A week ago I played a level 9 Fractal with the minidungeon Uncategorized Fractal with 2 Guildmates and 2 pugs and in the boss fight against the security golem I forgot that I can enter trough the teleporting stuff near the entrance to the boss and I stayed out of the fight because I taught I was stuck there until the boss was killed or my group died it seems they died I watched the entire fight and I did not knew why they died but the next try with me there we won and I realised the reason we won was because I was there to take some damage from my group. And the gorup was like this Warrior, elementalist, guardian, necromancer, warrior.
Did any of had a event that made you understand the importance of a full group or you just used logic and knew?
So this Abbadon from what I understood was the one responsible for the event in GW 2 until the last expansion but why did he did that and is true that he was not one of the original human gods?
Tell me of 10 very good story driven games that had no dragons and were played by millions and then you will see my point and why do we stick with dragons so badly.
^Do you not mean Tyria?
Did the humans knew that existed other sentient society building races besides theirs? And if they did why they were so unprerpared.
What no I mean the dragon champion from part 2 of the personal story. Why did you though Zhaitan?
Was Glint really a champion of a elder dragon? I mean she had connections with the human gods made a prophecy lived in a sand grain created by her those are kind of feats that make me doubt she was a champion of a elder god since you know just a couple of weeks ago be beat one 1 vs 1 and he was not that impressive.
Was the White Mantle evil?
This raises another question what happened to those guilds that fought in the Guild Wars that started it and that directed it for which they were responsible?
^Good point very good point it was a good strategy on paper but the truth is that is why they were stopped in their expansion on paper they had to win in truth they lost so much.
^I never said they lost to Kryta I said they did not won because of bad decisions to attack all 3 nations. Better said they lost because they did not completely win if you get my point.
edit:Still 200 hundred years of status quo that is the thing I wanna say and its because they lost to much attacking all the nations at the same time.
(edited by adormtil.1605)
The strange part is I really taught that the first game is a game that started with the first guild war until the charr invasion like a living story because of the name Guild Wars.
Still they kinda lost I mean 200 years later and they did not even set foot in LA after they were repelled as army and now with the new capital way further and so in land that chance is gone. But that is not the point the point is that they lost to much with this ventures after all armies after armies were wiped out you see the mongols at the time of Ghengis Khan needed one defeat and goodbye empire but it did not happen the charr had so much potential to take the world if they focused all their armies at one enemy at a time but they did not and there still there after 200 years there not taking all of Ascalon.
At the end of the third guild war who was the strongest human nation?
(edited by adormtil.1605)
^I meant when Kryta pushed them out of their territory having a war not on your own turf is a victory to me.
^Was not the Ascalon incident were all have been made ghosts was after Kryta and Orr defeated the charr?
When they attacked Ascalon did they overextend their forces by attacking Kryta and Orr before they secured all of Ascalon? I mean they lost the war with those nations and had terrible terrible losses and they did not took the all of Ascalon until this day and that is because those defeats have broken the moral and faith in their leaders and gods resulting in the following civil war defeat of their leaders and more. What do you think if they focused on Ascalon would they have been way stronger now?
The Charr have a bigger territory then any of the races and while I have no definite proof its seems the blood legion and ash legion territory is safe since their imperators are actually all in the Black Citadel you would thing that if their territory is in danger they would have been at there.
Strictly speaking, if you added everything up, charr are probably the strongest – but they have no spare capacity for foreign adventures (while, apparently, Kryta has at least some) and do not seem to have significantly improved their security situation since the truce (while Kryta does seem to have). Certainly, any advantage they do have is not decisive.
Its probably the case that humans are closer to Dry Top then the charr I do not know why didn’t the Sylvari sent a expedition there but they have 20 years as a race with most like under 10 years of age. And the Azura still send an expedition well the Inquest part but they did.
^This the burden of the strong for example The Roman empire during Trajan was the strongest empire in the world defeating its long hated rival the Parthian Empire but that was its peak and during that time it had huge rebellion that were supressed but even at its peak it had problems a lot of them. Now the charr had their peak when they defeated Ascalon and were a huge treat for all human kingdoms but even then they lost 1/4 of their army if not more they lost in Orr and Kryta and then they lost their shamans their gods their magic using warriors and their expansion was halted and now after 200 years ago after all those losses they have most of their territory safe from what we know they are very close to get rid of the ghosts their biggest enemies.
Now for example the Norn lost their land they lost a battle against Jormag a great hit to their pride and they are more or less in a civil war. The humans are fighting the centaurs very close to Divinity’s Reach their own capital, the Azura are well in a civil war and so competitive with each other and very corrupt the thing that makes them not as strong as the charr is that they are not very keen on the millitary. And the Sylvari well the thing is with them is that they have less numbers then the other major races but give another 20 years and they will be the strongest.
Well the charr are still the strongest race and nation as they have the most powerful millitary the second most advance technology and the race that was hit the less from the elder dragons power.
^How long does a charr lives?
^Can you report people for that?
after 17-00 is peak hours right?
I am in a guild but on this day there were no people who wanted to do it but who knows maybe tomorrow maybe.
^1 hour and a half.
So I announced in LFG that I wanna make a party for CoF path 3 since I wanna finish it to get close to the dungeon master title and I asked for at least 1 player who knows the dungeon and then after some waiting I noticed that is unreasonable but i noticed that nobody wants to enter for path 3 even if I said all are welcome so what should I put in LFG to make it more attractive so people join.
what did you have now and you did not have then that you can make more gold?
Can I add something to that well whirlwind and dash and for the rest everything you said.
Ironically the bottom classes are the two which many people claim to be really good for open world solos (pet AI is most likely the culprit). I can tell you from experience they are fine in open world but not better.
