I’m playing mmo games since Legends of Future Past (1992) and played every kind of mmo game so there are a lot more good times I remember but for sure after years this will not one of ’em.

Just because a designers is not telling you what to do does not necessarily mean you are going to be lost. It all depends on how the game is structured, and how well it is designed.

Letting the player experiment and explore is different from isolating them completely.

Yea fight mechanic is so so easy but that both fight was the worst moments or you can say disappointment in mmo history for me.

Well don’t get me wrong but “I don’t think i’d buy legendaries” made my day.

Well It’s their company they can do anything they want to i don’t care.

We want to play cheap game without monthly subscription so we are playing.

For ANet to make money, they need to sell gems for real money. This means the gem store has to contain items that people wish to purchase, which will also lead to the gold -> gem rate rising as new desirable items are added to the gem store’s offerings.

Yes, this higher rate does benefit ANet by increasing the amount of gems that are purchased with the intention of converting to gold, but the primary “lever” is offering desirable items in the store. In my opinion, ANet are managing to do this without undermining their “no significant advantage” philosophy.

Oh thank God.. I thought it was just me! Seems I’m not alone…

I never had this problem before in my life but in SAB I’ve experienced motion sickness as well. Dunno why but this is the weirdest thing. Have managed so far to deal with the sudden nausea but just barely if you know what I mean and headache!. It’s very uncomfortable.

Done couple runs at SAB but can’t play anymore after launch day… These symptoms make SAB very unpleasant for me.

A.Net cares about money like any other companies which is normal with “Buy and Free to Play” model and this model has not given us any sanction power again which is normal and they are part of huge company with very small group so this waiting time is normal too.

They can delete guilds without warning for under naming policy, forum GMs can tell “disgusts me” publicly, they can ignore or delete topics if they want for any good or bad reasons and yea this list can be really long…

But point is this is still good game around for now until another one comes out.

Colin: We’ve thrown in a few more RNG ways to get them, like random chances for places they could go in the game recently, but that’s not the real solution. That’s just a “hey lets just increase the number of places people can earn them at this point”. The fixes for qualifying for loot that will go in the February release will also increase the chances you can get precursors ‘cause it means you have a higher chance of rolling for loot in every creature that you kill. Which means you have a higher chance of getting a precursor. So that will help as well. But long term we’d like to do something that’s a little bit more epic where there’s a clear path of “here’s everything you need to do and when you complete it you automatically get a precursor.” We’re not working on that right now, we’re really trying to design what that would be, but yeah certainly at some point we will create a system that allows you to do that.

It doesn’t matter what item you are throwing to mystic toilet. Mystic Forge’s script checking first Type and and Rarity.

Let me explain.

Throwing in same exotics like greatswords ( with same or diffrent stats, it doesn’t matter ) give better chance since you’ll 99.9% will get an exotic greatsword back ( with %0.1 chance you can get a rare item ), you’re just playing the “which exotic greatsword will i get?” game.

Putting in diffrent exotic items ( mixed like – shield + sword + focus + staff ) will have you playing 2 gambling games, “Will it go to exotic with 99.9 chance ?” and then “Which item will i get?”.

I know this problem reported before but the vigil legs definitely cause the middle portion of the character model to be cut in half also clipping with boots. ( btw at the first picture, changed leggings color to royal rose for showing clipping issue with the boots )

Yeah I guess. If you don’t want to buy it from those people then don’t. Use the money and gamble it on the forge then.

If it were up to me, precursors would be account bound and not sellable. Make everyone use the forge. That fixes the gold issue. Of course, someone else would complain about that for some other reason. The thing is, precursors will never be cheap. Ever. They’ll always be expensive, and I’m not sure you can really do anything about that.

Yea, I don’t care about their Price or Scavenger Hunt or Mystic Toilet ( btw i spend over 1600 GS at that toilet)…

But main problem didn’t solved yet and seems arena.net don’t care about so much since still they are allowing to sell them at TP.

So… you have 3/4 forge pieces needed to craft your legendary and you’re not willing to farm the gold to buy your precursor or gamble with the forge to get one. I’m not trying to bash you but you don’t deserve it if you aren’t willing to bust your balls for it man.

I wasn’t very lucky. It took me a long time and ridiculous play sessions to get mine. That’s just part of it. If you want a legendary bad enough you’ll get one. If you don’t want it bad enough, you’ll come to the forums and raise a stink because it’s not been handed to you yet.

I farmed enough, and i have enough money also point is ppl got precursors with bugs ( a.net did not anything about it just patched after ) and not only 1 or 2. Some ppl got over 30 precursors ( also i know couple of em, they are still playing this game ) and still selling them.

Point is I don’t want to feed them with my money !!!!!

Also we can count Gold Sellers too. They are keep selling precursors and also legendries!!! Check their websites and talk with ’em. One of ’em have over 40 Twilight atm according to their online support guy!!

They keep forum pm’ing, in-game advertising for gold and that items. I’m not willing to feed them also.

I have enough mats and gifts for 2 twilight or sunrise!

People have legendary weapons. It is obviously obtainable. There’s no “fixes” needed.

I have read some posts ( don’t remember where or when ) which imply you can get different Order’s Armor by purchasing them on a different toon, putting them in the bank and then using trasmutation stones for other toon.

Can somebody please confirm that it indeed works (especially after flame & frost ) and explain how to exactly do it ?
