looks like someone from TX , US (64.25.32.69) is working very hard trying to crack my account at the moment. I’ve already disconnect this ip 4 times from my security menu in the last 20 min.

I just check my account security and found out that an ip from “Texas” is showing up in my “Current Login” list and since I live on the other side of the planet theres no way that I’d login to my account from Texas. The hacker’s ip is not in my authorized ip list so does that mean someone is trying to hack my account? or the hacker already have access into my account???

Can someone please answer me? I’m super worry at the moment since I’ve invested quit a lot of time and effort into this account since aug last year. Thank You!

P.S I’ve changed my password and so far there isnt anything missing in my account so I assume it’s still in good standing.

I feel the same way too, I’ve very little interest in SAB W2 I’m taking a break on LS this month too.

I’d rather see Anet give us permenant new dungeon/map or new world mega boss or maybe just add a few sets of gw1 armors instead of this. SAB was fun as April fool event but doing it second time is kindda meh… like other mentioned “adding temporary content like this to us is basically no content.”

The massive zerg running below us really ruinning the experience. I love the fight, the challenge with different boss but sadly graphic lag kills me constantly especially with “Suriel the Blaze”. it’s not like i dont know how to fight her but due the the lag sometime it’s hard to dodge at the right moment when she cast the spell which instantly down the player. Also the camera is really annoying sometime all i see is my own butt and culling is bad when we have zerg group right below us when the fight start i cant see the boss at all… why cant anet make this a seperate instant and make it more enjoyable for everyone. Great idea, fun 1 on 1 fight but badly designed.

yea this is bs…
1. knocked down as soon as i got in the arena
2. knocked down when Halmi was standing still
3. knocked down even when he didnt attack at all
4. knocked down when I got close to him.
4. knocked down when i was just running…. wtf.

Stability is no use… dodge wont work. anet plz fix ur game!!!

those exotic boxes from champ are like the new dragon coffer… i opened at least 50 of them today and got nothing. oh well 950 to go before i get the new weapon….

This kind of crap happen to me time to time. Usually the moron who started the dungeon decided to swap charater @ final boss for exp and got everyone kicked. But yea it really suck if you got booted from arah p4 consider the time you guys spent in the long dungeon.

This can be solo with ranger easiely. Just use longbow(1500 range) and shorbow stay near the mortar and range the runner and break aggro by running to the back. And remember to turn pet aggro off.

Start with shortbow Concussion Shot >Crippling Shot >Poison Volley. Switch to longbow knock plunderer back with Point Blank Shot and finish with Rapid Fire and if you have problem with aggro use Hunter’s Shot for the stealth

The difficulty scale with more players so solo seems to be the best way of getting this done.

yes you can, any item can be “unsoulbound” by transmuting them with “white” gear(cheapest item which doesnt soulbound when you wear them) and make soulbound item “account bound”. To unsoulbound the hobosack you will need to buy a backpack set(eg. quaggan/charr backpack set). After you unpack the backpack set, you’ll get a white back piece which you can use it to transmute the hobopack into account bound item. Have fun!

I waited and waited until normal coffers drop below 1.2s. bought 3500 coffers and got 5 tickets. I think I’m lucky.

Anyway, it’s now a good time to buy normal coffer if you havent got any ticket they are fairly cheap atm(around 1s).

first time i did this 5 of us took the upper route, wipe out the mobs and when we go to kiel, she bugged out(same position from the screenshot in early post). nothing we can do had to restart.

possible solution:
2nd time my team split into 2 grp, 1st grp use the jumping plateform to get to the top and trigger the door and wait there. 2nd grp go through the door with kiel and aggro the mobs to her. kiel will say something and charge towards the mob. finished the mob and she move to the control and you can talk to her to attempt the final battle.

yes please triple the wurms health! this happens to me 3 times wurm dies in 2 seconds either the event never trigger or I just fail to tag the wurm which lead to no chest spawn.

goto “My Account” → Security → Authorized Networks → and “Remove” the ip from CN.

if you havent read this article. do it now! And make sure you use long password that is unique to this game.

My account has unauthorized China ip from the whitelist which i didnt approve, I submit the ticket and ask the support to remove the ip for me in Dec 20. The ticket went through 4 support staffs, two of the staff are welling to help by asking me to verify my account and provide some info to proof that I’m the rightful owner of the account which i did immediately. But when the ticket went back to the queue the other 2 staffs just gave me automated response after I gave them the info the other 2 staffs requested.

I’m just very frustrated since this is going no where. I’m hoping you can help me out here since my ticket is 10 days long. [Incident: 121220-001822]

Kreidas>> hummm… so you too have China ip in your whitelist and I assume you never authorized those ip and never get email for ip approval? You’ve been targeted by hacker as well! Highly recommend you to change your password for the account and email.

no it’s not an automated response. I’ve already reply to this ticket twice and I’ve also let them know my home ip and specific hacker’s china ip which I want them to remove.

I remeber Gaile mentioned in one of the thread that we can have unathorized ip remove by contacting support but it seems that they are unable to do so in my case… :-(

you need to submit a ticket to remove the unauthorized ip from your whitelist. I recently discovered that I have a china ip in my whitelist which i never authorized and I’m still waiting the support to remove it. But I’d highly suggest you use longer and stronger password for email and gw2 account.

The things that puzzled me the most is that since the hacker was able to approve their ip in my whitelist they must have known my password for my email and my account in order to trigger the ip authentication email(which I never receive). But my account is still in one piece, nothing is missing so far. I scanned my computer with antivirus/malware and nothing was found and I always have the firewall running(incoming and outgoing traffic nothing unusual). I also checked my email recent login ip from this month and only my ip was shown. so the question is how did hacker approve their ip on my whitelist in the first place??? I hope someone with the IT background can explain to me what’s going on here? what am I missing? I dont wanna get hack what else can I do to improve my security other than anet’s suggestion?

I also have unauthorized ip from china in my network approval list yesterday which of course I never approved. My account hasnt been hacked yet, everything is still in one piece. I’ve created a ticket [Incident: 121220-001822] still waiting for the support team to remove the unauthorized ip from china. I’m hoping someone here could help me speed up the process. I’m p*ssing my pants after reading what had happend to Crystal.

can you guys just auto patch the players who chose “hatchery” to the other path? this is getting insane and unbearable.

Hi Gaile, I’m very happy to know that 3000 bot account banned. But I’ve encounter bigger and bigger bot group running on some of the map I’ve visited today. I just reported 20+ ranger bot with 20 bears running in circle killing everything on it’s path. And it’s getting more and more difficult for me to report them effectly because not only do they drastically decrease my framerate but clicking on 20 stacked bots with similar look and maxing with 20 bears can be very frustrating sometime.

Many players chose to turn away from those “bot train” because they are pain in the kitten to report and time consuming. Hopefully anet can give us an “AoE report spell” that’d be very cool and make reporting large bot group easily…..

I think I’m probably the “rare user” whose running GW2 on below minium system requirement. The beta was not too enjoyable(5-10) but after the released day the fps was better(10-30) and in playable state IMO (I’m able to level five lv20+ characters without any problem) but after today’s patch the FPS went back to 5-10 again and become difficult to join any event when lots players shows up in the area.
