easy and simple well necromancer

i think this is best necromancer so far for PVP i have tried to build best necromancer without sleep for 2 days. all traits and skills looked bad. anyways i made a final attempt. “well necromancer”. finally i can heal a lot. and i don’t die very easily.

weapons: axe+dagger or warhorn (single target, retaliation) / staff (multiple target)
(i really like single taget+multiple targets weapon sets)

i selected all traits that are related with well. and weakening blood, bloodthirst, greater marks. (i will try Soul Reaping trait for more life forces instead of greater mark. because life force is kind of my health. heal is very important as a necromancer.)

rune: Superior Rune of Vampirism. (steal health)
sigil: Superior Sigil of Blood. (steal health)

tips.
1. Unholy feast: cripple, retaliation. before you use ground targeting skills or after you use ground targeting skills, you must use this skill. and whenever you are in danger.
2. Chillblains+putrid mark combo: it causes weakness. (but if you have so many conditions, just use putrid mark first.)
3. You need very fast hands for ground targeting skills. i dont use fast-cast ground targeting because i make many mistakes if i enable fast-cast ground targeting. and you need many experiences to do very well with this build because each skills have different effects. you must finish them with speed and accuracy. memorize them perfectly. you won’t die easily. because 4 well skills remove conditions and heal a lot.
4. Reaper’s mark, flesh golem charge, doom. flesh golem’s charge, wail of doom: you must interrupt enemy.
well of blood is awesome because its duration is 10 seconds. i steal health for 10 seconds.

ehh.. my eyes really hurt now. i feel like i am dying. i never seen a person who is well necromancer for 259 hours in game. so i think most people dont know this build. once try it.. i wanted to make 5 or 10 minutes video. but it was so funny to play this build. i played for hours and made 30 mins video of this build.

there is a trait that bleeds foe when i do critical hit in mesmer traits. and it worked on phantasms. and my phantasmal dueslists caused many bleedings. (i could do 25 stacks of bleed in 5~10 seconds) but why doesn’t my minion cause chill on target?? this is why necromancerr is so weak…. this trait is just useless. no one is going to use it even if shadow fiend causes chill. i doubt developers played this necromancer. even kids know this class is slow and weak.

it casts enfeebling blood when entering death shroud.
but just look at the trait in game. there is no cooldown on this trait.
this game is so weird. if it has cooldown, why didn’t developer write it on the ingame description? and many skills and traits are lack of description like this. some skills tell me cooldown and so many other skills and traits that have cooldown don’t tell me cooldown or something. description says phantasmal warden has no combo finisher. but it has combo finisher.

i don’ see much difference. those traits are just useless. it should be ‘extra damage per condition’ like phantasmal warlock or something. even i used vulnerability. look at thief. they do 10k damage at once. i died in 5 seconds when i met thief.

(this is based on PvP zone. everyone is 80 level.)
1. feast of corruption.
it must be “Extra damage per condition: 8%” not “Damage per condition: 8%”
enemy about like 10 conditions. but this skill did 980 damage with critical hit. but if enemy has like 5 conditions, phantasmal warlock does 3~5,000 damage with critical hit. and i can spawn 3 phantasmal warlocks. necromancer is so weak.

there must be more skills that have extra damage per condition in necromancer because necromancer can do many conditions.

2. consume conditions
i had about 10 conditions. and i used this skill. it didn’t heal even 40% of my health. and i just died. a very unfair thing is mesmer’s healing skills are better than necromancer’s healing skills. blood fiend and well of blood and consume conditions are just trash.

3. terror trait.
terror must do damage based on conditions like phantasmal warlock. (Extra damage per condition). this trait is just useless. and it does damage only 1~2 times with Master of Terror trait.(40 damage+700 damage at 80 level. people have over 20,000 health. it is just nothing.) also Master of Terror is a useless trait. it is only 2~3 seconds. and there are no many fear skills. i see only 2 weapon skills that cause fear. staff and death shroud.

4. Target the Weak.
2% increased damage for each condition on a foe.
it should be Extra damage per condition: 5 or 8% like phantasmal warlock(but phantasmal warlock is 10%.)

