I think it’s actually worse than standard MMOs today. It’s straight up gated progression based on one stat (like WoW’s AQ40 days) that’s almost entirely based on RNG.
And not just any RNG, solo RNG. In other games there’s usually a choice to pass upgrades to people who actually need it. Here people can get nothing, or so much they pass it to alts.

Been doing 2 FotM dailies per day (besides first day) and haven’t gotten any rings. I haven’t even found enough vials/glob to upgrade my backpiece. Managed to get to scale 25 but and it’s just a huge liability for anyone to take me. Who wants someone with only 5 resist for 25+? I wouldn’t. Really puts a damper on trying to enjoy the game.
It’s also awesome when someone in my party gets their 4th ring. RNG… really makes effort seem pointless sometimes.
You guys had a good thing going with the dungeon tokens. Why revert back to 1999 with the RNG for ascended? Who still does this? Friend of mine has 3 ascended rings already. He pretty much just expects a ring when we do the daily, and then complains it’s not the right stats. He’s tossing rings to alts who have never even stepped foot in FotM, yet I’m putting in just as much work with nothing to show for it. Kind of aggravating.
Mine ore I guess. I will never touch another karka after this event. Useless island.

Under stability I count the karka rolling over people before they even load on our screens as a bug, so that gets a 1. Why do mobs that can kill us fail to load, and instead it loads 30 players around me? I dont need to see ALL the players in PvE… I need to see the god kitten things that are killing me. The engine should be prioritizing mobs, thats just common sense.
Also the length of the clear karka presence events, which we had to do TWICE, was god awful.
I didnt even know they couldnt before.
Why bother, your turrets will just autotarget something that isn’t even on screen. Good job rocket turret, you show that floor who’s boss. Oh if you put it next to the boss it might shoot the boss… right before it dies from cleaves.
Meh don’t really want to waste a slot for tool kit. Anyone who sticks their head that far out on the keep wall is going to eat a bunch of grenades and end up dead or so low on health they might as well leave.
They also buffed thief’s (and necro’s?) pull range too. Yay thieves..

Are you guys trying to get grenades nerfed? Just tell them to fix everything else. But yeah, such disappointing class changes all around. Made worse by giving us false hope with that “30 bullet points ERMAHGAWD!!!!”
BTW does anyone understand why they nerfed grenade damage by 10% only in PvP? Isn’t that just sPvP? Since when do engineers use grenades in sPvP? Seems like a great way to do no damage and die.
Turrets: dumb as a turret. I can’t believe there’s only 1 thing listed for turrets in that bug list. Turrets AI is so bad. They will target things out of their range, target things not in line of sight (this one is actually useful using flame turret to hit things thru walls), and not target certain targets such as dragon lieutenants. Please assign pet AI to turrets, and just get rid of turret AI altogether.
