Its so true. There is a zerg that hits all the temples in Orr that starts around 4pm server. Its big enough that if it went into WvW the map would be one colour in an hour or 2.

Get used to the spawn camping. I think they call it fight club.

Don’t get the stairs thing. 3k+ tokens and counting and I have never used them, ever.

Form your own group, post what you are/want to do. If I have downtime I have no problem joining a group and even passing on strats. I see it as an investment in my peace of mind come later knowing that there is a better chance of grouping with people who know what to do. Especially in fractals.

It really speaks to what a complete waste of time this week has been that FC has generated sooooooo many posts and so much venom. No one cares. WTB Reset.

Kinghts/Soldiers 20/20/0/30/0 – with shouts or banners. Forgiving
Zerkers/Divinity or Ruby jewels 0/20/0/30/20 – More Damage, less forgiving
Zerkers/Divinity or Ruby jewels 20/30/0/0/20 – Even More Damage, Even less forgiving

I’ve seen a lot of posts here that have said (in general i.e. non build specific) start by running knights accessories with Ruby Jewels to get the best of both worlds until you get comfortable with the dungeons and the encounters.

I run GS/rifle for fractals – I put condition builds (S/WH) aside a while ago and concentrated on doing direct damage.As I got experience, I went full zerkers with the ascended pieces as I acquired them. I swap between 2 armor sets (Knights and Zerkers) depending on what encounter I am doing.

What you run is really your choice, if you stay conditions, I’m thinking rampagers gear would be a better fit. I’m sure other people will also have advice.

I was just looking ahead to what happens if our WvW numbers stay about the same. Id honestly be surprised if we fell to T8, but it remains to be seen what happens until free transfers end. T6 next week but we will feel the numbers crunch – I’m actually looking forward to seeing what we field next week since I do think a lot of the wvw crew took last week off because of the stupid numbers Kain put out. T7 wouldn’t be the end of the world though – be nice to have a balanced week.

Ill throw in my 2 cents. Come join NSP and know that your efforts will make real difference. As was said before, we have a large player-base that when stirred-up can make a huge difference in WvW – be the ones that awaken the giant!

NSP is going to have to rebuild again and look for new guilds on server to step up. We will settle into t7/8 and continue on. Badges still drop and hopefully wasted weeks like this one will stop happening with the end of free transfers. See you in a few hours AR, Kain enjoy getting crushed by real servers, you havent had to play for a long time and you are losing the population easy button. Rob’s money looks safe.

Wow, that’s a huge numbers hit for the night crew and now a bigger gap to be held by the huddled masses (including myself) during OS downtime. Looks like we will adjust to t7-8. Oh well, kitten them all, NSP will soldier on and will enjoy watching Kain get crushed when fair-weather meets actual talent up above. Props again to Os for standing by the server.

I think it might have been a bit closer to that picture (and enthusiasm) had we been paired with DH. I can’t picture us holding hands with AR to take on Kain, even though it has been pointed out numerous times that a Northern Anvil server would be fairly good one.

Ive been through the thread, and I will see your side and adjust this point to the following – Yet another week watching a transfer titan stomp around - Guess I’m still coloured by DR.

As to point 2- NSP has played well against larger servers in the past – We stayed T5 for way longer than we should have vs DB and DH. But lets be realistic – Why would we want to keep you here? The sooner you are gone, the sooner we can get back to hopefully having a good week of WvW. Another week of “Oh look, the map is all one colour!” would just be utterly horrible. No need to earn badges for ascended items when weeks like this gives more than enough time in FoTM to be fully decked out in ascended gear as well as pad the bank for siege and upgrades next week.

Since your transfers in and your human wave through t8-t6, you are simply your numbers, you will only see your true worth when you fight servers that are on equal terms as has been the case for DR and DB as well. Don’t get bent out of shape over it. NSP and AR could be the the most amazing tacticians ever and you could be be completely talent-less (not saying you are, btw) and the result will be the same this week. In WvW on a server level, Skill>numbers if numbers are close. Otherwise Numbers > skill.

I don’t think morale is really the issue here as much as it is a recognition of reality. I don’t think people want to waste gold on a battle that realistically can’t be won. Kaineng is a huge force and they shouldn’t be faulted for that. However, because this is a video game with features such as respawning, time zone coverage, and culling, it makes having more players the most powerful advantage. Careful strategy and tactics can only take you so far in this scenario. Servers at this tier simply cannot match the coverage that Kaineng has at this point. To make the argument that such an outbalanced WvW player base can be consistently countered with strategy is silly. Perhaps it’d be true if when your character died, they were out of the fight for a few hours, but that’s not the case. So, in the end, I think that the outmanned servers aren’t having fun (I’m not) playing Kaineng, so we are letting Kaineng pass, rather than bang our heads against a wall.

As a side note, I like this tier for what it is and the great battles we’ve consistently had against evenly matched servers such as NSP. If AR were to get massive guild transfers and started steam-rolling people, I would probably transfer elsewhere. I personally don’t find being on either side of unbalanced fight very fun. Anyways, I wish the best of luck to Kaineng and I hope you guys do well in the higher tiers. It is nice to see the server I started on climbing the ranks.

The reality is not

Honestly, I have zero opinion on Kain. Just waiting for the week to be over.

@StormWolf – Not hammering on the people – well maybe some of the posts here – just more the situation itself. Its hard enough to bring new bodies into WvW on a PvE server to get them the experience necessary to become effective , let alone bring them in for outmanned overpopulationed zergfest 3.0 (DB, DR, K). To quote in another thread “Blowouts suck, no matter which side you’re on. There’s no reason to log into one. Better off letting the week go and see what happens next.” Until this transfer stupidity ends, T6 is going to forever be the last week of roflstomp for the “next big thing” and the rebound fling for the “used to be the next big thing”. T7 and T8 seem to be stable. T6 wont be until one more server rebuilds. Even more frustrating knowing that last week was what T6 should be and its been destroyed by server bloat.

Yet another week watching a transfer titan stomp around and claim they are the best thing ever. For the dedicated WvWs on NSP and AR, thanks for keeping up presence and showing up. For Kaineng, thanks for encouraging a week of PvE to buildup cash reserves. Have fun moving up, lets see what happens when you run into numbers. I’m predicting a repeat of DR – they were the bestest most tactical server ever until oops, last week happened. For Anet, enough with the server transfers already, last week was what T6 should be, stop allowing fair weather transfers to create steamrollers that completely destroy any semblance of balance in the lower tiers.

Any score update? Looks like NSP will come second and drop a tier as a reward.

I also removed mine when the crash issues happened. I too am getting the same error as those above.
