open field fight haha :P

1. If this is a proof of famous AG blobs you are talking about, you haven’t seen nothing in WvW yet. What do you expect? 5man groups trying to take your keep? You need quite a lot of supps to go through the 2 keep’s gates ;-) Printscreen of maybe 30-35 players stacked on narrow road in front of your gate is really a hard evidence of our “blobing”. lol
2. I was there when our commanders partialy cleaned the lord’s room from some of our golems we had inside (because there was no room for anything elese.). They were built for fun and they were lost just for fun too. I was there so I know what I am talking about. We had an info that RoF group is near umber and heading in our direction. We dind’t care too much. We just wanted to have some fun. However, Yes I Cap, I was there and I was there for another 10-15 minutes after your “famous golem destruction”. I didn’t see any masacre of AG group. If I remember correctly, after this famous “golem” fight, we still tried to take your keep for some time. So, tell me, how can downed and dead players try to siege your keep? ;-)
I left EB just after this unsuccesfull sieging of your keep. So I do not know what happened next. But I can agree with you that it was fun. Btw, aren’t you fishing? Usually people who are fishing are not very acurrate with estimations :-)

Haha I wasn’t trying to make it sound like you guys were bad if anything I’m presuming most of your EB zerg is coming to WvW for the week from PvE while you’re winning because they are very unorganised and we found a lot upscaled with magic find food on we’ve got the fight between sm and our keep on fraps so you’ll be able to see that soon but its not like you guys tried I mean most of your zerg ran towards valley without the golems only a small bunch maybe 15 ish tried protecting the golems and as for “So, tell me, how can downed and dead players try to siege your keep?” well simple you kept waypointing to SM and coming back which I why I said farming.. no disrespect but I don’t know what else to call it :P

Great fun on EB today AG zerg 20+ golems rushing our keep early in the afternoon wiped by our 20 man borderlands hopping crew we were all laughing at the fact you guys had more golems than we did people luckily you didn’t seem very organised at the time managed to run around you and wipe the people protecting you then focus you guys in the golems.. then Farming at the bridge in durios fighting 40+ ag with our 30 man team until our former friend Chris from NP turned up with 40 more great fights at the keep constant fights your numbers were just too overwhelming in the end all I can say is GG at valley

Fake FIRE? that’s what we’ve called you ever since we first saw you on GH 3 servers we find you on now wonder what the next one will be :O

and TUP it was my guild that came to AG BL on reset from RoF but we had 18 people and we couldn’t find a fight where we didn’t have skill lag maybe you guys are a lot more used to it or something but we didn’t like it though so we changed BL, sad to say the fights didn’t improve.. never the less you guys were awesome ambushing us time after time we only ever caught you coming from behind us the last time but there was a big 50 DL zerg in front of us so all you guys were doing was grabbing the loot bags off us before they did.. I hope you got some Steel chests from us at least

I’m laughing so hard at AG saying “we only had 40” if we had 40 people in one zerg everyone would think a new guild would have transferred over (which never happens for us) and really? Why are you feeling sorry for us? You play like this every week with skill lag and queues Look at servers like us, GH, RoS, Dzagonur and WSR we all run around and small scale groups with no lag no blob just epic fighting no group bigger than 25 normally including primetime there is a reason we stay on these servers

I want to congrats Ring of Golems with their successful Bay recap on their own BL, I see lots of improvements, it only cost you 13 golems, yesterday you assaulted our border all day long and and wasted atleast 50 golems I think (not much of a waste since they sit at 15s each but hey o.o).

I don’t know about the second time, maybe I logged at this point.. but the first time we retook it we saw the camp was blue and figured the guys that took it would have taken out the trebs.. so you can imagine the look on my face when you started trebbing right as we killed the claimer haha

Great Reset! So glad we finally got a decent matchup within our tier range.. Dzag seem a bit more blobby than I remember but their loot is as good as anyone elses, good to see BNF at the south towers on rof away from the blobby ness though… Nice fights with RiOT + DeX zerg in RoS BL after new build but in the end you brought way too many people for us to handle ;D hope to continue the good fights throughout the week.

Ohhh how Gandara have changed.. TDA we was waiting in camp for a fight with you and then you bring this… how dissapointing

Another week of fighting over RoF BL and no-where else haha cant find any small 15 man guild groups? just big 30-40 man groups of randoms FIRE are already bored of this week but no doubt anet will throw us back into T9 after gaining even more rating causing us to lose even more of our very small wvw population so make the most of this action while it lasts I guess

Anet don’t like RoF they do everything they can to make us the third t9 server and at the rate we’re losing players cause of this kitten matchups it seems like its working..

If we’re not fighting servers 5-6 ranks below us we’re fighting servers 9 ranks above us.. GG A-net oh well at least we get some fights here (talking about gandara) the giant 80+ DL blob on rof border sees our 15 man guild group and instantly stop sieging to chase us half way round the map to which we cant even use any skills to get swiftness or stealth.. so much skill lag hope to avoid the german skill 1 spamming zerg and hopefully get some good fights with Gandara like last time

Wow you RiOT guys are pulling out every excuse in the book as to why you’re not “steamrolling” us FIRE and AZZL have been on rof since day -3 for your information and as for FIRE we rarely pull even 15 people we aim just to annoy zergs as I recall building an ac with 5 people causing 30 RiOT to storm it while the other 5 destroyed the treb was pretty funny.. (awaiting excuse for this one) sorry. for saying RiOT actually just a few of your guys making you look like whiners why cant you be more like VcY and just have fun with what you got

Had a great time defending Hills in RoS border we wanted to upgrade it but NOM wouldn’t give us any free time had to keep fighting you we held out long enough until the RoS blob came from the other side.. good fights so far between RoF and RoS hope it continues throughout the week

Having fun so far this week in RoF vs WSR vs RiOT+VcY tried getting you back for your 3 keep attack today but only managed to get hills since the RiOT guys reacted pretty quick and what was happening in our border today with you guys we cap things back then see orange swords in the water with about 4 golems and a 30 man zerg fighting krait.. way to go

its sad seeing all these changes, although GH won both weeks we fought you (the second week by a lot because of [Krew] and their nightcapping) At primetime across all borderlands there was epic fights no, one server was better than the other it was literally the perfect matchup. then of course free transfers ruined this as RoS got the influx of t1 guilds. so all I can say is I for one will be hoping to meet you two servers in the same matchup in the future!

Shout out to you guys for actually staying loyal to your servers after all this time and hearing about your low wvw ranks etc :/

Had Great fun is WSR BL tonight with about 10 of us, fairly quiet only about 10 of you guys on your map managed to sneak hills in after wiping your zerg forcing you to rush to bay after AS showed up and managed to hold and farm from both greenlake and hills until you had about 30-40 people show up haha. Hope to see more of this tomorrow oh and if any guilds from arborstone or whiteside are interested in GvG pm Cap Plox in game see if we cant sort something out.