You see the best part of ranger and probably necromancer is that you can do other things while playing like watching a movie you do not need 50% attention on the game with them at least with ranger.
A Norn’s beverage of choice might be alcohol, but that doesn’t mean they’re drunk 24/7.
It’s been stated lorewise in gw1 that a single Norn can takedown a Charr warband. This might have changed a bit in the last 250 years, but the general rule is still 1v1 is heavily in the Norn’s favor, while any sort of organized combat will go to the Charr.
Think about it being drunk that big of a disadvantage? Many on this forum have probably been drunk in their life and they could tell you that you have a bigger resistance to pain in that state and you are quite unpredictable but to be fair you have a bad balance when you are drunk. to bad its a work day or else I would have checked it to say for sure:).

Kalavier:
Pretty much all your points are regarding to the typical asura. It’s been conceded long ago that the typical norn is probably stronger than the typical… well, ANY of the playable races. (Which is balanced, on a strategic level, by their inability to organise.) An asura who becomes a warrior is not a typical asura to begin with – the point is that at the top end (you know, around the level of PCs and other powerful heroes such as Destiny’s Edge) an asura could be a match for a norn, due to having developed a fighting style that employs the advantages of their small size, augmenting their physical strength through various means, and so on.
Regarding asura arguing: Asura are certainly the next most disorganised race, but asura are still used to working in krewes and larger groups while the fundamental unit for norn is a single norn, and as ineffective as the Arcane Council can be, that they have an overall governing body at ALL is a big step up from the norn. Knut went to the summit because he’s the closest the norn have, but in terms of actual authority, it wouldn’t be too unfair to compare him to a glorified innkeeper.
I really do not get you all there was a event in a book were a charr beat the crap out of a drunk Norn which is a normal thing for a Norn to be so why do all of you people still say that a Norn is stronger and is not a a thing that proved that they are not the strongest race.
^Okay I understand why you are mad you are not rewarded for your hard work but its a game and to be honest I am one of those guys who killed Telquat and did not know a thing I did not got the hoard but you see this is a great thing about this game you do not have to be great and put a lot of effort to be rewarded its not real life(I do not wanna do a lot of work in a game after a lot of work in real life) its a great system were you reward casual and its good because casual is what most of the players are and its nothing wrong with that. Do other things GW 2 has to offer like puzzles nobody does them it seems and their hard to finish because you need a group, try to solo Arah fight a champion 1vs1 and see if you can win kitten the precursors, reward yourself by doing feats other do not.

While I can agree with some of the damage of 100 blades being shifted to the last strike I don’t think warrior greatsword damage was what most people complained about.
Really the problem had by most people with warrior greatsword was the fact that whirlwind & rush could be abused to run away from the fight. This effectively allowed warriors to run away from fights using the same tools they got into them with.
It also kind of counters the idea of warriors being strong front line fighters that get into a fight & finish it.
What your left with when you see a warrior using a greatsword is the thought “oh great he is going to run away like a wanabe thief the second things don’t go his way.”
Finally someone understands well sort of I like whirlwind it was like a third dodge to me actually I could not care less about the other changes(except for the fact that they made the riffle worse) but this I just taught it was a mistake and he used something eIse I asked if it was true but nobody answered but this proves that what I saw was correct. You see I loved my tactic with it and because everybody wants balance and loves pvp and WvW(there is LoL and tens of other simillar games if you want that) they had to remove it and make it less fun and awsome because of balance kitten your balance.
Simple Ranger is the best you can watch a movie, chat with your friends and make up with your lover while completing a map or a story or a dungeon well some of them killing any world boss that is not Telquat and do every PVE thing you want. Of course you need a laptop for that but its true.
Well you know the existence in that game of Jotuns, Ogres, Giant who are very simillar to Nords but the existence in that game of plant like creatures very simillar to Sylvary and a Elder Dragon that threatens to destroy the world and it was not the first time he was around doing that.
(edited by adormtil.1605)
No no not because you are not right is because you will remove the only fun thing and great about the warrior and it was probably made less fun if whirlwing attack is not in a dash.
Who cares about that in the end I do not have much use for adrenaline and charges very fast and I use mostly greatsword and rifle but I need a explication and to say a problem can I still use whirlwind attack like a or better said the third greatsword skill like a dash and second why did you made rifle useless I use it when 80% of the time I need to dodge and the rest to damage and its very useful thanks to the bleed condition now its useless and I have to find another tactic with another range weapon.
So a great deal of lore probably most of it comes from the first game but I did not play it and because of lack of time and will I am gonna not play it.
1.So I wanna understand a couple of things first the hero in the first game did he existed in lore or not?
2.The White Mantle guild was the leader of Kryta before the start of the first game and you all found out the history of the nation from books?
3.Was Ascalon mostly destroyed and you begin in the aftermath?
4.Was there a bigger area presented then in the first game?
5.Were the Charr presented in legions as in the second game?
6.Were there dragons in the first game?
7.Were the playable races besides the Sylvari presented and with a hint of their culture?
8.I read on the wikia that there were a lot of Guild Wars before the charr invaded did the game started with the first war and they are more fleshed out then are in the wikia?
9.Are there devils and angels in the Guild Wars universe and did you met some in the first game?
10.In the second game you do not meet the races that fought the elder dragons previously with the exception of Etins but did you met them in the first game and do you know more about them?
11.Was it known about the existence of elder dragons 200 years ago in Guild Wars lore and at the end of the first game?
12. Now this is possibly a very stupid question but are Kingdom of Ammalur lore and Guild Wars lore connected or the same?
Thank you if you answer or read.:)
Also why are 45 caracters allowed only for the title?
