So what the bionics basically trapped the dragon champion together with us that is not really much of a help mostly just stopped his way of escaping so the PC can finish him. The same thing at the World Summit stopped his way of escaping.
They just gave us the chance of a 1 vs 1. You also forget that now he can basically counter the magic of a dragon you know the thing that we just learned to basically redirect magic.
True Primordius is probably stronger then both dragons combined considering he is the first who awoken but you also forget that while the pact is very weakened the Commander of the Pact is way way way stronger then when he started. You might not believe me but he is a as strong as a dragon champion a top tier one. Actually right now in my opinion he is stronger then any of his new guild and stronger then any of Destiny’s Edge with the possible exception of Rytlock and I think the hero is still stronger then him but not 100% sure and that is because Rytlock uses a unknown type of magic that you can not really counter for now.
That the gameplay and lore segregation for this game is not that strong actually its quite weak with npc commenting on our actual moves like hitting the door or using or gliders.
Maybe its just me but GW2 seems to have the best synergy between gameplay and lore of all MMO with the possible exception GW1.
What do you think?
Why was Primordius inactive did he not woke up quite a while before the other elder dragons?
Also what did he do while inactive not sleep since he woke up so what?
Well everything is good and all and the Mursaat became a god of sort but the biggest danger is of course Primordius the White Mantle is nothing compared to Primordius nothing he is the strongest dragon there is he is the first to awaken and the best feed among them.
And the commander just gets stronger and stronger with more obscure skills and magic under his belt. One day we will take a dragon 1 vs 1.
Also their kinda well defeated so with what can they attack DR?
Well there not all bad for example Taimi is a character I remember if you ask me to name any of the companions of Pillars of Eternity that I played for who knows how many hours I do not know. I even praised how good the story and characters are but now thinking about it not remembering their names means that it was a short lived good thing. Like when you eat french fire or chips or ice cream do you think the memory of those things made it memorable no it did not. But Taimi is something memorable I do not know why but the fact that I know her name it does.
Snakes have been observed to be able to kill lions or tigers. (a few years ago an Indian Cobra killed a rare white tiger even!)
Does this imply that a creature able to kill that snake is also stronger than the tiger?
That’s a fallacy.
What of course it is its like rock, paper, scisors. For example a mongoose can kill a cobra, but a tiger will die of a cobra while he can kill the mongoose. But there are animals that beat both the cobra and the tiger like the african badger and yes I know the african badger does not live in the same area as the tiger and the specie of cobra you where speaking about. But you get the point he will beat both he will kill the cobra and will castrate the tiger and kill him. Yes they did that on lions.
So is the hero the strongest non deity/elder dragon and champion creature the answer is maybe but the question was about non playable characters and the answer is Rytlock is the strongest.
I don’t really care if they’re the best picks for their job- after all, our character’s only real qualification is being very, very good at killing things, which isn’t sufficient to earn the shot-calling position we find ourselves in. What can really get my goat is the lack of stake the biconics have. Just in HoT- Canach, Rytlock, Taimi, and when she joined, Caithe all had good reasons to be with us. No problem there. But the others were either tag-alongs (Kasmeer and Rox) or out for a revenge they showed a suspicious disinclination to pursue (Marjory and Braham). S2 was even worse, and S1… yes, it’s getting better, but they’ve still got a ways to go before it feels like a group that would believably be out doing what we do.
Well the considering what our objective is the PC is the best for the job so we have to kill elder dragons who is the best for the job the best killed that ever lived. Leave the jobs to the professionals and there is no better professional then the PC. The rest help us do what we do best what if we had a huge gorge between us as the thing that block us towards what we need to kill how can we reach it without Kasmeer. What if we have some very complicated seer or asura trap or door we need Taimi to get passed it. The rest do not have their point maybe as meat shields we sometimes need meat shields.
Yeah it should not be the PC he is better as the sword of the order then as the leader even if he is for now the leader of the pact.
