epidemic sucks. and i have played gw2 for 260 hours. i saw epidemic only 1 ~ 2 times.(but those guys who used epidemic died more easily than anyone. it is why i dont select epidemic. and when i use it, i see i don’t kill many enemies. epidemic is just childish noob skill.). and epidemic is just weak with low chance killing enemies. i can replace CPC for pure bleed build. but all other skills seem just weak. i select those 3 skills because only those 3 skills have high damage. and i don’t see any skill that is higher damage than signet of spite. just look at necromancer traits. 20% signet recharge faster increases speed. it means more higher damage. there is no more skill or trait you can do more damage. and i see i use signet of spite very often in game. why would you replace it? i will challenge the highest damage for the last attempt because everything was lame with bugs. i don’t care enemy gets many boons. if i do highest damage, i can kill everyone. i realized boons are not strong at all. i see many people who get as many boons as possible. but i see they just die like noobs.

i see bunch of people who complain about music and voice acting in other forum and real life. there should be one more option that i can change the current music and voice acting to more calm and kitten and awesome. it is so loud than skill effects. will they make different music and voice acting option? those voice acting and music make me feel my character is so weak. and i want different dance option. the dance is very stupid not even funny. they could make more popular or awesome dance. it is a fantasy game. they could make more better and stronger and cooler thing.

We don’t really have burst damage that can compare with that, but you can certainly use skills like corrupt boon and epidemic to turn group fights on your side. It helps a TON with epidemic if all players are targeting the same person, so get your groups organized.

I’ve seen bigger damage in WvW also, an ele in my guild showed me a video where he’s effectively doing 25k damage a second with meteor shower (since the meteors hit 5 players at once and there are multiple ones raining down from the sky). And he was able to cast 2 back to back.

it is my current best necromancer. most skills are immobilize and bleed. i just gave up many builds because of bugs. only this build worked in PVP. but i got bored at this build again because it has low damage. i will make more strong and critical build soon.

if you think necromancer is not weak, can you do this in world vs world? he kills many foes very quickly in WvW with few allies. i think it is 2~8k damage per 0.2 second. and he uses stealth and stun or daze. seems very overpowered.

but i didnt even do damage. it must be fixed like this. if i channeled over half and canceled , the skill goes full recharge. or if i didn’t channel half and canceled, the skill doesn’t go full recharge. half or 30% or 20% or 10%.

It’s more about psychology than anything else . People don’t like being forced to do something even a phrasing can make a difference. If you phrase it “You must represent us at all times”( a forceful tone ) people are going to be less likely to do so than “Please represent us at all times” . ( a friendly tone )

don’t say that. there is no one who wants to see this sentence in gw2 “represent us at all times”. when i say something, people criticize me anyhow. and i can’t counter attack them because i am not native english speaker. but it is very good when people say something that i wanted to say instead of me. imao.

i see many people who force others to represent their guild. but it is a very good system in game. people have the freedom to represent any guild and join many guils. if you don’t like this system, just uninstall gw2 and don’t bother other people. people who don’t like this system must uninstall the game. i don’t understand why they force other people to represent their guild. why do they so want to restrict the freedom?? it is so annoying whenever i join a guild and whenever i represent other guild. you have no right to say and force other people to represent your guild at all. please shut up. why did i post this? because i played this game for 297 hours. those people who say “represent my guild” were so annoying.

life transfer was interrupted. i didnt do a damage. and it went to full 40 seconds recharge. but when other skills are interrupted, i see about 4 seconds recharge. isn’t it unfair?

i don’t think 1 second chill is worthy. at least spinal shivers causes chill for 5 seconds. but it does very low damage(284 damage in PVP zone.). also are necromancer focus skills viable? just remove the damage. it is same as having nothing. and make focus skills more viable. mesmer focus skills have no damage but they are very viable. and reaper’s touch description says it hits 4 times but it hits only 3 times. even i tried it in the places where there are many golems in pvp zone. it hits many targets but only 3. it must cause fear instead of removing boons and chilling because there is no a trait for chilled foes. there is only fear and blind trait. fear trait seems fine but those skills cause fear for only 1 second. 1 second +0.5 second. it is same as having nothing. and i dont think making a trait for chilled foe is good idea. it should cause fear instead of chill or cause fear without damage.

i went in to do some spvp the last few days, and when in death shroud i know you can be knocked back, but i did not realize you could be dazed(i think it is) so your unable to use your skills(part of the reason i also thought no daze interupt of skills aside from knockback is cause in death shroud you don’t see any sort conditions?

if you enter death shroud, you become a sandbag. you can’t even move. it is what the developers wanted to show you. death shroud should be immune to CC. but i dont like death shroud. just delete death shroud. make skeletons and zombies.

