After testing ~ 50 games on my bad MMR i think its time for a balance patch.
Dragon Hunters bow deals a little to much dmg
Revenant heals a little too much while doing damage
Reaper have a little too much life
tempest is a little too slow and too much tanky
daredevil is a little like a teleporting minion
berzerker .. dont know.. never saw a warrior in the game
Scrapper has a little too much might or too much sustain
druid dont know.. :/

I loved them very much.
i never played in ebg because it was bad design … and laggy and too much blobbing..
since “hot” i was 1 time in WvW and it was … terrible ..
they killed wvw for me.. i hate the ebg and the new borderlands are a joke …
i was a solo / small group player, now iam back to 90 % spvp …
the best part: i wanted to have rune of the leadership in wvw for my ele… forget it.. you have to grind 1000 hours @ dragon stand to get the runes.
They are NOT obtainable in WvW …..

1) overloading 4 sec → 3 sec
2) while overloading → you can swich attunement without self interrupting
3) Harmonious Conduit → baseline
4) recharge 20 sec → 15 sec

Ranger specific:
- Light armor classes get +25% stamina regeneration increase.
- Heavy armor classes get -25% stamina regeneration decrease.
- Fixed the boring meta, without nerfing berserker or making them not viable anymore by revamping PvE enemy AI, so that enemies are actually fighting back.

PvP should not affect PvE. Keep it separate.

TL,DR: Balancing WvW / PvP / PvE solely based on PvP is not working and never will. Bring back different balancing for both WvW / PvP and PvE because the PvE content is being harshly restricted to that of a PvP ruling authority. It’s like the you know who facist(his name is changed to kitten in this forum) invading poland to share it’s omnificent ruling because it thinks that is ‘balancing’.

because of your stupid broken pvp point hold system you punish all wvw ele roamers.
The thing is they’ve now nerfed PU because of all the idiots who didn’t take the time to figure out what was going on.
This will affect power builds more than condition builds. Sure condi PU will get its stealth toned down too but because the torch trait is still giving 2-3 times more cool down reduction than it should you’re not gonna see much change for that build.
What you will see is all the fotm power mesmers either sticking to mesmer condition or rolling condition ghost thief. Those are the real hideous class in WvW right now, can have 2 hiding on inner of a keep and there will be little to no tell and 2 can flip it before the swords come up.

The best form of roaming is with a group of 3-5 players, if you can have that, then you’re golden. Take camps, contest towers and keeps while your server blob is messing with the enemy’s blob, while getting exp, gold, drops and ascended mats. Run into a enemy roaming group? Then let the fun begin. Seriously, if you’re not doing it this way, you better try the Mists or join the K-train, otherwise you’ll definitely grow poor and starve on item/material farm.
Solo roaming has been losing flavor for a long time and now it’s practically gone outside of stealth profession/builds which sport the most unbalanced setups for 1v1 in WvW but can deal with 1vX situation very well. Even so, like it was already mentioned, it is the least rewarding activity if you’re only doing it for dueling or looking for 1v1’s.

The main problem with condition damage is Burn and the main problem of burn is that eles can inflict insane amount of burn damage in celestial amulet and absurd damage in condition equipment.
How to resolv the “problem” of burn?
First of all: what’s the thing that make Burn “OP”?
The answer is easy: MIGHT.
Might give 30 of Power and 30 of Condition damage. But 30 points of Power don’t increase the damage as 30 points in Condition damage do!
Elementalists can stack up 20 stack of might “easy” during a fight blasting all they’re firefields with the high amount of blast finisher skills they have.
The solution can be:
Reduce the amount of Condition Damage that Might give!!!
What if might grant 30 points of Power and 15 points of Condition Damage?
With 20 stacks of might a cele ele will still reach a insane amount of power for a cele class, but will no more be able to inflict a insane amount of burn damage, still if the ele play in carrion/rabid.
All the other condition classes don’t focus on might why they haven’t all that chances to obtain it (exept for engi?) and condition damage builds will still be able to inflict very good condition damage still without all that condition damage given by might, expecially in spvp.
That will reduce the condition damage of a ele by 300-375, making it more in line with all the other classes and be unable to inflict exagerated burn damage with a full stack of might, expecially while in cenestial.
That can be done in spvp and not in pve?
I don’t think so, but that change can be a not tremendously bad thing still for condition damage classes in pve or dungeon.

it was the hidden elite skill from ele, because all elite from ele are op, like all skills with zero recharge.
1/4 cast time : “go to the forum and cry how OP all of the ele skills are” zero recharge.

Bad example my friend. D/D Cele Ele has no counter in the same way that other classes do. That is why the OP is writing a complaint about it.

