Then you truly haven’t researched EU servers. True some servers do lack total time coverage but far less than NA servers. Overall EU servers are more balanced and have better coverage for all time zones than NA. In addition, they have a far less point spread then the NA servers making them far more competitive with each other. This also allows for better match-ups. (this can be proven by looking at any 24hour time period on http://mos.millenium.org/eu/matchups/ score evolution)
NA servers tend to stack time zones, and pick bandwagon servers to migrate to. EU servers actually talk with one another here in the forums telling each other which of them need more coverage. They even make posts about their prime being full. *some examples:

I understand you wanting to stay on NA but I just wanted to clear up misconceptions people in NA tend to have about EU.

If you go lower tiers server and drop superior ram other players think that you are god or something and start to worship you. It’s same than going back in time and and show what mobile phone can do. They think that there is small people inside.

Are there even commanders on the t 7/8 servers?

No, we don’t have commanders. Basically we fight against sentries. The really skilled guilds can flip camps. Once I got inside a tower, it was wonderful! The gate, the supply hut. I can’t even tell how it was killing the lord!
There are few who claim to have been inside a keep, but I don’t really trust them.
We still don’t know what is inside SM. It’s way above our skill level At reset we have people from the 3 servers banging their heads against the castle gate, but nobody can damage it enough apparently… but we’ll get it, I promise!

EDIT: almost forgot! If we see enemies, we make sure to not make eye contact and we run for our lives. Usually after seeing an enemy we stay inside citadel for a good 20 minutes.

Come have some fun with NUDE on FSP. We run mainly NA prime time and could use a just a wee bit more help in that time slot. We could also use Pacific Coast NA guild as you guys extend the NA time slot by 2-3 hours.
In addition, the most needed would be the Oceanics and SEA time slots. This covers NA’s sleep time and EU’s work time.
FSP is an amazing community who like working together to complete the job. We have serious guilds, we have fun guilds, and we have everything in between. Come see what a great community looks like.

Hi! I am NA and play on a EU server. I play FSP. My guild transferred here just as season 1 ended and we have never been happier with our choice. We haven’t experienced any more lag then what we had on NA servers.
We have found all the types of fights there are. We are never short of fights here. Both large and small. In fact we have had some of our best fights here.
When we moved we checked out several EU servers before deciding on FSP. They seemed to be the most balanced in terms of what we are looking for. You should really check out the EU servers.

Would love to have more time zone coverage for the guild.
The majority of our guild is currently NA eastern/central time zone. I would like to build up the other time zones to truly cover the NA presence here.

I would really love to have fun and friendly people to cover these time zones. Bottom line I like my people to get along, respect each other, remember that this is just a game and that people play games to have fun. We try to make sure everyone is having a good time.

Need more west coasters from NA. This may seem like same coverage but really it isn’t. For example: I first log on at 6pm eastern time, that’s 3pm west coast time, I log off weekdays at 10pm eastern that’s only 7pm west coast time. If we could build this section of the guild up it would make a big difference in the NA coverage on FSP.

Hawaii time: you guys are uniquely timed. You’re close enough to west coast to play with members there and close enough to Australia time too! So getting about 7-8 of you would be totally awesome a commander in this time zone would be good too.

Of course the server also needs Oceanic/SEA times so you guys would be awesome too.

To answer your questions Alphabet
1) The lag isn’t any different than the NA servers as far as I or my fellow guild mates can tell. There are times when it is worse yes but I had those on NA servers too. So no differance.
2) Far Shiverpeaks can use more Na players, OCX/Sea and some say EU (this EU one is sort of a debate at the moment). But for sure NA and OCX/Sea.
3) There are a few NA guilds or international guilds with a NA presences that you can join on Far Shiverpeaks, according to your style. FSP has [RIOT] who have a decent number of players who play during NA prime, [TANK] is also on FSP. And then there is the newest addition [NUDE] which is my guild. All of the ones mentioned are awesome in their own unique ways. One I’m positive would fit your play style.

Some things about FSP – The server is very friendly and we all mostly get along. You’ll find less drama on EU servers and if there is drama it is handled much more maturely than NA servers this is true on FSP too.
We have everything from GvG (although this isn’t my style), open field fights, 1v1, 2v2 etc, roaming/havocing, as well as some zergballs.
The NA (aka night crew) Crew is usually always a good time and has lots of laughs and fun while still kicking some kitten.
My guild has been here since just before leagues ended and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.
I invite you to check FSP out and see for yourself how awesome we are!

I would like to suggest the EU server Far Shiverpeaks. My crew has recently joined them (at the near end of league) and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. They have an excellent EU crew that usually creates queues on a regular basis during their prime time. They also have a decent NA crew (my guild is a part of this) that usually have a tag up during NA prime time.
We do need more Oceanic and Sea crew members though as this is when we lose the most. So any added numbers here would be a boon. 4 members may not be large but would be most welcomed.

Really wanting and needing more people to join us on Far Shiverpeaks, even if you don’t join [NUDE]. Maybe your just looking for a new place to call home, come to Far Shiverpeaks. We are looking for NA and Oceanic/SEA guilds and people. Basically, anything other than EU prime.

I really wouldn’t panic based on this weeks performance as there are several reasons for this week’s results. (new pve content, one nite commander being out for the next 2 months, our recent climb has made us leary of reaching gold league all legit reasons)
I will say this WE ARE STILL a GREAT community.
Also We are still looking for NA Oceanic/SEA guilds basically anything other than EU prime WE WANT YOU!

Sea of Sorrows has closed recruitment for NA and Oceanic, if you are a NA or oceanic guild please considor Tarnished Coast and Fort Aspenwood, both have great communities and both are extremely stable servers.

Farshiverpeaks on EU can use both NA and Oceanic guilds! Check us out.

West Coast (NA) stand up and Represent please! Yendix is lonely, well not always but sometimes. He is currently our only West Coast NA player, he needs buddies! That way when us East coasters log off for the nite he still has more people to play with!

We have several people in guild who have limited time to play. It doesn’t matter. We just like making new friends and having fun together. We are on the Far Shiverpeaks server, we are usually in WvW almost every night, we don’t necessarily always run raids but we are there doing work even if a raid isn’t going on.
On Saturday and Sunday during NA daytime hours (morning to about 5pm eastern) we have been doing PvE content for our PvE members. Mostly because EU prime members are very active during this time and create ques, we do PvE so we don’t add to the ques. But even if it is PvE we still have a blast.

I’m hoping now that the holidays are over this will again be looked at. The patch they said they placed in a prior update didn’t work. There are plenty of people this affected, I’m sure they are working on this solution. Sometimes, we need to practice some patience, coding can be a real nightmare.
