Naked n Drunk is recruiting on Farshiverpeaks EU server.

Our guild focus is WvW (sometimes drunk, sometimes naked, and sometimes both), but on the weekends we try to accomplish a bit of dirty PvE.

Naked n Drunk was officially formed as a homeland defense guild, so most of our members know the ins and outs of defending.

But we also like to ram it up hard (not up Amber’s behind though!). We love taking small groups to other maps and using our sexy bodies to our advantage, if you know what I mean.

We are known as the guild who runs around very naked and very drunk on our weekly Saturday night event “Naked Nite” (complete with themes).

95% of our time is spent in WvW (5% at the liquor store), but we consider ourselves casual. We are NOT a zerg-busting guild! We have commanders, but we do small scale. We know what we are doing, and how to do it in style and with lots of laughs.

So if alcohol and nakedness have enticed you this far into reading, here are some easier bullet points to read:
- We love fun! No seriousness allowed. Dirty jokes are abound. Adults only!
- We play during NA timezones, if you are not in those timezones but still play in that timezone, you are still welcome to join us!
- We use teamspeak… always. Being drunk and naked is more fun on voice chat.
- We don’t require repping 24/7. If you are already in a large PvE guild that does not WvW, that is fine! Just rep us when you WvW.
- Don’t be obsessed with Eternal battlegrounds, because we are not.
- We seriously have a naked woman on our website http://www.nakedndrunk.com (as much as we wish it was, unfortunately this is not a porn site link)

If you’re considering transferring servers to join us, Farshiverpeaks has many perks!
- We DO have a nice amount of “night crew” (this will be you if you join) that can hold our own verses many opponents.
- Farshiverpeaks uses a community teamspeak that EVERY WvW guild is on, ready for open communication.
- Farshiverpeaks has a maturity level beyond most servers.
- If you are coming from an NA server, keep in mind that even though we are mid-tier, the Euro servers are more populated than NA servers, and that you will ALWAYS have a fight, and there’s always a commander even during the “middle of the night”.

Whats its like for NA player on a EU server? How’s your latency / lagg etc. I’ve always wondered. Also how many players do you guys field?

Also in terms of competition. Are you fighting pugs or organised guilds? How is the NA in EU pretty much.

Here’s what we have found to be our experience on an EU server:

Latency/lagg – overall no worse than what we experienced on the Na servers when huge groups get together. Overall no issues, only during giant fights.

EU Servers (I scouted like 4 of them before moving to FSP) – overall have much less drama then the NA servers. They respect their commanders far more than the NA servers. Have far less trolls than the NA servers.
In addition, the EU servers have way better overall coverage during most hours of the day. There are of course times when coverage is lacking but it isn’t as bad as NA servers.

The fights over here are just as awesome or more so than NA. If you like roaming, we got that on EU. You like karma training? We got that on EU. You like gvg? We got that too.

Far Shiverpeaks (my server) has been doing very well against their opponents. We have done an amazing job at holding our own here. I am actually quite impressed with our results. We have had some very close match-ups which has lead to some nail biting finishes since the end of leagues. The server tends to have organized guild fights, however, pugs do tag along as well. But more importantly, guilds here respect and like hanging out with each other. So typically, it may be a [TANK] or [RIOT] run that will have [NUDE], [AOA] and any number of other guilds fighting right along with them.

Our guild is small at this time. We started out as true friends, that have never meet in person. We love each other and have a good time together. A typical night (no one sick, no holiday stuff to deal with, no major deadlines, basically no real life getting in our way) we do about 10 between 7pm eastern time – and 10 pm eastern time. There are still some around though after 10pm (just not me except on Friday and Saturday nites.). That’s just our guild, however I would like to point out that if I’m tagged I have far more people running with me than just [NUDE].

as of last night my guild (who moved to EU from NA servers) still has not received these chests. I think they need a patch for the patch.

have to say,if EU is an option, then Gunnar’s Hold has to be a prime consideration.

The majority of a playerbase is made up of small/medium size guilds 10-30 people, we do not have any huge guilds running in WvW. Sure the randoms will form a blob when necessary but we understand zergs/blobs means lag and so try to avoid running them as much as possible.

We are arguably one of the strongest EU primetime servers outside T1 and we also have a similar sized guild to yours [DOIT] who also share your defensive ethos.

It would be nice to be able to hand over a fully sieged Cliffside or Longview along with a fully upgraded north supply camp after a hard night’s battles.

So, to answer your questions.

Your guild size would fit perfectly into our setup

We are all for crazy events and they are well supported, ‘Heavy’ night, Mini night, Necro night scared the kitten out of the opposition when they saw 60 people and their minions. We also have ‘open’ mic nights where random commanders wreak havoc across a map. and more….