This thread is based on the premise that DD ele will receive nerfs sooner rather than later. Please do not discuss if you think this is justified or not. The point of this thread is to propose some intelligent ways to nerf it, since there has been a history of far-fetched ways to nerf obvious problems from Anet’s side.
Numero uno:
Nerf ring of fire. This skill is the main source of burning, and consequently the main culprit when it comes to catching out players that are not fully aware of how ele works. This skill is not fun to use, since you completely rely on your opponent to not know/pay attention, and not fun to play against, since it’s counterintuitive for this one mediocre particle effect to apply more burning than an entire channel of drake’s breath for example.This skill is way out of line, and I don’t understand the reason why they chose this one out of the entire ele skillset to buff so hard when the burning changes hit. Proposed change: Change burn stacks to 1 and/or add a 0.5s icd on getting burned by this skill.

Nerf cleanse on cantrips. This one might seem a bit far-fetched, but let me explain.There used to be a lot of play to watching an eles attunements with regard to condi application. You’d time your condis (particularly chill), until after the ele left water, screw up his rotation and thus gain the upper hand by intelligent decision making. However ever since we got the new water line, the amount of cleanse ele has outside of water attunement is incredibly high, which has more or less led to this depth being lost. We’re talking cleansing fire+traited cleansing fire+armor+lightning flash for a total of 10 cleanses not tied to water. 1 more if you count regen+frost aura when critically hit.

Nerf shocking auraThis one is specifically aimed at WvW, where running -33% air cooldowns with lightning rod turns shocking aura into a monster. Especially since it goes on cooldown when used, not when it ends, which means shocking aura uptime when traited is nearly 25%. Same reasoning as with ring of fire, it’s not a lot of fun to have so much of your damage rely on your opponent making a mistake (in this case hitting you with shocking aura up)

No again, We need Buffs in WvW not nerfs, you can play Staff backline or DD Ele.
And a mixxed armor DD is NOT OP. You have to skill against all classis and NEED that stupid -36 (-40 % ) anti condis food. You cant hide like a mesmer or thiev or ranger… or engi ..
Ele Roaming is nearly dead because all the mesmers and condi players..you have to play 2-3 times better to kill condi players..

No, again :/ Remove that **** attunement cooldown complety and bring ICD ( 5-8 sec ) to Elemental attuement and NERF diamond skin and stone heart.
This two are the real pain for Ele. Diamond skin should REDUCE the duration, but not ignores conditions. And Stone heart should reduce the damage from critical hits and NOT ignore them.
I would say buff the Class mechanic by REMOVING the chilled punishement.

Every day i see more condi mesmers.. More than 70 % are condi mesmers.
Followed by condi necrco any condi thieves..
You cant fight 1 on 1 them. You only can run away..
Is it time to play toxic / lame builds too?

i dont know any top roamers or roamer guilds, but iam a very good roamer since november ’12.
over 90 % wins in 1 on 1 without cheese build.
DD ele with only 4/14 cele stats ~ balanced build.
t4/t5 matchup
..playstyle:
- ignore solo players under lv 80
- ignore solo players without buffs
- take camps
- take points
- be mobile scout
- trolling enemy small groups
- be friendly
- if you get interrupted in a 1 on 1 by other enemie(s).. kill him/her twice.
I will never understand why people hate conditions so much…
- Conditions ignore toughness
- You don’t need ferocity or precision, so why not go full dire
- At this moment condition burst comes pretty close to power burst
- 40% condition duration foods (increase and decrease)
- The PvE changes that bleed into WvW and SPvP (also vice versa, but I don’t play PvE so not sure how much of an impact it makes)
- Perplexity runes, 5 confusion stacks every 15 seconds
- Passive gameplay of applying conditions then turtling
AND instant STEALTH or BE IN STEALTH while doing this all
To Anet:
My friends pruchased game recently, they hit 80 level after several weeks and bored about the PVE content. They watched some WvW videos on youtube and interested in WvW content. Unfortunately, they accidently joined the Isle of Janthir Server at their beginning of the game. We are sea players, the WvW at that tier is a desert, they were roaming for an hour but can’t find anyone to fight with. They purchased about 10000 gems with cash and trying to get into the T1 servers everyday. The tried for a month but they discovered that everytime they log into the game the server status is permanently full. I told them T2 server is a more horrible place that T8 as you will blobbed by YB everyday. There are no fun there. They are exhausted to get into T1 server and claim that they may leave the game if they can’t get into T1 server within one month.
We can see that Anet’s new population politics is horrible. They ignore the feeling of non-na players. We can only have about one map queue in non-na timezone which means more ktrain and less fights. Meanwhile, they are blocking the new bloods to get into the T1 server and they are all dead in the desert T2-8 servers. Spread out the na players to different server may be a good idea but that will cause serious trouble to non-na timezones.
Lastly, my friends don’t care the prices to transfer to T1 server, either 1800 gems or 18000 gems. They are all rich , just take my money and let them transfer to T1 and let us play together. WvW will more deadly if you lock the servers ‘full’ after HOT is released. You are ruining the fun of WvW players.
Working as intended, join your friends on a lower tier.

ele is fine appart from burning, burning as a whole is too strong. if you can’t take out an ele in a Xv1 situation then it’s your fault.
and everything else than d/d ele is weak and needs buffs. just because there’s 1 strong build doesn’t mean a class is fine.