You can not keep such a powerful individual behind enemy lines he is meant to be the Vanguard or the sword of the pact that opens the path for the order and well gives the finishing blows to its enemies.
In real life terms he is the Patton of the pact.
They’re just kind-of-stronger-than-everyone-else people that happened to be at the right place when some important world changing events happened. Then decided to stick around to find more events. Just like the PC, whose only real claim to fame is being a murder machine. Which apparently is all you need to qualify for 2nd in command in one of the largest forces in Tyria.
Like Darth Vader.
Okay the strongest character besides gods and elder dragons right. Well lets see I would have said Telquat but probably he became a elder dragon after Zaitan died. So besides him and you did said GW 2 universe so characters from GW1 that died do not get calculated.
So the spirit beasts of the norn are quite powerful as they managed to keep a elder dragon busy for some time. I do not know which of the beats is stronger but one of them is.
So besides them I am pretty sure the dragon champion of Mordre that attacked us in season 2 was the strongest champion besides Telquat that we ever meet.
And besides dragon champion or divine beasts the strongest is Rytlock just the fact that he survived such a long time in the mist alone speaks volumes of him he has powers no one else has and has a very very powerful sword.
If the elder dragons are the immune system of Tyria it seems the races on Tyria especially the five ones are the germs that became to strong for the immune system to handle them. It happened because Glint saved a lot of the previous ones and gave them time to adapt and gain knowledge that was later taken by the new races.
The new races became so strong now that there some individuals that can fight a champion of a Elder Dragon and win and I mean individuals.
So will there be a new leader for the pact? For now the hero is still the leader as the second in command and with Traherne dead well he is now the commander of that pact and the highest in rank.
If there will be who is gonna be that leader who do you think?
On another topic when will the next living world ubdate will be?
But Rata Sum does not seem to have a lot of meat production facilities while Kryta does have a number. Lion’s Arch is more of a city state but it does have a number not a tone but it has my question is why not Kryta as they have the biggest market for meat among all besides Charr.
Also I really hate when gameplay is showing the minimum about the Lore. At least they have something in other games gameplay and lore are parallel universes that have no conection.
Well there is you go outside of map you make useless some reduce falling skills and jumping puzzles are easier but its not all that worth it for gliding outside the HOT map?
Cannons have to deploy. Against a rapidly moving enemy force like the Centaurs, convoys to move cannons around would possibly miss battles. Way I’ve heard it, it was actually crossbows that brought the decline of archers (because it was easier to use/train).
Cannons are neat, but remember, we don’t see everything. Given how Anet at one point said Charr rifles, Norn Rifles, and Human rifles were similar to three types of early RL firearm, it’s kinda silly to assume the Seraph don’t have some sort of rifle in production.
Not really my proof the absence of riffles I see no riffles so I assume that nothing in production.
What better proof is then what I see.
Now I mean cannons as means of defense better said cannons on walls so they slaughter every army that tries to take a walled outpost or city that way they would not have been in such a situation.
Anyway the charr seem to be the only race that knows how to make canons and rifles and I think it was said in the game.
Yeah but its not only about riffles its about cannons as they brought a significant decrease in the number of archers in our own history.
Should the Seraph not use more cannons way more cannons. I mean really the benefits are huge think how the centaurs would be slaughtered if the Seprah had cannons.
This is the strange part they do not have cannons. I get the norn or even the sylvari as they are a new race with barely a army. But humans I can not. Asura have so yeah.
So why do I say this well the charr do not seem to trade weapons for meat as the humans are the best market for that.
(edited by adormtil.1605)
And they really dead?
Well I actually mean the Seraph army they use bows in the age of canons and riffles they use bows. You get what I mean that the people who need guns do not have guns?
It’s not really an “age of cannons and rifles”. Do remember that lore-wise, we are talking the equivalent to EARLY firearms from the real world.
Bows and Arrows are, in general, slightly easier to make and supply then rifles. :P.
