I only said it wasn’t nice. I can’t believe you actually spent that much time quoting all that. Insulting leaders of other servers is not something one of the main leaders of MERC should do.

Tier 1 server in NA is one of the most stable tier in all of GW2.

Any server you choose will be fun. However most of the professorial veteran players are in JQ.

you are in denial if you don’t see the fact that JQ is declining…you won those previous matches by having the stronger SEA coverage and pvdoor other servers, you no longer have that advantage right now.

i predict JQ is gonna continue to lose, why? because they have players like you who keep believing that JQ is always superior, these people will never improve.

Indo gives a weekly motivational speech before reset. Seriously.

In regards to the no overtime policy, that is only in regards to mandatory and/or scheduled overtime. You are free to put in as much time as you desire as long as it isn’t so much that you get burnt out.

Lastly, the super secret arrow cart placement strats are only provided once you have completely transferred and established yourself as a member of the community. Our training classes include cake.

We need to recruit some more people during this time slot to keep it competitive between all the servers. Anyone from JQ/BG/anywhere interested in coming over and making a fight of it?

Our current crew is awesome, they just need a few more capable bodies to match the enemy numbers better.

As someone from SoR said a few weeks back,
SoS guilds to BG -> Bandwaggoners
SoS guilds to SoR -> True WvW guilds of SoS

If you ask any sensible SoR member, everyone will agree that we have gotten transfers, and we’re quite thankful for it. All of our friends in TSYM, AFS, HIRE and so on (I can’t recall everyone off the top of my head, I’m sorry! ) are valued members of our community and WvW strategy. I think the idea of bandwagoning simply comes from the volume of transfers; when SoS disbanded, Blackgate got what was perceived to be a much larger influx of guilds than SoR, hence the “stacking” accusations and whatnot. You cannot deny that your WvW capacity spiked as a result. Similarly with Kaineng, Blackgate received multiple guilds in one go, while SoR has received a number of guilds over the last few weeks in a more spread out manner. The difference is simply whether your WvW population increases in spikes, or incrementally.

As far as SoR donating gold: I listen in to our weekly WvW strategy meetings on TS, and the one thing that gets repeated and stressed every week is that we will not offer gold to other guilds. Should they choose to come over, we will be glad to run dungeons and help other guilds farm for gold, and I’m pretty sure we would also have folks who simply donated gold. However, I think that on principle, this is different from “buying” guilds. I’m sure we can accommodate transferring the last remaining members or whatnot, but we wouldn’t simply say “we’ll give you X gold to transfer,” nor would we meet demands of that nature. Our belief is that you should come to SoR because you want to be here, and if you aren’t willing to put in the time (to acquire gold) to immigrate over, then I’m not so sure how strong your commitment is.

Is the score ever really different besides numbers? JQ is in the lead, likely going to win again because they’ve got the coverage. SoR is about 4k points ahead of BG and BG is about 4k points behind SoR.

Not much is going to really change, besides the gaps getting bigger and occasionally BG will pull 48 hour shifts.