Many skills that do a lot of damage with very long duration(9 seconds ~ 33 seconds.) are just useless in PvP. and people can be immune to conditions or remove conditions. and it takes too many seconds to do damage. I JUST DIE. I CAN’T EVEN DO DAMAGE. look at mesmer skills. they do a lot of damage without condition. and clones are Overpowered in PvP. people must be able to see which one is real one after 3~5 seconds. it is too hard to kill mesmer.

i don’t understand why those skills that have extra damage per condition do very low damage. are those skills bugged???? number 1 weapon skills(like blood curse) do at least 500~1,000 damage. even if those skills have extra damage per condition, it does under 1,000 damage. just i would use auto-attack skills instead of them.

good thing about necromancer is many traits of necromancer cast skills.(i get spectral armor at 50% health.). flesh golem, signet of spite, corrupt boon, well of power, spectral grasp are awesome in pvp. i made corruption signet death shroud necromancer. http://i.imgur.com/Fx1rM.jpg
same scepter+dagger / axe+focus. i become death shroud as many as possible to gain stability and fury. now i don’t die too much in pvp. i tried plague signet but there was no a chance to use this signet in real pvp battle. and i just died by many damages.
really bad thing about necromancer is the healing skills are so bad. it doesn’t even heal 50% of my health. anyways i think this is best necromancer.

now i will try corruption shroud build. because well of power and corrupt boons are very strong in real pvp battle. a warrior or guardian came to me with about 10 boons, and i used corrupt boons, all his boons became conditions and he couldn’t run away and he died.

life steal is too weak. those are just useless in real battle. also terror trait(fear does damage) is useless. developers must do something on it. spectral death shroud build is much better than critical life steal build. i use scepter+dagger / axe+focus. i am trying to build fear necromancer. but terror is too weak. it does only 700 damage. i think this trait is just useless. it must do more incredible damage or increase duration of fear. i will build bleed or life leach necromancer because fear is too weak. and there are only 2 fear skills.

there must be a hotkey that disables talking to NPC while running dungeon. when i run CM, Zojja and other NPC are really annoying. i can’t loot items or i can’t fight because of them. whenever i press F to loot items, if there is NPC, it is really annoying.

for example, if i press Ctrl+Alt+Z, it disables talking to NPC. awesome.

function to see everyone on map in world vs world

this is teamplay game. but i can’t see where everyones are in world vs world. but when i am in party, i can see where everyones are. there must be a function that shows everyone on map in world vs world. i feel like i always fight alone or with small amount people. i can see only people who are nearby me on map in WvW. this is too inconvenient for me. but when i play with my huge guild, i know where everyones are. and i see people who have no guild fight alone. and they just die alone. and they don’t follow many people. this is not fair at all.

look at the screenshot and the damage. i just used feast of corruption in WvW. isn’t it too unfair?? i want to compare feast of corruption to phantasmal warlock. because both are very similar skills. i played mesmer before playing necromancer. my phantasmal warlock did 1~5k damages in WvW. if i spawn 3 phantasmal warlocks, they do 3 times more damages. the target had many conditions. but it did only 400 damages. i think i should swap weapon and use other skills in stead of feast of corruption.

my skills damages in WvW now.
well of suffering does 1,910 damage.
call owl does 382+1,931 bleed damage.
feast of corruption does 123 damage

i think feast of corruption is just useless.

and the description from gw2wiki
feast of corruption – Damage per condition: 8%, Range: 900, 18 cooldown, number 3 key.
phantasmal warlock – Extra damage per condition: 10%, Range: 1,200, 10 cooldown, number 3 key.

why is feast of corruption Damage per condition.
and why is phantasmal warlock Extra damage per condition?

shouldn’t feast of corruption be Extra damage per condition: 8%????

please don’t say people kick you because they can see damages other people do. your opinion is wrong seriously. they kick anyone who is new timer or not their guild member or bad player. and i was kicked many times. and sometimes people just leave the party. or they just give up in the middle or beginning. i think you never played gw2 if you say people kick you because people can see damages.

when i swap weapon sets, i can’t see second main weapons skills recharges. i see only first main weapons skills icons.
there must be a function that shows small icons or whatever that show second main weapon skills. i don’t mean i want to use two main weapons at the same time. i just want to see second main weapons cooldowns. there is a function that i can see skill recharge but there is no function that i can see other weapons skills recharge.

