A D/D ele has little chance vs spirti rangar and if your new to the mode you have less
anyway i would give you a few tips, D/D ele is fun but not effective you get to clouse and eles are verry fridgail

you cant expekt to win vs phantasam mesmer wen you duel and come with a build oriented more for team fith on points. If you cant kill a certan class and spec then make this class and spec and practice see how it works give it few days of practice and if you still cant kill anybody or you cant do anything then the problem is in you not the mesmer.

wen the thief is stelted there is no counter tho wen he use shadow reff you can move him away from it .Any thin othjer then shadow reff is for 2-3 sec top so i realy dont see the problem you cant count 1,2 and the dodge

my main is mesmer and i dint won any game vs spirit rangas so far ( on compedetive pvp not vs some brain dead ppl ) anyway i tohut i was doing somthing ron so i made a spirit rangar and do you know hwat hapens i win evry singal 1v1 fight i engage and i havent play rangar befor evry one the only problemathink class is necro wen i fight top100-200 ppl and its 50-50 so ye spirit rangar is op it dosont required any skill what so ever. So far i dint lost any 1v1 vs mesmer no matter the spec rank skil or lb rank .
So if you have problems with mesmer on your spirit rangar then i strongly sugest surch the forum i saw sowear a post of a guy giving pvp lesons for 25g a hower

You can have 3 spirits up…possibly 4 but you lose all your utilities and elite.
You can have 3 phantasms up very quickly the ranger has to summon his but they last longer.
Phantasm’s are on a 20 to 30 second cooldown. Spirits are a 1 minute cooldown.
Phantasms hit for a truck load of damage by themselves…the mesmer can be invisible at the time. How is that less passive than a spirit ranger?
You can summon phantasms from utilities “Phantasmal Defender” is not a block? Redirects damage to itself…sounds like a block. Note with a utility there is no 20 second wait time…OMG i have to “waste” a utility! so broken…lol tell that to the ranger.

2 war can fear him or sinly dem in the shadow reff
3 rangars wolf can fear

to counter 4 spirit rangars simply spamm AOE from distance 2 necros one with epidemik will destroy all spirits in no time

there is cool gear for r30 and r 40 you will moust likly spend all of your glory for it but after tath lets do some math
for 1 rank after 40 you need 45k points ( glory ) and for 50 you need 75k tho many times you wil lget more glory then rank but for this example lets asume you get same amount
to get r 50 you have 45k X 9 + 75k X 1 = 480k
I’m rank 53 from time to time i get bored and sped 10-20k for chest to get finishes but now this ship is saild and you dont have to worry for it anyway i get 750k + glory and the truth is there is nothing you can do with it

Put bether rewards for pvp so far your giving evry cool thing for pve. Give more achivment points for pvp achivments it takes weeks to get a champ title yet you get few achivments for it.Ye alot of pvp ppl dont care for achivments but it will be a start to pull more ppl to pvp !!
Spirit rangars are op alot there is no deniing in this its take alot less skills and practice to kill some one with mounths of practice on same build but i disagree tath 4 spirit rangar and a g bunker cant lose i won a game vs team like this and we beat them 500 to 250-300
spirit rangar is realy strong 1v1 and dedly in team fiths becouse of the passive bufss tath spirit gives to your teamates but if you have only rangars then thay allready have the same buffs and it’s not so effective

top 100 ppl play realy or not at all and for example if 5 ppl from top 50 want to get in top 10 they team up and join the arena to be a fai game they have to mach up ppl from top 100. there are 4 good mapts and thay are curently on rotation for ratad pvp but it comes a moment wen you realise its the same old s**t and you stop caring at all .
Skyhammer was prety fun one it baskly make all builds for the other maps usles and you see how ppl have realy hard time to adapt on it.Yes i agree pushing ppl of the cannon or fear chain is no skill at all but wen you know what’s coming for you why you play the same build !!! There is no serios mesmer ever from the relese of the game to paly tvpv with torch to clean condis there are 3 builds for mesmer 1-th is illusion all low rank/rating paly it it is good for 1v1 but its sucks in team fiths and team fiths win the games not 1v1
2-th build is shater with is the build for all skild ppl but there is no room for any condy removals if you take other traits or wepons you simply cripple your calss and become a burden for your team
3-th is confusion not verry popular build its good in teamfiths tho its prety much same ans shater the talent line is all moust the same
so my opinion is not to give condy removas for mesmers they must be kild some how anyway but to nerf conditions and nerf them badly
nullfield can remove a total of 7 conditions for 7 seconds yet a necro can spamm all posible conditions in a 3-4 secs
arcane thievary will transfer 3 contitions ok this is somthing cool but 99% of the tiems it will now send back the conditions you want (bleed/ burn / poison ) i will send others anyway event if you send the necro his bleeds he can send them back so no point in this skill vs necro
