i never seen a mesmer who uses mantra of pain so far. (level 80)
and it has low damage than number 1 skill. i would just press 1 instead of mantra of pain.
the developers should remove this skill. or it should cause daze or stun or confusion

phantasmal warden doesn’t go to the target unless i use shatter skill. he is melee phantasm. this is so stupid. but other melee phantasms go to the target if the target moves. phantasmal warden must go to the target.
and phantasmal warden has no combo. but it does confusion in ethereal field. what is wrong with the skill explanation?

other skills show me the duration when i move my mouse cursor over it. but chaos storm doesn’t show me the duration. i don’t understand it. chaos storm must show me the duration.

i selected malicious sorcery trait instead of temporal enchanter because i dont need more lonsger time.

now i am 80 level. i used confusing enchantment. but it is not very useful at all because it causes only one confusion. i want to use greatsword training.

another combo when i can’t use mirror blade or phantasmal berserker.
null field or feedback – mirror blade or phantasmal berserker – the prestige.

i will try daze, interrupt build in next time..

i selected all traits that enhance glamour skills and i use useful combos.
but you must be 80 level to build it.

i use scepter+torch and greatsword.
(i tried to build something that i can stack 25 confusions but it was too short time. confusions are gone already when i use next skills and it doesn’t even deal damages until enemy uses skill. and very hard to stack 25 confusions. if you want to stack 25 conditions, use phantasmal duelist and duelist traits.)
(if you use torch, you can blind foes every 4 seconds. use the prestige and cancel it and do it again.)

i use illusion of life because portal is not long range skill and veil’s recharge is too long. illusion of life is very useful when i play with others.

if you look at the screenshot, i couldnt select the confusing enchantment because i am 79 level. i didnt select it becausee it is hard to do it. foes must exit or enter their areas. i almost gave up to use glamour skills because of this trait.
(i thought of the into the void skill of focus weapon. but it was not useful because i must use temporal curtain before into the void. and phantasmal warden is so useless. even he doesn’t move unlike other melee illusions. very stupid. but i found a good skill to do it from greatsword. illusionary wave causes knockback. i can make foes exit their areas.)

You must disable auto-attack on ether bolt(scepter skill).
(i almost never use this skill because my phantasm is gone because of ether clone.
phantasmal berserker causes many confusions at once in ethereal field by combo finisher. it must not disappear.)

Combo 1(S+T): phantasmal mage – counterspell, illusionary counter – confusing images -(get closer to foes) null field – the prestige. (everyone around you get chaos armor by combo.)
<swap weapon>
Combo 2(G): feedback – phantasmal berserker – mirror blade – illusionary wave – mind stab. (i can cause confusions on everyone in the field. and every skills have long range except illusionary wave.)
<swap weapon>
Use counterspell – confusing images. and swap weapon – mirror blade – wait for recharges and do those combos again.

i gave up to use glamour skills before i know combos.
but now this build is very unique and not weak with combos.

play archeage if you want to build your house and ship.

there must be a function that i can find people to run a dungeon like the function in dungeon and dragons online. i can’t find even a person to run wayfarer of the waves dungeon now. this is too inconvenient. dungeon in gw2 is really funny. i hope i can find people to run a dungeon more easily. and i don’t want to type “LFG” anymore. and sometimes i am insulted when i type something in chat. please make this function.

Phantasm conditions using combo field ethereal from glamors is how you get 20+ stacks of confusion. Each shot through the field is a stack of confusion. 8 stacks per duelist if you time everything right. On top of their bleeds it is quite devastating.

Just a note if you are not familiar with combo fields… this has nothing to do with glamor traits. It’s just regular Null Field, Feedback, Staff number 5, Time warp… etc. Any projectile finisher, like the duelists unload, will trigger confusion.

duelist has only 20% combo chance..

you can turn off this option if you hate that you see damages that other people do. anyways i must see damages other people do. it is more funnier.

tonics are worthless. i can’t even sell them at TP or send them at mail.
i want to destroy all of tonics.
a suggetion.
let people sell tonics at TP or NPC at high price.

when i move mouse cursor over some skill icon, i see 900 range. but i can’t see the distance (yards) between me and the target i have selected. even if the skill tells me 900 range, it is useless because i can’t see the yards during battle. and i can’t even imagine about 900 range. 900 range? it is meter? or kilometer or mile?

look at the screenshot. i can see “2m” the distance during battle in other game. (2 meter)

this is too inconvenient that i can’t search only title in this forum. it searchs the contents….

i want to see damages other people do. i can see only damages that i do. it is too inconvenient for me.

i use scepter+pistol and sword+torch.
i am 70 level. i didnt even spend 20 trait points. but i do a lot of damages. i am wearing condition damages gears for duelist’s bleeding damages.
i have two combos.
1. confusing images+phantasmal duelist. (long range, single target)
it is highest damage on my build. use duelist at first and use confusing images. it will do a lot of damages in very short time. and Counterspell does blind foes but it is single target.

2. blurred frenzy+the prestige.(short range, multiple targets)
many enemies with low HP.
the prestige, cancel it(use mind stab)- blind signet- blurred frenzy- the prestige again . or i don’t cancel the prestige when i want to do burning damages. or i spawn phantasmal mage. and i swap weapon. and i use counterspell to blind foes. and duelist+confusing images. and i use counterspell again. and i spawn 3 duelists when i want to do highest damages. i can do 25 bleeds very quickly.
you can use stealth and blind foes every 5 seconds if you cancel the prestige.

i tried to make a build that i can cause 25 confusions on foe but i couldn’t find the way to do it. and it was so weak and not useful. and now i see duelists do more damages with bleeding. but i didn’t test my build in PVP or WvW.

if you look at the screenshot, i am using 2 stealth slot skills for fun.
but i will spend my trait points for clone skills or glamour skills and glamour skills recharge or signet recharge. (if have many trait points, i will spend my trait points for all types)

Clones apply conditions to nearby foes when they are killed like ghost kamikaze attack in DBZ. it is like landmine. i will spawn clones and i will use the prestige and run away and wait for cooldowns and until my clones are killed. enemies will attack my clones because i am invisible. (even if enemies don’t attack my clones, my clones do random conditions on target. only conditions.)

Glamour skills blind foes at target location. and Glamour skills cause confusion for 5 seconds to foes who enter or exit their areas. and Cause confusion when you blind an foe. it will cause many confusions on many targets.

i can’t decide between clones condition and Glamour skills. i will test both and choose strong one.

you can know what this rune is.
and there is no Rune of the Nightmare in TP. so i want to craft it. if i can’t craft it, i must farm the TA dungeon..

is it possible to craft Rune of the Nightmare? and what is the recipe? i searched gw2guru and other gw2 DB but i couldn’t find it. please help me.