and i want to see other people’s health’s numerical value. i can only see my health’s numerical value. i am too curious about other people. almost every online games had this function.

and i want to see other people’s gears by clicking their names.

aand show me damages other people do. don’t say people kick you from party because they can see damages. they know you are noob or pro even if they can’t see your damages. i saw people kick other people too many times in gw2(i am level 80) and they insulted new timer (new to dungeon) too many times. (i reported people who insulted me but it didn’t work. support team said it doesnt break rule of gw2.)
if you still think people will not kick anyone because they can’t see damages other people do, you are an idiot. they know you are good or bad immediately when the dungeon starts. they know you are new timer or speed runner.

it is too inconvenient and not funny at all that i can’t see damages other people do. this is online game. i want to see other people’s information and compare my character to other people.

if you still think that everyone must not see damages that other people do because they kick you because they can see damages you do, they should not show us the race, profession, crafting graph for everyone. and you must not see any information. you must play alone. because you will be kicked from every party because they saw the information. and as your theory, everyone will kick everyone who is mesmer or necromancer and who is not human race.

but your theory is obviously wrong. this graph is very useful information. there must be more informations of other people in game.

after finishing a dungeon very quickly and easily even if i was new timer(i was 80 level. we didn’t die many times. the dungeon was very easy.(CoF exp second one)), i was insulted by someone. that sentence made me not playing gw2 for a day.

necro staff skills are slow than mesmer

or remove the delay of necromancer weapon skills. it is very stressful that i must wait 2~3 seconds whenever i cast staff or other weapon skills as necromancer. look at the chaos storm and chase retreat. it is too unfair. i was playing mesmer before necromancer. most skills of mesmer have no casting delay. and i could use many skills at once with mantras. this is so inconvenient…. even necromancer’s skills are under 900 range. but most skills of mesmer are 1,200 range. and i played world vs world as necromancer. this is so slow…. i feel like i am handicapped… even if necromancer staff has 4 radius skills, those are useless because of short range, casting delay. mesmer staff is obviously OP if developers don’t make necromancer staff stronger.

here are 3 suggestions for necromancer staff.
1. remove casting delay
2. add fear condition in staff skills. (i see only few fear skills in necromancer skills. but i see many daze skills and a stun skill in mesmer skills. counter blade 1 daze, mantra 3 dazes, 1 stun of signet were very strong in wvw, pvp. even mesmer has many counter skills. this is just too unfair. (i killed a warrior who had every boons in pvp with those interrupt skills very easily. he just died horribly. once imagine 5 interrupt + 2 counter skills. even if you have stealth, if i use counter skills and a stun, all your skills will go in recharge. and you will die horribly. i saw it everytimes when i play mesmer.))
3. long ranges won’t make necromancer stronger noticeably. so make a trait that i can cause fear 2~4 times. and reduce recharges of fear skills. so i can use reaper’s mark and doom 2~4 times. thanks.

look at the screenshot. i joined WvW. and everyone was just dying at the entrance. and many people complained about the server balance. and i see PvP has more many people than WvW. i want to see how the developers play this imbalanced world vs world. it is lame as hell. and everyone in guild and map chat said WvW is lame and imbalanced. why don’t they balance WvW? i want to change server.. but i dont know which servers are balanced in WvW.. i hope i can see World vs world stats in server list in character selection. so i can enjoy balanced world vs world. this function will be awesome.

also i hope trading post becomes more convenient like diablo 3 auction house. i want to find armors that have highest condition damages. there should be more category.

The only problem i see with this build is running SO many mantras…the problem with mantras at the moment is that,once all the charges are used up in combat,you are kind of screwed. You have about a 2 second recast time for each mantra which means 6 seconds of combat you are focusing to recast those mantras,reducing your damage and leaving yourself vulnerable.

so i use trait increasing armor while casting mantras.
and i have 3 daze and 1 stun and 1 daze(counter blade). total 5 interrupt skills. they can’t even attack me while my phantasms attack them. 3 daze is very powerful in pvp. they are interrupted so horribly. as i said, i dont need to attack because my phantasms are the main killers. and you dont need to prepare your mantra everytime. when you are in combat, dont prepare your mantras. you must use other skills. and you can use mantra while recasting other mantra. you dont need to wait for 6 seconds to use other mantra. i played this build all day. i never lost 1 vs 1 in pvp. and i killed every enemies who tried to run away from my team with daze/stun unless they use stealth.

