Ok guys, there have been a lot of topics that all call for nerfs on this and that. But, taking a serious look at Ele, how would you go about nerfing it?

Personally I would:

-reduce the stat bonus from the Celestial amulet from 560-480 <— no its okey

-reduce the damage bonuses from Pyromancer training and Burning rage from 10% to 7% (similar to how the Guardian +% to burning got reduced) okey with that

-reduce the burning duration of Drakes breath from 3s to 2s <— no, revert the burning " buff "

-reduce the Ring of Fire burn stacks from 3 to 2 <— no, revert the burning buff

-increase Soothing Ice ICD from 20s to 30s <—- are you kidding?!!?? decrease it to 15 sec, its too weak for 3 sec update and 20 downtime…

-reduce the Protection duration from Elemental swapping from 5s to 2s <— no, if you dont play earth traitet its your only protection…

= revert burning changes, fix poison bug, revert vigor nerf and fix mesmer or stealth.

after patch i have a 100% win in WvW on my ele ( 1 on 1 )
its easier than pvp because you can mix your stats

aim for:
2000 attack +
300 heal +
300 con dmg +
30 % crit chance +
16000 life +
2800 armor +
170 % crit dmg+
without buffs

1. Diamond Skin: Now grants 2 seconds of resistance upon switching attunements.
2. Stone Heart: this trait is perfectly fine. Eles cannot camp a single attunement, there’s nothing passive about switching to earth when bursted.
3. Blinding Ashes: This trait is underpowered, not overpowerd. Make it’s cooldown per target and it should actually be viable even with 5 seconds cooldown. Blind is the easiest condition to get rid of.
4. Tempest Defense: another perfectly fine trait. Could actually need a little buff.
5. Burning: completely remove burning from Necros and Mesmers. Make it an exclusive damaging condition for Eles and Guardians and Engis

i think they will bring some black lion %%% action to charakter slot (20 % or maybe 50 %).

Sounds like anet “balance” to me

Dont forget Elementalist, from OP already to buff, buff, buffffffff, buff.

watch the ele changes again…
there is not that much buffs..

- cele amu get a nerf
- boon from 30% to 10%
- ele losing alot of life (hits classes with low basic life more than classes with more basic life)
- the vigor nerf punish lowlife classes more than other classes / same as the condition change
-you STILL have to play arcane for beeing competive

+ a little qol
+ attuement from 10 sec → 8.5 sec
+ Elemental Attunement
+ Soothing Disruption

= … meeh, we still playable

I agree, Daydreamer set in general looks the best so far! BUT, i can’t get over myself here.. and i have to express myself, why are last 4 Longbow releases so CHEAP and BORING looking, so THIN that what ever effect you add, its not even visible?

TL;DR: PLEASE, show some love to Longbow, and spend 5 more min while designing them, because they are horrible :S

EDIT: Just look last 4 weapon releases of LONGBOW, it’s a joke..

This class biggest flaw seems to it was the first class created.

There are 2 things to bring Elementalist in line..

1. Give Elementalist more life (like Mesmers, Ranger, Engi)
2. OR give Elementalist 20 % more damage than all other classes (for beeing the weakest)

elemental Attunement was the basic skill for elementalist.. oh i was wong :/
i thought elemental Attunement becomes a minor skill… witch only triggers on yourself… and with mastertrait it triggers for allies..oh i was wrong

i was a little naive because i thought elemenatlist can skill in offensive traits and do NOT need so much skills for defensiv to survive anymore.. oh i was wrong

you are right, we see not much hackers / cheaters but they are here.
every second AC sellers are Bug users ( skipping by swimming..; killing boss while under water…)
in WvW there was / are many cheaters ( speed hackers, no wall, stealth killers )
and in PvP i saw teleporting and speed hackers.

But you are right there are 0.001% cheaters/hackers, its a good and mostly fair game.

As GW1 pvp player it was very hard to get 50 points.. ( i end up @ 48/50 )
And if u only want the Skins ?! Take them.. most gw1 ppl wanted the titel like " legend of mists " or " ghostly Hero " NOT the skins : )))))

i use a green fractal box for important things. Its always filled with second armor set/ Bufffood and second / third weapon set.
The other important things third armor more weapons other Bufffood is on Slot 1-20.

Empty Inventar = 70 / 160 :/

i have cabel and very best connection to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DE-CIX.

Do these delays happen during/after a massive 3way battle?
’cause those can clog the hell out of the wvw map servers.

its only at main time and at eternal battlegrounds.
its outside a fight too, but not always :/

if u like a legendary because u like the skin take the legendary.
If u think u need a legendary only to have one than change the game, or take the legendary for nice pretty purple and use the saw skin.
