As far as the video with [Lost]. Since they dropped 10 build sites on me after 15v4ing us, I figured they would have the sense of humor to handle a joke. I actually appreciate that they come out and fight with manageable numbers more often than not. They run heavy CC and focus target well, so it’s not an easy fight for me as a necro. They are the ones focusing me in the first part of this movie.

Both opposing servers are attacking us but we are still in the lead. If it makes you feel better, then just believe in cooperation between us and EBay. So, even with a third server in play BP can’t beat us. It may change in the future, who knows, but currently you can’t beat YB. That’s why your Forum warriors are all silent. I remember matches before the league when you showed the manners that gave your server the reputation it still has. This week is a three-sided match and you are still losing. And you getting us “alone” is nothing you would want.

This is so tipical, i dont know why i tought it would be different, a lot people came to forums to QQ about FA zerggin and all kind of things about FA has no small groups, FA cannot fight smallers teams bla bla , all kind of QQ you can find in a server who dont have but want the numbers to faces FA.

Just for the record i stop doin EURO-RALLY (15-20 BOMB + 60man militia) just because Chabas words about fight in small groups got me and i tought well lets do it in their way.

Except on Friday night, I think we ran a 46 man then.

Get rid of downed state. That alone will flip the balance towards skill as opposed to numbers.

Takes the south towers and tries for bay for like 5 hours. Cant take one keep. Whole queue sitting in their TS channel cheers and feels good wiping a bunch of disorganized pugs who know how to defend but don’t have the discipline to take it out in the open.

Please stop wiping our karma trains, it’s making our choo choo sad and they are running our of excuses to make themselves feel better.

No defensive achievements proves karma train blobs are the dev’s preferred play style.

Silver league will, as will any wvw match, be decided by who can blob the most 24×7. The real question will be who can sustain their pve blobbers the most when their 2 week attention span ends. Any talk of skill in wvw is irrelevant unless it is immediately followed by the word “lag”.

tl;dr version of Esp’s post. We moved to BP for the community (something that was completely missing from NSP) they worked hard to set up and get it to where it is now. If BP had not put in the time and effort to build it, they would not be where they are now and have attracted who they did.

Nah tbh we aren’t on par with any of the servers in silver, but we will still show up and fight hard. My only concern is the fact that most matchups we have previously had, we have been double teamed for w/e reason. So for everyone in silver league if you didn’t already know, we can’t compete “at all” when there are 2 50 man zergs attacking us. Not complaint just stating a fact. Just know that our server never asked for Devon to be on our server so if you are trying to make a statement by ignoring the other server in the matchup…. Don’t. He will get the message just fine going through the next 7 weeks with us, if he even comes out at all. GL to all in the league! Here’s to hoping we all get some good fights with each other!

I am pleased to announce we did have a total of ZERO guilds transfer to our server, but I guess when you are at the bottom there is no where to go but up.

We are just happy we get to hang out with you again.

Since the 3 weeks after opening northernshiverpeaks.org and giving away basically butt-ton of tools and services that have been in development for months, i’ve pretty much concluded that NSP (minus 2 big WvW guilds) is really just a casual PvE server. It’s lost a great deal since release, getting people even remotely organized even for a teq kill is like pulling teeth, let alone getting people playing in any organized manner in WvW (again minus 2 big guilds and a handful of smaller ones). There are a bunch of smaller guilds that continually get left out in the cold, and not even by their own accord, of any organized play, even when people here are willing to basically do a big chunk of the work for them. I might play more in WvW if it wasn’t such an Ego-fest.

I wasn’t going to say I told you so, but I did.

Lost is looking for quaggan ball competition this week. Let us know if you are available. We will also need a volunteer ball as well.

Wasn’t bragging about being top server in the #2 league. Just as salty about the league system as you are. As far as I am concerned, more fun to get roflstomped than do the stomping. At least when you have +0 ppt you can fight for something. What is there to do at +695 ppt? Guard spawns? Whew so fun. Thanks Anet for killing the fun in light of Achievements. Can’t believe PvEr’s have put up with this Achievement bullkitten for so long.

Oh I agree. Cannot wait to face T1 servers. Will be excellent weeks to farm the next legendary or catch up on unplayed games in my steam library.

WvW meta achievement: 10 points for spiking an anet dev. Golden kitten mini pet for spiking Devon.

In a game where the monthly achievements are done in less than a day and living world are done by running around a map, I highly doubt the wvw “living story” will require much effort, esp with the shift towards allowing casual players the same ability to have shinies as the hard-core ones.

Possibly one of the most boring match ups in a long time. There was nobody to fight, except for unorganized pugs. If we met a group with equal numbers, they would just run away into a keep behind arrow carts.
I will say that i quite enjoyed trying to take back our garrison from DR on Friday, and enjoyed all of the GvG’s going on. Cheers to all of you.
I hope the rest of BP will decide to actually play the game, instead of taking the easy path to a boring victory in silver league. I hope you guys have fun stomping the worst servers in the game.

Though I cannot believe that most of Yak’s and some BP have actually showed up for fights in this match-up. Unless all our transfers did exponentially; rating-wise, increase our WvW population…

Honestly, now that I think about it, we seem to be able to have a queue in EB almost always and manage to put queues on 2 BL’s almost every night. I guess I just thought that BP and Yak’s was capable of the same. You guys were really good at jumping around BL’s to intercept us when we did not have the transfers that made us think you had a much greater population.

You’re the current bandwagon. Gz. Every post I see from SBI reads like a carbon copy of those from SF, Kain, DR, etc when they thought the were destined for success. The results of 7 weeks of gold league wake up calls will determine where your server will end up. Assuming anyone still plays WvW by that time.

By the number of posts I make that are removed I know Anet scans these forums so please, change it so we never roll up again. Every night its just run around the map a couple times, find a blob and then call it a night.

Too bad Devon doesn’t consider this matchup of servers with similar coverage as an example of how WvW should be played. Yet more proof that the WvW team has no clue.

Devon I think your doing a good job but seriously your out of touch with WvW. You and your team need to take the time before this league starts and transfer to every server and play at times your normally wouldn’t i.e. not reset day or NA prime. Your numbers tell you these servers crush people but it’s not until you actually see it in action that it sinks in and you realize skill has nothing to do with it. Do it in the name of research.

Watch as your group while in a T3/4/5 server won’t be able to take anything but camps and maybe a unguarded tower during European/Oceanic/SEA against T1/2 servers that you probably won’t hold for the point tick. Watch the karma train while sitting in a T1 or T2 server against T3/4/5. Watch in the lower tiers the literal ghost town at these times. Then you’ll understand the true gaps between the servers and maybe then it will lead you guys to a solution. As many have stated it’s not skill and never will be skill it’s all coverage and population
