Has anyone tried to call this phone number? If so, what was the outcome? I am more than tempted to give this route a try seeing how we are being ignored through the ticket system and the forums.

It is inexcusable that people have been charged for gems, did not receive them and then tickets go unresolved for WEEKS, in some cases. Issues in the internet retail sector like this are almost always resolved in 48 hours max. I am more than shocked that a company of this caliber would allow this to continue to the extent it has.

I can appreciate that the hacking problem is larger than we all realize and the bulk of
ANet’s resources are frantically combating this pervasive problem. Nevertheless, we deserve some official acknowledgement of the gem store issues in the “state of the game” updates at the very minimum.

After many failed attempts at purchasing gems with two credit cards, I tried to purchase gems via PayPal with no success. I made sure all of my PayPal information matched my game account (home address and e-mail) before initiating the purchase. Additionally, I am a long-standing and verified member of PayPal.

As we all know, the ability to purchase gems is an integral part of the game experience and I am growing rather frustrated with the entire issue. It is surreal that consumers are relegated to the position of pleading with a company to give them money! Moreover, the lack of any official response whatsoever is astounding.

While I appreciate NC Soft’s attempt at protecting their customers from fraud, my bank already has a well-established fraud alert system. Please remove any fraud alerts from my account post haste. I will verify and/or provide whatever information you wish to resolve this issue.

Like others here, I will not play or recommend this game until the gem store issue is fully acknowledged and addressed.

I reported the problem via the GW2 website ticket system and I was advised to report the bug in-game so pertinent game data can be transmitted along with the bug report.

I’m going to try this quest again and file the bug report in-game. I advise everyone to do the same, if you have not already done so. This is the only way to nail the problem so ANet can fix it.

Nothing better than the long range knockdown power of a nicely upgraded rifle! My human engineer never leaves home without it! He also carries a set of matched pistols, which are great for dungeon CQB.

The incendiary rounds you get with the flamethrower is my favorite combination with rifles and pistols.

I began my adventures in Tyria with my trusty, but old, 32-bit PC with mediocre memory and graphics capability. I figured at six years old, this old work horse deserves a quiet retirement. So, I just ordered a much more capable computer and it should arrive soon.

What is the procedure for reinstalling GW2 on my new computer? Do I simply install from the DVD and then the app will patch once I connect? Will my saved characters be available to me?
