Why is this bad? Because I’m already at a disadvantage in WvW due to only having rare gear. There’s a 14% increase in ascended armor over exotic already, and we know that there’s going to be legendary gear now as well, which will probably add another 14%. As it is, I will be almost 50% behind in stats compared to the high end grinder players. As I enjoy playing my game to play it instead of grinding, I don’t know when I’ll get exotic gear, especially with the sudden price increases on ecto (14s at Halloween to 24s now, and still going) at this rate I’m going to never get even a single legendary weapon.
Thinking about it, legendary items will have the same crappy ridiculous requirements to get, so getting a full set of legendary weapons/gear will really make game a grind. I spent less time playing GW1 and got further ahead in it than I have in this game. Say hello to the newest Korean MMO.

That said, yea the loot seemed pretty … non-exciting. Also a bit weird passion fruit can’t be stored in the crafting materials.
I’m not, the only real way I’ve even gotten good rares is crafting everything I have. :/
I’ve played 700 hours and never had an exotic drop (nor a black lion key) and only rares on the odd occasion. Loot is terrible no matter what.

One of our group members used the guardian elite (summone tome of something) while holding the hammer, this caused it to go bye bye for good as well.

It’s “fixed” but the cooldown reduction is bugged now.
They just fixed trap cooldowns, however they broke the 20% cooldown reduction trait.

I just tested this in sPvP. Yes, aggro is broken. My bear used to tank the mobs in the forest map, now they just ignore him and go strait for me.
Then find someone who isn’t a bag and do it for free.

I was playing my necro yesterday with my double dagger set, melee a enemy when suddenly they got invulnerable because they happened to be on a slight incline compared to me (a hill). Yeah….. AN this “feature” has to go. :/
Yeah, rangers are kitten awful and everyone knows it.
The invulnerable spots around the citadel are that, part of the ring of invulnerability there. If someone’s standing in it, don’t be an idiot and try killing them.
Its fun to troll idiots while standing there if your server is being spawn camped in WvW.
It’s about the same as leading them into your legendary defenders to be face punched.

No. Poison and burn used to stack in GW1 as well as bleeds. This needs to be brought back, as it completely negates the use of bringing more than one of both skills into any fight, as what’s the point of adding additional burn/poison when all it does is up the timer a bit more. And if someone else is doing more damage with their build than yours, well you’re just a useless accessory now.
In PvP it’s even worse, while you can through conditions on people, they usually can just ignore them because they don’t do enough damage fast enough to take them down before they get you. The whole point of conditions is endurance, time based combat where you outlast your opponent. As it is they don’t do enough damage to warrant this gameplay.

To get people to do the invasion events requires a bit of coordination in the chat. You can’t just expect them to organically happen anymore, you have to recruit. :/
I’m pretty sure that FAs turn around doesn’t have as much to do with transfers as it has to do with YB having a higher WvW population that has to do stuff during the weekdays that keeps them away from the game, as the turn around didn’t begin till Monday.
It’s a completely legitimate strategy to knock people off cliffs to kill them and should be rewarded.

It’s a bug. If you’re using ranged weapons you’re pretty screwed. Melee can just spam their #1 skill a few times and it will break the roots.
You can’t target roots with ranged weapons.

They deliberately put traps in the wrong place to screw us up.
Traps can benefit from crit damage, but only on the pulses so yeah. Traps make much more sense in the survival line, as a person using traps should be trying to outlast an opponent with conditions on him.

I think a large part of it might be that there’s no school today in the US, so a lot of people who would be in class right now are online.

A ele with ice bow is essential for AC exp runs.
Defintely better without the orbs. Now I can blame my own skill rather than some buff for outcomes.
But yeah, objective wise, they need to come back. Make them generate the outmanned buff type thing, and make the current outmanned buff be the triple orb bonus. The way it always should have been.

whiran, defend with a ballista. Get a few people out there whacking away to get people standing still and suddenly loot bags will start popping up around you like christmas.
Yeah though, it’s completely lopsided how you get bags. Fighting people up close usually nets none, using siege weapons to kill, gets you a lot.
Yeah, I run a similar build to that and have very good success as a support ele with a staff. Almost never die if I’m careful and rack up kills fairly easily.
Yes, that’s exactly what I mean. Would be nice for you to be able to chat with mutual friends so that you can quickly set up parties.
What I don’t understand is, why can’t AN add a simple balance check into the WvW, that would clear up all these numbers names calling threads.

No reason, YB is winning and that’s all. Wish there was some sort of gold/silver chest everyone on the server gets for WvW, such as tournament sPvP play.

My main annoyance with tornado is that you suddenly become a giant target and die very quickly. :/
Badges come best when you use ballistas to wipe someone out. The more damage you do the more likely you’ll get a drop.
Plus doing the jump puzzles every day can reward you up to 24 badges a day. Much quicker than actually fighting. :/
Actually I’ve never killed anyone trebbing walls, why? Because most people aren’t stupid enough to stand on the wall I’m trebbing long enough to bite it.
Where’s the reward for people manning the siege engines? I mean they spend 3 hours waking a wall to boredom come and what do they get, nothing! It’s not easy dedicating that amount of time to taking down a reinforced keep, they really need some reward.
Sounds like fun, better than the crap skills we have now.
There needs to be more incentive for people to stick around and protect objectives, here is my proposition in that direction.
The “Defend the fort/camp/whatever” event should always be an ongoing thing. As long as a person is in the area for a majority of the time, 3/4ish, they will get bronze level achievement. Every 5 minutes or so it will reset and start again. This will encourage people to stay and guard forts. Then again, a person could just park their AFK tush in the objective and try to farm, so yeah, I don’t know how to get around that.
Also a person who escorts a dolyak, even if that dolyak isn’t attacked the whole way to the objective should be rewarded as well.
Anyways, as it is there’s no real incentive for people to defend objectives as it’s more profitable to let the enemy come along and take it, then you retake it later. (Speaking more about supply camps and such, not forts and greater).