i think this build is best in PvP. i saw many mesmers who use greatsword in WvW and PvP but they couldn’t win me. and they couldn’t do as many damages as me. i use chaos storm- phantasmal warlock – phase rethreat(combo finisher-chaos armor) – swap weapon- spawn phantasmal swords man – confusing images – counter blade. and i use daze/stun while casting those skills. you can’t win this unless you use stealth or trait that removes conditions or immune conditions and counters interrupt skills. but even if you use stealth, i have 2 counter skills. i can block you and spawn clone. i dont even use shatter skill.

i can recast mantra when my phantasms are in recharge. but i recast mantras behind walls or some safe place. i never fight against over 2 enemies. if you see that everyone uses skills at once when i stunned or dazed enemy, you will think this build is very easy and powerful. but i am bored at this build. i am leveling fear necromancer now.

weapons: two swords / staff.
utility, elite skills: screenshot.

motivation: counter blade – illusionary riposte causes daze on target. so i wanted to build a mesmer based on this skill. and i am bored at confusion mesmer because it was too weak. and confusion is too short and i must wait until foes use skills.

pros and cons: i tested my build in WvW. and i killed many enemies. almost i didn’t lose against everyone because i can daze and stun many times. and i can kill everyone who trys to run away. most people don’t know i can cause daze/stun many times. they think they can run away from me. this is so funny. and people come to me while i daze/stun him in WvW. and i spawn phantasms that do a lot of damages while preparing mantras and it is 1,200 range. and i can remove conditions myself. or i use arcane thievery with a trait reducing recharge of manipulation. Phantasmal Warlock has highest damages in this build. and Phantasmal Swordsman is the second. i don’t use Illusionary Elasticity for one additional bounce instead of Protected Mantras because i use phantasmal warlock than Winds of Chaos. i can cause many conditions on foe at once with daze/stun. and Phase Retreat+chaos storm is very good combo. sometimes people said my mesmer buff is awesome. and Mantra of Recovery is very good. i can heal a lot myself every 7 seconds.
but sometimes i must use scepter when i die too much to get close to some monster or enemy. or i must use greatsword when i can’t attack or do damages on some objects like a huge flying stone. i don’t use Restorative Mantras because this healing is too slow and small amount.

playstyle: i spawn as many phantasmal warlock as possible when i fight boss. spawn phantasmal warlock and swap weapon, and daze+blurred frenzy. spawn weapon, and winds of chaos and phantasmal warlock again. time warp elite skill is very awesome when i spawned 3 phantasmal warlocks and i use Mind Slash or winds of chaos in time warp. i dont use other skills in time warp because i can attack 2 times faster.

and Ether Bolt is too bad. i disable auto-attack on it because it destroys my one of 3 phantasms.

if you are newbie and it is too hard to build a good mesmer, try this build. i can do a lot of damages and interrupt foe many times.

in pve the mesmer isn’t as good because mobs die too fast for clones to be useful, and they don’t have much AOE.

in wvw illusions die too fast so shatters aren’t very good.

in spvp it’s just right, the enemies are resilient enough, and illusions live long enough to be useful, 1v1 is simply the mesmer’s domain.

that doesn’t mean that you can’t stomp then with a thief or a warrior.

mesmer has many AoE (area effect). staff skills and trait.
chaos storm, null field, etc.

you can turn off this option if you hate that you see damages that other people do. anyways i must see damages other people do. it is more funnier.

It’s not about personally getting disturbed or distracted by it. It’s about “nah just kick him he’s a noob” situations and this is why they will never ever add a feature like this.

“nah just kick him. he’s a noob” situations are happening in gw2 even if people can’t see damages. i am 80 level. i have seen that people kick newbie and people who are noob or bad too many times in gw2. even if they can’t see damages, they know you are noob or pro. and when they look for a group, they never play with newbie. also i was insulted while running a dungeon for the first time. your opinion is not true at all. it is just inconvient for everyone.