I always thought it was more like the age of Louis the XIV. And there was lot of cannons and riffles used back then mostly cannons but you get the point they did not used bows and arrows.
Well I actually mean the Seraph army they use bows in the age of canons and riffles they use bows. You get what I mean that the people who need guns do not have guns?
I do not know about exporting guns Kryta has a very very low amount of guns. So do the norn but they do not have lot to offer to the charr in exchange since they are mostly hunters and they need to feed themselves first. But Kryta has.
Yeah I really wish it would be put in the entire game.
Was it unknown that you had to destroy the soul vessel of a lich to actually kill her during the events of GW1?
Again their omnivores and can live on not meat but they need meet to be as strong as they could be.
People like the one with the rant keep this forum alive. Praise to them.
Like bears who can live with fruits and vegetables but its not the most effective type of food for them and can not reach their best with only those. While they can reach their best with only meat.
Their meant to eat meat but they can survive without it the thing is one is survive and another thing is thrive.
“apexis dailies” what does that mean?
Well think like that now rng will no longer kitten you over. Now its all about your effort.
The first two are shaman armors, and i think they deserve to be in the game. Like i feel as though since those armors are in game with people able to wear it ((npcs)) players should be able to as well. Reason being that the shaman is the highest rank the norn people can achieve without being high king.
I am pretty sure there is no high king. And shamans do not have a higher rank then a non shaman the rank is based their reputation that they gained while doing adventures.
The more incredible things you did the more respected you are and higher in rank. For example the norn hero should be the highest in rank by now considering his feats.
Yeah 9 but only 1 actually did the work of killing him. But think like that if the dragons are stronger then the gods then after they one killed by being bombed and the other killed in his own mind while he was the dragon of mind really talking about being defeated at your own game how do they dare to call themselves gods if they are so weak?
Like evil Gods that want to be reborn and destroy the world, cept that was done, and dragons are suppose to be stronger than gods.
Yeah that means that being a god is no big deal then. Granted one of them was killed by 2 mortal with one doing most of the work and the other one taking most of the spoil kitten kitten.
We killed 2 elder dragons and mostly thanks to 1 single very very very powerful mortal. He did in 4 years what the other races did not in 200 years kill a elder dragon.
But he is still a mortal there is no hint not talking about proof but hint that he is anything more then a mortal. What is the point of being gods if a mortal is stronger then beings stronger then you.
Wow they look awesome besides the first 2 but the rest look amazing. Yeah they need to be in the game.
Why would they fight now there is even more to eat and a lot to share. For example they barely overlap and that is because Primordius has a lot of underground territory but they stay out of each others way.
Yeah but they where hundreds of Sylvari and maybe hundreds of Hyleks so maybe thousands of sentient beings and yet the commander still kicked kitten . Also how did he resist when he went in the eternal alchemy while Scarlet did not?
How did he knew how to use those ruptures?
You face Branded in the ogre plot line.
Well that is my point that was another elder dragon that hurt our friends not a Zaitan. What reason did we had then to go against Zaitan?
We should have went against the elder dragon with a very complex name.
What friend what hylek? What story did I played?
Hylek racial sympathy story plot. It’s the only one where you encounter risen during the racial sympathies.
Friend with charr = Howl, whom was your warband mate (unfortunately given that Anet decided to wipe out your warband in the tutorial you never actually got to talk to him outside 3 sentences).
TLDR: I only have problem with how the plot ends with going behind enemy lines every single game to win with no deviation. Tired of being Tyria’s Commando Squad.
Zhaitan seems to be a slight exception like Prophacies. GW1 plots were the same with Shiro, Abaddon and great destroyer. Prophecies was more complex bigger plot but also included the going behind enemy lines plot
You are right in that it follows typical plot of heroic quest. I think Anet needs to deviate from this. Especially with the part about going behind enemy lines with your crew. Every single GW game did that. Why do we always need to do the go behind enemy lines. For example, why not have a plot where we just have no idea how to win and are forced to fight the foe head on. No going behind enemy lines we kill the minions at great loss and we brute force the antagonist shear grit. Or another example allow/force said antagonist to come out and fight due to reasons. They surely can vary the final part of the formula. They do vary the plot in between the first 3 steps.