i have 80 level mesmer. i was very happy and i thought this game is very funny. but i got bored at mesmer because i have no a friends at all. i can’t even run dungeon. there is no one at some dungeons. i don’t want to run same dungeon over and over again. but people play only easy and fast dungeon. but i see many people who play with their friends and they have voice chat. but i have no mic. and it is too hard to play with them. because they are low levels. or they farm craft materials all day. sometimes they do world vs world. but as i said, i got bored at 80 mesmer. because playing mesmer was too simple and easy. i can’t play world vs world with 13 level necromancer. but i don’t want to do level up 80 again. it was too hard to level up 80 for me. heart quests are very lame with very low exp. i must run dungeon. but running same dungeon is lame. the dungeons don’t have even random system. i dont want to do it one more. warrior, ranger, elementalist are just typical and lame. necromancer is an unique class. and necromancer looks more cool than others.

i think there should be more skeletons, bone draon, zombies, evils in weapon skills and elite skills instead of death shroud, Lich form, plague. lich form and plague is just too simple without a strategy. you just become a form. and you just spam skills with many healths. this is too simple and lame. it should be bone dragon or skeleton king or zombie king.

when i was playing mesmer and reading threads in mesmer forum before playing necromancer, many people said temporal curtain, into the void is very useful. many people picked this skill as one of best 3 skills. do you think spectral wall is as good as temporal curtain or not? can you say it is one of best skills in necromancer skills? i feel like i am not as happy as playing mesmer when i play necromancer.

i see many people who heal full health with a skill or they heal a lot many times. for example, i had full death shroud and full health. i fought a player in pvp zone. he did a lot of damage than me while i do 1k or 3k in death shroud. and death shroud was over, and his health was below 30%, and he healed full health. and he did a lot of damage again. i used well of blood. it healed few. and i died. what did i do wrong??.. isn’t it because necromancer skills are weak and not instant?

hey mesmer summons so many illusions.
necromancer must summon as many things as mesmer. there should be summoning skills in necromancer weapon skills instead of death shroud and stealing life. i like one good thing than various hybrid thing. i never think most people in the world like life steal+death shroud than skeleton+zombie.
if you say various hybrid thing is fun, why is mesmer not various hybrid class? mesmer should steal something and become a giant monster or flying illusion like necromancer. mesmer summons too many illusions. it is not funny at all by your logic. but it is very wrong. necromancer must summon many things like mesmer.

i agree with you. it is a sandbag class. it is not necromancer. those developers must read the wiki and listen to real gamers. they must conduct a poll about summoning skeletons, bone dragons, evils, zombies, raising dead VS death shroud, plague, life steal, rich form when they develop this game.
most people obviously love skeletons and zombies than death shroud. it is why many latest games have zombies in these days. once imagine necromancer summons powerful zombies and skeletons…. those developers made a big mistake. they could make more money. once conduct a poll “will you buy this game for skeletons and zombies VS for death shroud, stealing life”?
almost every latest games have zombies or aliens in these days.

The 573 (2x) damage listed means that it does 573 damage over the course of two hits, which 225 (in two hits) seems about right against a light golem. 225×2 is 550, so you’re losing 23 damage (about 4%) of damage to damage reduction from armor.

it did 573 damages x2 1time(it is not critical hit). and it did 225 damage x2 3times. and he repeated it. one single hit did 573 damage. i don’t understand you mean fully. do you mean it is right that 225×2 is 550? but it was 573×2.

i show you the cycle he repeats.
573 damage x2 – 225 damage x2 – 225 damage x2 – 225 damage x2 – 573 damage x2….

once try it in pvp zone.
i didn’t select Training of the Master in screenshot. so it did 404 damage x2.

most people in other forum and site and real life friends say this is not necromancer. and this necromancer is weak and hard than other classes. he must summon as many things as mesmer. mesmer can spawn illusions almost every 5 seconds. once google “necromancer” on google. necromancer is a summoner not stealing life vampire. and most people like skeletons and evils and raising dead than something like death shroud or plague. they say it is funny that necromancer has various skills. but mesmer is one good type summoner. even mesmer weapon skills are summoning skills. utility skills are summoning skills with instant interrupt skills. necromancer is lame and weak because of those life steal and death shroud and plauge, rich form. most gamers think necromancer is a summoner. he must summon bunch of weak things or one strong thing. it is obvious that summoning things is funnier and more easy to be balanced than one man life stealing sandbag.

do you feel your necromancer is strong when you selected deadly strength? every classes have traits like deadly strength. i dont think it is very useful because people do 20k damage with one hit in world vs world without this trait.

