Even when you strongly disagree with someone people are pretty PG. The only think that makes it worse then SWTOR is the huge amount of leaving the group when we are doing a dungeon.
In SWTOR people left the group in FP maybe 5 times in here I think a couple hundred times. Yeah I dabbled a lot in dungeons but it did in FP also.
Its not the nicest that goes to SWTOR but its still very nice either compared to all other mmo I played SWTOR and I played WOW, Neverwinter online, Dungeons&Dragons online, EVE, AQW and none besides the exception where that nice.
Why is that?
Do dragons have souls? Apparently yes, because of Glint. Somehow Rytlock was able to commune with Glint in the Mists. Or maybe Glint is a special case, or maybe that’s not how Rytlock got Glint’s power?
Revenants do not channel souls, they channel echos of people/creatures who have made a big impact on the world and thus on the mists.
Then where is the hero of GW1?
So who do you all think is the strongest of all the elder dragons?
I think Primordius of course as the name implies and you do not send him to be the vanguard unless he is the strongest. Also it could mean he finished his job last time faster then his brothers or maybe his children again implying he is stronger.
Also his champion the great destroyer awoken quite often in history more then he should. All this make me think he is the stronger.

I am surprised that his champion was stronger then him. I mean really what was Zaitian thinking when he created a immortal champion.

Yea I imagine any future expansions might involve fighting more than 1 dragon at a time. Plus I feel like all the surviving dragons are stronger now with mordy’s death, where at the end it seems the energy he had been collecting spread across tyria.
Its theory of mine but I think that there is a reason there are so many elder dragons. Each of them can only drain so much magic if they take more they might die from oveeating to put it like that. So the fact that we killed Zaitan and Mordy means that they have to eat more then they can and I have a feeling that they will be very angry that they can not succeed in their task.
She seems to have well lets very good ideas and plans and makes incredible gadgets is she even if she is so young. Is she smarter then Zoija as far as I know she did more things then Zoija?

I hope they will not do a expansion for every elder dragon in the game. That is gonna take so long.
About what happens if the magic runs wild well obvious answer we are gonna use it or better said drain it ourselves by making magic a common place and be used by every being on Tyria.

At the speed we kill them yeah we get burned out especially if another elder dragon appears besides then one we know.
Well because the title needs to be very short my question is could we be able to win because we have more advanced technology then the elder race. There is no question that they where more advance in magic then the races of Tyria now but there is no proof that they had the level of technology we have now. We have quite advanced technology right now based of gunpoweder and yes on magic but I did not see similar level of technology in any of the elder races.
Could this be the edge that would give us a chance to beat the dragon races?
So in the end the commander was still responsible for the alliance between the exalted and the pact as the exalted needed the pact for them to activate the pillars and they could not activate them without the egg there.
It may not have been his objective for all those allies to be allied to the pact but they are because of him. The only ones who are not are the ogres.
1 because he saved the tribe what alliance is if there is no tribe and 2 because he brought the egg to the center for the exalted.
You know why I downplay them because they could have done nothing if they where dead and without allies. So what if they destroyed the mouth of mordremoth guess what that thing regenerates but you know what did not his mind. The only really useful thing they did was distracting Mordremoth that is all they distracted.
How could any of them be the next pact leader when they used untold resources and countless men for a distraction and all that because the commander gave them a fighting chance without even being his main objective to do that.
Peter Principle a candidate for a position is based on the candidate’s performance in their current role, rather than on abilities relevant to the intended role so taking that principle in account he should be the leader of the Pact.
That is how things are done and should be done here also and there is no other character that is a better candidate. Meritocracy with its flaws.

Well the exalted awoke after Glint died they said that so what did they do for so many years?
Mordremoth awoke 1 year ago what did they do against him? They did not even activate the pillars.

Op the mistake of the reaver was that he did not create the raid squad. If he did there would have been no problem. I do that and well lets say I have no problem since they enter on my terms. The same with dungeon. I was never kicked from a group because either I made it or did it with my guild who guess what do not kick you out no matter of the group how bad you are.
Yes, the Exalted was out and about searching for something, but he didn’t know it was the egg until we told him. At the same time, WE didn’t take the egg there. Caithe did. We finished the journey that she started. Even without the egg, the Exalted were waking up and starting to fight the jungle dragon, which was their life task (as well as glint’s legacy). Are you seriously saying if it wasn’t for the commander taking the egg to the city, the exalted would have sat there and gone “Nah, we are going to sit right here in our city, and not lift a finger to help you people fighting the dragon!”?
Yes the freaking dragon was up for a year or so until the pact got there what where they doing they where hiding in their city. They only became active after glints egg got to the specific place. Also do you know why the giant frogs joined us is because we saved one of their own and really saved their village. What frog people will join the pact if there is no frog people to join the pact. They would not have joined either way because they would not exist to join or be grateful enough to join.
They could either have become hostile as the other frog group or dead.
Why do you think the event at Dragon’s Stand happened? They attacked the mouth for no reason?

And yes the exalted actually said its time to resume our active role or something like that after the hero brought the egg. And yes that exalted was only searching there because he searched for the egg if not for that you will not see any of the outside of their city and other secluded places. How do you know they would have allied with the pact either way?
You know that there is another frog tribe also attacked by mordremoth’s forces that did not join that pact and its hostile in the same map? Broke that logic.

I am planning to create this class for this after I finally manage to kill mordremoth. So what race goes the best with it in lore like fashion and of course the race skills.