If we could change 1 thing about our server? Nothing tbh. We are reasonably stable with a mature playerbase all we really lack is 1 or 2 smallish NA/SEA/Oceanic guilds. We have players from these regions but as yet, no guilds.

Oh, we do have PvE (whatever that is) apparently. Does the wurm north of bay count?

We have scouted your server already, no choices have been made yet as to where we are going as we are still scouting.
When the time comes to decide (which is after all locations on our list have been scouted) the entire guild/friends will vote on the which one we go to.
I will say I loved my scouting time with you guys, ya’ll were totally awesome and I was very impressed with how you handled yourselves when faced with adversity. No matter what we choose I will remember you guys fondly.

If you prefer EU and still looking into moving, you can try Far Shiverpeaks. Pretty balanced server and a great community. FSP has a strong EU primetime presence and also decent NA/Oceanic presence. There’s a small NA guild here, TanK, whom are doing a great great job for FSP, you guys could be an awesome addition to the power.

We currently have 2 scouts on this server

We are still looking for a new home. And it has been made public on our server now, which has pushed us to look harder and try to speed up the process. As such, I will be scouting with my main account now.

My problem is close to the same except I can’t even get the first one. I visited 2 of them and it wont give me the first tier. It just says “leave” when I press F to transcribe.

Are those achievements for real? 255 sentries? 500 guards? But ONLY 450 WvW kills? During seven weeks of fighting? What??? Veteran of PvE in WvW?

Maybe it’s per week of the season. We still have reset every Friday with new match-ups between the servers in our league. So I’m guessing these are per week figures.

Agree with you. I was totally kicking kitten on that, not in the way the dev implies but in true spirit of the achievement. I’m so bummed they did this. And after today’s update, now that we got a look at the new WvW achievements for leagues as a defender, I am totally disappointed. There is very little incentive to defend in those achievements.

Just transfer by Thursday and your all good.

Maybe you may be interested in Crystal Desert. Great community, and a lot of passionate WvW’rs. CD’s NA is ok’ish but if more NA guilds could join us to fill in some extra slots would be amazing. What we really lack on is SEA/Oceanic, we are highly looking for people that can come and join us in battle during that time zone. CD also has practice/training sessions for new and experienced comers in WvW. One of our main priorities is organizing few zerg busting guilds, before the league starts.

I am no longer in [CLAV], im in [AFP] now. This group is looking for servers to help pay for transfers, CD does not pay. It is a long standing policy we have. However, there is a new council in place so I do not know if that will change, but i doubt it will.

That being said, we do need more over night (meaning, sea, ocean, etc) coverage. And we would love to have new people join our community.

There are a few other TP bugs that came with this patch and already have threads but none of them are like this (“gem store not loading” thread is quite similar but not the same), so here’s a new thread to see if anyone’s been experiencing the same issue.

When I open the Gem store tab on the tp (other tabs work fine), it first shows a blank tab and that yellow loading circle. After a few seconds the gem store’s tabs (home/promotions/style etc) appear for a small moment, not even a second, and then the whole screen goes black. I can still move around and use my skills, even open other tabs (other than tp), but I cannot see anything I do. I can even tab out. After tabbing out and opening gw2 tab again, I can see everything again, even the gem store. Thing is that after this point, if I click on anything at all the screen goes black again. Tabbing out of the game and back in multiple times didn’t solve this issue either. So simply said, I cannot use gem store at all.

This problem appeared on the patch day but about 10 hours before the actual patch came and it’s still there. Please fix this if possible.

I am having this same issue but it is only on 1 of my computers. And it has been happening for a few weeks to me. I thought it might be my browser cache but I cleared it and it still does this.

The worse thing is that I gotta log out of the game and back in again. This drove me nuts last night during reset when things are intense and I kept having to mess with this issue. I finally gave up and logged it drove me so nuts.

OK heres the deal we’re really tired of our present server that does nothing but flip and trade stuff back and forth all day. We like to claim, Buff, upgrade and siege our towers and Keeps and grind the zerg when it comes knocking. Our server doesn’t. We want to grow but with Like minded Gamers that want to win and have fun doing it. Our server doesn’t so we don’t grow. TeamSpeak is mandatory for our guild and we use our own and the servers TS but very rarely do you see others from our server on the public 1. So we’re ready to move but want it to be a place where we will fit in and have the opportunity to grow to what we once were before the free server transfers killed us. as a side note we do like to roam for small group tactics.

Please consider CD! I am a 100% defense commander there. 98% of my time is spent on homeland defense, as well as a kitten lot of my gold on siege and upgrades. I currently am in a guild who’s total focus in homeland defense.
I run (with a great friend of mine) a monthly homeland defense class we just started, and is pretty well supported by the CD community. In addition, CD offers other training sessions for various classes, and play styles.

On top of all that we have great events happening all the time. We play for fun and yes we try kitten hard to kick some kitten too!

