I agree with OP that match with Stream Team winning at the last second with an enemy kill was easily the most exciting gw2 match i witnessed. Both teams were rushing enemy lords while there were small skirmishes in the sides to intercept the enemy split along with few players trying to hold that midpoint all while the time was steadily running down. Any small mistake would’ve cost them the game. It was an overall thrill to watch that!
Exactly. It was exciting. You could actually see tactics in real time over a constant strat. I loved it.
The Gw2 PvP community is starting to turn into dramawars. People trolling people in game and on ts3. The ugly truth about this is: bad personal PvP community is usually a sign of a game at it’s last leg. What can Anet possibly do to make this PvP become larger than life? That 6v6 tourny yesterday had a selling point for me. It was fun and showed somewhat of a skill. tPvP as of now just does not do that. What do you think they could do to make the community come back to life?

Frankly, suck it up and deal with the 1 day dishonor. You ruin the match for 9 other people even when you dc.
I hate when people say this. It does not fix the issue of the disconnects. I had it happen to me a few weeks ago. I was dcing on and off…only from Gw2. Then bam 1.5 days of dishonor after 1 year of never leaving a match? That is absurd.

Everything about it was weak. It looked cheap. The teams were sitting right next to each other. So not esportz…my question is though, what has changed since this? What did the Dev’s learn from this?

We are looking for one more player to finish our team. We would like a player that is able to play more than one class. Main class thief. We need someone who can use ts3 and communicate and follow strats. We are laid back and mildly insane so if strangeness is an issue do not reply.

I would really like to see a 8v8 deathmatch. With morale boost with flag capture. As for an esports: Why does everyone even want that? Whatever happened to just bragging rights of who just kitten stomped your face? Greed?

It should not be taking this long to fine tune bugs, exploits ect… We should have more skills/weapons/sigils/runes ect… to choose from by now. There should be more modes/tourny’s in game, not 3rd party tournys with no incentives. Also, I will say it again. EU and Na servers should all be combined for cross play.

We do have some american guilds on our EU server,farshiverpeaks , i really dont hear them complain anymore about lag then we do though.

A larger fight would be a cast-bar clusterkitten. Everything is either instantcast or with ~1 second cast-time, interrupting would still be impossible. This would be fine in duels, but that’s it.

The thing is GW1 let us play together, the lag was very annoying when playing Mesmer. I would say that GW2 is less ping dependent than GW1 was though.
I’m sure that the delay in Gw1 was a lot more…annoying than it would be in Gw2 since the skill level is not as high for some classes (mesmer/ranger). In Gw1, you also learned to adapt to the lag. Some of the greatest Euro mesmers were just fine with 3 second delay on PB. Godmode even. It would work. It would make for better sPvP in a whole being able to play all countries. Instead of the people.

The whole warrior changes.
Fast hand is a trait used to adapt to certain situation, i don’t see a point making hs heal based on swap. Feels for me that the idea is a ripoff of the suggestion someone made a while back if i rebember correcly its was fast healer – heal on wep swap in tactic tree.
Personally i don’t see a problem with HS, the counter is burst. U playing a warrior so u should know that hs takes time to recover and in many cases healing surge is better. Thing is everyone decided to play braindead condi spammer or a bunker. And pressing “6” doesnt take any skill to begin with. Warrior taking hs actually risking getting bursted down before the hs will even heal him for a highter amount than 5k.Berserker stance – i don’t understand it again. If anything ppl was complaining that soft cc don’t go through this stance, so they can’t stop warrior closing gap to them by chill/immo/cripple. But again ive seen many pople countering it just fine – so does that mean the skill is the problem or the bad player behind keyboard?
Defiand stance – … /Never used it, and i don’t even care.
Endure pain – i don’t see a reason
Fear me – actually trained has 46cd. If anything its should be a stunbreak
Pin down – i agree. But it has to be a real 0.50, skullcrack according to patch was increased to 0.50 but its feels like killshot.
HB – if anything for me its needs completely rework (selfroot srly..) i don’t see a point buffing the damage. Gs has loaded way too much dps in one skill atm, no need to make it worse.
Arcing slide – Magic, i see magic everywhere. Well its bad.
Rifle oh my lovely weapon, i wish to see it viable one day, but oh well.
Bleeding shot – i actually suggested to make it like harpoon 1 – mariners shot
Volley – 15% will make it on pay with killshot, if not stronger. I suggested to decrease the casstime by 0.5 and lower the damage by 20%. I think i had the list somewhere..
Brutal shot – i wanted to see that skill as set up to reworked killshot. A 1sec stun with 3/4 casstime on 18/20cd
Rifle butt – it actually has 450 knockback not 400. For my taste its should launch, people recover way too fast from knockback

Why can we not KEYBIND stomp/rez/portal ect… I think that needs to be an option. Sometimes…it sucks when you are trying to rez,stomp and portal is there or banner or w/e it might be and ur like… failing cause of it. Gw2 esportz.

I assume your question is to snoop and find if if I am telling the truth. I won’t entertain your question. I will say, that it would not make a notable difference. Especially in a game where lag does not matter.

That is a made up excuse from anet. You can run both regions on one. They just chose to separate for other reasons.
Why is it that Gw2 decided to separate in sPvP? What was the logic behind it and when will we see the two combined.
Warriors are not over powered. It is an issue of the balance and if there are more than one on a team.
I welcome this change.. maybe make friends and make pug teams so we can fight other people? Fighting 20 rounds with one team is really stressful.

Also, nice job with necromancy, Swampman, and it is indeed 3 stacks before the game locks you out. If your friend is absolutely certain he didn’t leave 3 games in 72h period he should contact support.
I don’t know who you are but anyone that is anything in the tpvp or soloQ would know that I would never just leave a match. The first offense time is just to long. Just like everything else in Gw2 they overreact or under react to everything. They can never find a balance in between.
But it wasn’t your first offence, it was the third offence in 36 hours, whether that be the weathers fault or not, it still affects your teammates. I don’t think its too harsh, I do think its unfortunate when you dc though rather than when people just leave.

I have never left a match out of rage or any other reason. I was having bad weather, I dc’ed 3 times in a row and now I have dishonor for one day and half? Seriously? That is absurd. I play more than most people do and in all the time I have played, I’m sure it can be seen that I never left matches like that. And the length of the dishonor for the first offensive is absolutely absurd. I just think that maybe, they need to take the dishonor from Gw1…10 minutes the first one and so on. A 1.5 day ban first time? Serious? Who came up with that?