So well I noticed that is quite rare to meet a engineer I did of course but there few and far between and not many play it and noticed its hard to get good at it its very squishy and well has a lot of mechanics that their sweet time to activate which is not very useful in Guild Wars 2 since everything moves so fast.
But still its a jack of all trades so why do people do not play it?
Okay let me remind you that the exalted became active again after the commander brought the egg. Do not forget that. The frog also became allies because of the commander do not forget that also. After all he is the one who gained their trust.
And they only did that because the commander ordered them to do it. Why is it so hard to believe that he is the most active and successful of all the other commanders?

But the timer means that you don’t need patience. You need speed.

Also that tactic I described is for well all kinds of people that have patience. You do not have to be good just patient.

They could not have done any of that if the commander did not saved them as he did the priory forces in the next map also if he did not opened diplomacy with the exalted. We did not only went for the egg and destiny edge we saved them and gave them allies so they can help us. The point is not of the other commanders did as much as the commander.
Or you can just dodge everything and hit once in a blue moon. Of course there is no person that can keep up that for 8 hours that is why you need a group. For example you range with a riffle so you get out of his tick or at least be at the edge of the tick giving you space to dodge it. It will be a lot of running but you all get the point?
A all range tactic. If the one that takes aggro dies the other one who takes his place has kite the guardian so someone goes and resses the dead person. I wish I could put this strategy in action. I need some people who lets say have a lot of patience.
You don’t get an hour, you get 8 minutes. And it’s not straight DPS, you have to deal with multiple different mechanics and the adds.
You have 8 minutes until he gets enraged but was this not discussed just do not get hit and yes I know you have to deal with different mechanics and adds that is why I said do not get hit and try to damage him when you get the chance they you go bac to dodging and range hitting him again when you can.
Kite the hell out of him.
Its all about patience a lot of patience if you can kite him for about 8 hours or so I he might be soloed. But imagine if 10 people can do the same thing you will reduce the time in less then a hour.

However, the vale guardian has a dmg pulse output ticking every few second, so it’s impossible “not getting hit”. Especially with everything else going on in this fight.
Have you tried it yet? Or seen a video on youtube? If not, you should.
Oh I tried it and I noticed I can survive a lot more if I use range weapons and dodge a lot. Not so much for my teammates for some reason. I got killed trying to ress them then they gave up then tried it alone with another person. Found out red circles kill no matter your build but it still works to move and use range.

Maybe its just me but I noticed that even very good players do not manage to survive every time in melee. I do not know why but for some reason it happens.
It felt very rushed out to me. It’s all about rushing in to save the various Destiny’s Edge people before “bad stuff” happens. Fine. Run to rescue friends ASAP, think about rebuilding/attacking later, makes sense. But then, as you gets the rescue done, you just go ahead and kill the dragon just like that because why not?
I’m with you OP, i liked the Zhaitan story much more. You spent ages gathering an army and making war machines, and you ended up using them to defeat the big baddie.
And its was so boring that it was a pain to find people to help you finish the dungeon later on.
I do not see the issue if people like to jump and to puzzles to get mastery points they have that option. If people want to do fractals to have enough points they should do that. If they want to do events to get masteries they should do that. They should not have to do all of them.
So what about all those people who don’t like story, or different races, or fractals, or whatever else the mastery points are gated behind? Do you honestly expect ANet to give out mastery points like candy, so everyone can skip all of them they don’t like?

It is the commander it will always be the commander he is the only one the troops will trust he is the most famous of them and to be more specific compared to the other pact leaders he did most of the work. There will be no pact without the commander in the first place.

Okay its true that the commander is part of one of the factions but the 3 sub commanders actually and surprise reached a compromise they asked the soldiers who the leader should be. Go figure they found the solution.
Now the one who will deal with intel does not have to be above the commander in rank in the pact. Think of all those warrior leaders they had people under them who dealt with intelligence and well paperwork in general. Also the commander does not have to deal with all the intelligence as the pact proved it can managed quite well without directions from the overall leader.
Who needs paperwork that is for office dudes. The pact needs a leader on the field of battle and there is no better one then the commander. Proof well the second he came in Maguma he gave the pact a fighting chance.
Hell the commander is the reason they defeated Zaitan also. He did most of the work there also and its not fair to chose a less successful leader in leading the pact.

Exactly we could have glided on the dogs head and decapitate him. But no we did not for some reason. This is what I hate the commander could have saved here without issue but no he preferred to walk there.

Abaddaon was killed by a human why can’t a elder dragon be killed a mortal also. Even if a elder dragon is as big as mountain then we just dodge and move and hit until we crack that shell and stab the heart.
Well its simple dodge then dodge some more then move then use 3 then move(from the yellow and red circles) and then dodge then move then use 3 then special, then dodge then move then 3 then dodge then move then 3 and special then again dodge then move if you use a greatsword.
If you use a rifle use just move and move and move and move and move and move while pressing 1.
A elder dragon in this expansion I mean really I bought the game because I thought I will finally kill a elder dragon so besides the fact that I master some thing to advance the story do we kill a elder dragon?

Shadow of the Dragon is 100% plant while Mordremoth’s body isn’t. The Shatterer is 100% not biological either but clearly a construct made of stone and lightning. The Claw of Jormag is an obvious construct of ice and bone too.
Nothing shows that the dragon-shaped dragon champions are ‘birthed’ by the Elder Dragons. Though this doesn’t mean that there wasn’t a dragon race in the distant past – given that Glint could procreate and that we had Bone Dragons in GW1 (plus the Claw of Jormag’s bones had to come from somewhere, as did the bodies of Zhaitan’s dragons).
Is not Mordremoth 100% plant also?
