Again, what MMO, or even game, is COMPLETELY PERFECT upon release? You know the answer.
Yes i do. Super Mario Bros. on the NES.
51 – Warr
26 – Thief
9 – Mesmer
6 – Guard
1 – Necro
160 hours played alltogether, 80 of those with the Warr.
Dgenerate.1948What I have been told by the GW fanboys is that this game isnt about loot. It’s about “exploring” and “adventure” and “the experience”. Let’s just face it, this game is a flop and probably only good for the people who like Adventure RPG games like Oblivion, but with a multiplayer aspect.
Like saying a FPS is a flop cause it’s probably good for people that like .. you know .. shooting.
Ranger is more “physical”, has pets that you command ( you switch them too ), bows, throwing axes…
Ele is magic, has only one weapon set but you have 4 atunements that you switch.
So just go with what you enjoy more.
There are also POI’s in Vigil, DP and Whisper bases in case you forgot those.
REMOVE WHATEVER SYSTEM YOU IMPLEMENTED, THIS kitten IS REDICULOUS!
Y u no like kittens? :’(
They punish us because they love us :P
No one will take you seriously if you think it’s possible to make any decent content in such a short time with the amount of work they have on their hands.
Borrowed this from another thread.
It dosnt really matter
They said that they wanted “No Grind”
Yet they have all of these thing which needs Hours and hours of grinding
Direct quote from one of the blogs. Key words are marked:
It doesn’t suck your life away and force you onto a grinding treadmill; it doesn’t make you spend hours preparing to have fun rather than just having fun; and of course, it doesn’t have a monthly fee.
The sooner we start asking ourselves “What did i do wrong to get myself killed” instead of opening up pointless posts, the better.
The point i guess is in the other items. The coin’s just a random thing probably.
In guildwars2 once you max your level, the cost of living in tyria is so high, after you’ve suited up, you cant even afford to travel to far places without paying a exorbitant fee because and anything you do wont yield as much monetary compensation anymore since you’ve done all your stories, instead what its trying to make you do is to grind heart events and complete the map 100% but then what when you finish those?
After reading this, one would think the only source of money are hearts and story. I am having no such problems with travel expenses since doing one dynamic pretty much covers the entire fee. And that’s not considering all of the junk the mobs drop. How did you manage to get yourself suited up then? It’s not like hearts are raining gold.
Haven’t seen that message so far.
Real players just don’t like to get involved in arguments that aren’t going anywhere.
Bunnies!
Message Body length must at least be 15!
Crucifer.28312 weeks into your game you already managed to make everyone unhappy
You =/= everyone
Crucifer.2831that me spending 30+ hours in their game doing PvE content that I enjoy
As far as i know (someone correct me if i’m wrong), you are not banned from the dungeon. If you enjoy doing it, noone is keeping you away.
Crucifer.2831Yes, yes I would.
Lockout timers were a fantastic implementation ….
… And to keep the players around playing the game.
You said you would rather have a lock-out timer than this. So you enjoy waiting for the timer to pass more than you enjoy playing? You keep players arround playing the game by keeping them waiting? Your logic is impressive!
Crucifer.2831I paid 0 dollars for GW2 I was given it as a gift from my job.
Don’t even know what to say to this.
Basicly what i’m reading is a lot of I’s, Me’s and I deserve’s. It all boils down to you not being able to get rich quick and now you’re blaming someone else under a pretence of you not being able to enjoy the game anymore and how it’s bad business practise. In the end you just cannot take that you had to cut your profits a little for the good of the entire population (2 million+ as it were). Cause it’s all about you, isn’t it?
Get over yourself.
P.S.
Crucifer.2831The OP is an IT Technician who knows and understands the operational procedures for proper maintenance and change.
Being an IT Technician and all you probably do realize that the procedures you mentioned are used when developing new features and not tweaks and fixes. By the time you wrote the documentation, proposed and evaluated the solution and so on, the 2 million players would drive the economy to the ground and with it your precious “good practise”.