Did I mention we are nice and we got cookies! (maybe some beer and wine too along with the occasional hard stuff).

Hi!

I’m fairly new to Guild Wars and was wondering which world server is better in the sense of pve. I love to play with other people especially on big quests, it’s just much more fun! I would like to get into PVP and WVW once I get the hang of it.

I’ve heard Sanctum of Rall is great, Tarnished Coast and I’ve been told Crystal Desert is extremely friendly. I’m looking for a server that isn’t a ghost town but isn’t just about WVW or PVP, a little balanced among the three.

Avoid the top servers as you won’t be able get into WvW with their ques.
CD is awesome! We have a very large pve community as well as a decent size WvW Community. We also do training sessions for class builds both for pve and wvw. We also have Homeland defense training and Zerg Training. So you can learn alot about the game. We have lots of fun events too. And for sure we are a friendly bunch!

Staying in EU time zone servers or are you wanting to come to the Americas? If America is a choice Crystal Desert would love to have you.

OK, so first I had at the time of this hit 2,000 toughness and roughly 25k health(about the same seen in screenshot.) Also at the time of the hit I had fully repaired armor, and no vulnerability.

What happened, I am going into a camp while my zerg was fighting the camps NPC’s, I also noticed an enemy invader was on a ballista pointing at my zerg. I attempt to quickly take out the ballista, however the enemy invader noticed and turned the ballista around. Next thing I noticed I have gone from 25k health to downed in one hit. Confused I asked my zerg what could do that damage(no conclusive response). It wasn’t until slightly later I decided to check my combat log, and there it was a 30.1k hit from spread-shot.

My question is does this seem like a standard amount of damage from a close up hit with spread shot? If not what caused it do you think(if it is not a usual number, I would like to not jump to Hacking/Botting conclusions until the very end.)

Not trying to QQ here or start a QQ thread, I am just not sure if this is a usual or to be expected occurrence, so I can plan for it in the future.

I would think this was due to a trait line the player had traited. Ballista, seige might etc.

yeah I was upset about this, as I was in the lead on this among my friends. So When I saw this last nite I was very upset.

I think CD has a decent amount at those times. We seem to be short from like 5am eastern until evening. But idk I may be wrong. I only know those are about the times our bl and ebg stuff gets rolled.

Im a player from Darkhaven server and have been since launch. Im to the point where i cant take it anymore. One of the things i like to do best is set up siege in towers and upgrade and make them holdable against any assualt and im actually very good at it. Darkhaven has a serious problem with not defending anything we have no one places siege no one upgrades we just trade one tower for another constantly and we get nowhere. I was wondering if any servers out there have a strong focus on defense especially on their own BL and their Main towers in EB. Im sick of spending hours sieging up a place and upgrading it only to have no one come when i call for ppl to defend it. So i guess im looking for a more defense oriented guild or server. Let me know if any guild/server who likes to play a little defenese is interested in another like mindid player oh btw i run 3 full geared classes Warrior(main)and a Guardian + Ele that i split some time between. get a hold of me in game Exaltdone or johnno.7543 if you may be able to find a fit for me

Crystal Desert is currently in an odd place, we have a ton of potential as our WvW guilds, Kome, INC, EK, etc. are phenomenal! We really need more of an NA presence though. That is the time where we lose some of our keeps due to low numbers or it’s time when we could hit enemy borderlands! If you’re looking for a new home, give CD a shot! There are a good amount of fair-weathers on the server, so if we start doing even better than usual, even more people will hop into WvW to join the fun. We really need a larger NA WvW guild to help out. It’s a great server with a nice community that I’m glad I’m on.

I want to add that all our time slots need more guilds and players. Our overnight crew needs boosts too!

So in light of the Bloodlust rage, has anyone else noticed that you can’t treb bay from garrison anymore thanks to the randomly placed make shift cliff there?

Yes I did test this last night, and in the correct spot you can hit both bay and the sw tower, making it possible to take 2 places at once.
In addition you can also treb garrison watergate from the ruin near garrison on east side.
Also a well placed garrison treb can hit both the east and west ruin areas near garrison.

Solid all around server and plus Yaks Bend was an awesome Place in GW1, I was originally going to pick that server as well.

Why do we have to stick to NA? If the euro servers had non euro coverage (NA, Oceanic players) I would transfer there in a heart beat. That’s where the real wvw is happening.

ok then include euro if you want. But why do you say that’s where the action is?

I’m not really looking, It was a question of what is best for the people answering the questions and why they choose the server. I guess I’m looking for what people think of servers and why but not like Oh that server sucks because xyz. More like I admire this server because, so IF I was going to move it would be that one.

If you were to choose a new server to move to which would it be and y? I’m not asking why your current server is great, I am asking if you moved where would it be and y? Also stick to NA please.