Pardon, but when has evil army leaders ever not been protected by his army?
And… fighting the army head on is what Factions and Zhaitan plot did. It’s what Mordremoth plot did too. Yet you called it ‘going behind enemy lines’.
You also meet risen in the Quaagan sympathy plotline, if I am not mistaken.
What about the ogres?
As you all know the dragon of plants is also of minds his ability being controlling the mind of minions twisting their desires and fears so he could control them. But the commander managed to beat a creature that managed to defeat thousands of beings in their own mind practically destroying their mind as the commander did to him.
So how did that happened how could a total noob do that?
(edited by adormtil.1605)
Well its either them or the Azura seeing as the Inquest are everywhere and their just a faction of the Azura society. But the charr do seem to have a high presence in the pact I think maybe the highest and the area we see of their territory is just 1 third of what they have considering all the other legions have their own territory so it makes me wonder are they with highest population among the 5 great races?
What friend what hylek? What story did I played?
Especially if you do not craft because I am a warrior not a blacksmith who has the time and patience and gold to do that job. Do you get more exotics and rare from rewards and chests if you have full luck?
I never understood what the elder dragon Zaitan did to the non sylvari hero. I mean really now what did he do?
It was nothing actually the bandits and centaurs did more then Zaitan and I did not see the hero doing genocide on them. Really Zaitan did nothing to us and yet we went and killed him.
I get Mordremoth he did used Scarlet to attack us so that is something but Zaitan is innocent towards non sylvari heroes.
I was hoping Rythlock could have become one but since you have to be from that bloodline its not gonna happen. He is strong enough to defeat all 4 of them and well did 1 at least.
It is certainly changing. I think evolving isn’t the right word for it. That seems to suggest improvement.
Evolving doesn’t mean improving. There are plenty of evolutionary dead ends.
It is said that the most successful beings on this planet are pretty much the less evolved you know like bacteria.
-Ele
-Thief
-Warrior
-Guardian
-Ranger
- Engineer
-Mesmer (depending on encounters)
- Necro (still seems to be at the bottom, but might have changed)zerker Reaper does quite a lot of dmg. it is on par with GS warrior as far as i’ve seen. weaker above 50% of target’s hp, stronger when it goes below 50%
Since when does greatsword warrior have good DPS? Auto attacks are slow and don’t hit hard. The only potential candidate is 100b but it’s a 3.5 second channel so the number you see should be divided over that.
I thought axe on warrior was harder hitting.
Really 1 hit at critical with those buffs or boons or whatever you wanna call them gives you 3k per hit with the first skill, the second one can give you 90k in 3.5 sec, the third one around 3k, the fourth one around 10k and the last one well I have no idea. But you guess how much damage that is right in a minute right?
Tell of a class that can do that much damage in such small amount of time?
My bet is on guardian.
I really wish I understood what is written in those skills for warrior. Also wanna get how do I get dozen of bonuses to get that kind of damage that warrior has no chance of you having them unless someone its a outside buff.
What exactly are you trying to say? What’s there not to understand?
What is written in the damage tab what skills are used its like it written in french. I need to know if that damage is also condi damage.
I really wish I understood what is written in those skills for warrior. Also wanna get how do I get dozen of bonuses to get that kind of damage that warrior has no chance of you having them unless someone its a outside buff.
To become imperator? In that I mean does it have to be recorded that you have to be descended from the first Khan to become a imperator?
He lived thousands of years ago so most likely most charr are descended from him because statistics do not lie unless his four descendants had only 1 child each and went like that for thousands of years which I really doubt.
So do you have to be a recorded descended from him to become a charr imperator?
Primordus seems to be quite well inactive does he still fights the dwarfs? Or maybe the killed him?