this is why i posted many threads that compare necromancer to mesmer. i have 80 level mesmer. i played it for 250 hours. i didn’t complain too much when i play mesmer. and i thought gw2 is a funny and balanced game even if some traits are bugged. most skills of mesmer are instant. and they are very strong and useful. and there is a mantra skill that i can cause 2 seconds daze 3 times instantly anytime. 1 second fear+0.5 second(50% longer trait) is laughable. but most necromancer skills are long duration and weak and not instant. if i say necromancer is weak than others in chat, people say necromancer is not weak. and they say they are topscoreboard. you can win anyone if you are very good at necromancer and if you have good team. but still they say necromancer is strong even if i say this class has so many bugs. they are just bunch of trolls or something. they see only good things and what they want to see even if there are so many bad things. they see only their build. and they say necromancer is strong. i hope they play necromancer with 100 bugs. don’t fix the bug. make more bugs for them. it seems like they love this. i am talking about the ingame experience. everythings i said are true because i played this game for 250 hours. it is enough time to know the balance. even if they fix all bugs, i doubt necromancer will be viable in real fight. they must remove those useless traits. bunch of traits are just useless. for example, 1 second + 0.5 second is useless. look at mesmer. there is a trait that i can use mantra one more time. and i can 2 seconds daze 3 times.
2 seconds instant daze 3 times vs 1.5 second ground targeting/death shroud fear.
it seems like necromancer is just weak themed class.
and compare minions to phantasms. some phantasms have even projectile reflection. 3 phantasmal warlocks normally do 15k damage when you play with others.
they must remove casting delay or make necromancer skills more stronger. i just die while i use a skill because i have no any instant skills. death shroud is a sandbag. you just die while you use life transfer. because most people in PVP do a lot of damage in few seconds. even if you have many healths, if you can’t do a lot of damage per second, it is useless.

how to play:
when you use chaos armor or retaliation, there must be many your team mates and no one must be attacking you while you summon minions and well of blood or spectral wall. and when you use retaliation, you must have full death shroud. you can get death shroud from spectral wall(spectral walk doesn’t work. bug?).

but i really dont know this build is viable in pvp or not because you must not die while you use prepare it. but there are many people in world vs world, everyone will gain chaos armor or retaliation around you. i played this build several times in pvp. it seems chaos armor is not viable. it is very short like 2 or 3 seconds.

i got over 10 stacks of might. but it doesn’t increase much damages. it is same as having nothing. and other people do 20k damage in pvp and WvW. a might should increase 3% or 5 or 10% of total damage.

skill effects are more beautiful and huge and complicated whenever you level up.
monsters die in different way by skill effects like ice, poison etc.

i played almost every online games in the world. this two ideas were very good. it makes leveling more funnier. if monster is killed by ice, he is frozen and broken or becomes very cold and white and blue. or if monster is killed by fire, he is burned and bcomes black. if monster is killed by sword, his body is dismembered. it is very funny. i saw it in diablo game series.

Look, Imma tell it like it is. This DS excuse is simply a bunch of BS. You cannot, cannot justify leaving Necros in the state we are in because of one darn mechanic. Imma say something else that needs to be said too. DS is NOT this all powerful skill that people shutter when it is used. “OMG DEATH SHROUD!” Yet that is how it is being treated. DS life bar gets eaten to nothing by thieves, warriors and mesmers. The most you can hope to stay in DS is maybe 5-8 seconds and then do what, oh yeah, life blast. Pffft. When I am getting ripped to pieces in a matter of seconds by really OP skills from Warriors and Thieves and then getting turned into a freaking Moa that seems to last the duration of the fight, Oh wait, there is no fight in Moa form, youre just freaking dead! Then you can imagine how sick and tired im getting of hearing this myth that DS is this potentially OP skill that could change the game somehow. That is simply laughable. Jon is worried about DS being OP in the hands of GOOD players while other profession are OP in the hands of freaking mediocre ones. I am sick to death of this BS excuse and Jon Peters needs to get his act together and fix this darn class. Ive personally had it up to here (hand over head) with all this BS surrounding DS. Its garbage and not acceptable anymore.

if you google necromancer and look necromaner at the wiki, necromancer is a death summoner. they must make more minions like a lot of crazy sick skeletons or a bone dragon or evils. there should be summoning skill bar. he just steals life force like vampire.

I would like to see Master of Terror renamed and be more of an overall crowd control buffing skill.

Master of Torment: Increases duration of Fear, Chill, Immobilize, Cripple by 30%.

no. 1 second + 30% of 1 second is still useless. mesmer can do 2 seconds daze 3 times. and they can daze even multiple enemies by an illusion.
