So what I have seen so far… evening NA prime time late side of it… FC wants to focus DR because they cant match SF numbers (im guessing)… mornings NA time SF is focusing DR because they cant or wont fight FC…

Then we have people complaining about who DR attacks when from what I have seen so far we have attacked both opponents in the morning and the evening.

Just like to point out Solstice… when I have been on in this matchup I have fought FC far more in DR bl than SF… SF typically locusts through the map and leaves…. FC takes and stays.

So the wrong is on both sides because im sure we have commanders focusing on FC, and its obvious in my play times FC has commanders focusing on DR.

I don’t mind shadow refuge… most of the time if im fighting a good thief I would lose either way, but I love it against the bad to just average thieves… because I can almost taste the rage when they lose to a solo ranger.

Yea… we are one of the smallest WvW pops in bronze league NA and we have been green every match so far as if things weren’t stacked against us enough fighting servers that tanked to get in bronze league to not be able to bring remotely even numbers to the fight is just not right.

Eh… in a way its kind of a fun matchup… we all know the outcome so just find silly things to do to enjoy yourself.

welp so much for the PVe numbers push… if Hod didn’t chase ours away… SF sure is.

I hate you SF… I was on the AC in bay just now… seconds after I died a steel chest dropped at my feet…I hate you.

disappointed in the 2 Yarr inside our bay… it was just me are you that afraid of a solo ranger.

there was a Ferg warrior I had a couple good fights against, the best down at the SE camp around the view point, hadn’t come across a 2hander/bow usage quite like that before got me good, ill figure out how to deal with it sooner or later.

To add my useless two cents in… you don’t trade an upgraded keep for a paper keep if you can help it.

I tried to defend an upgraded garrison, think we had 3 or 4 AC’kittenting the gate and im not sure we killed anyone before that blob burned through reinforced gates because so many bodies were packed against it… imagine how bad it is trying to defend paper doors against that many.

I will probably grow kitteny as the week progresses (wife has been tdy for a couple weeks) I will rage and rant… don’t take it personal I just have an itch in need of scratching and I have to wait another week.

Other than that hope to find some nice fights away from the blobs.

What a boring matchup…. everybody is afraid to fight unless its traveling in a blob…I expected much better from both Hod and ET, the points don’t matter to me I want some fun fights.

I thought the same thing when DR had numbers… getting breakout and being able to golem rush doesn’t seem right when your rofl stomping your opponents… its poor programming on the part of Anet..

well that was boring… they really need to make golems go away for servers after a certain point differential.. outnumbered 6-1 probably more and golem rushed = a boring frickign fight for all involved.

believe it or not im not that upset, drama helps the week pass when the matchup is so out of wack.

I did get upset when a HoD player suggested we roll over and quit… everything else is just irritation with the kitten poor planning behind the leagues and my wife being gone TDY for 3 weeks.

No not really… id rather the two smaller servers focused on the elephant in the room but that wont happen because everybody is salivating over whatever crap reward you get for finishing the league.

So the vast majority of the people involved will continue to play for second.

Edit: and doing things like golem rushing our garrison while hod has 50 people in our bl has pretty much guaranteed more people will attack ET over Hod, so congrats on that I guess.

Because they are too busy taking our stuff after the HoD zerg move away to actually attack Henge’s towers/keeps.

Edit: and a great deal of my irritation is the complete lack of planning that went into the leagues… that a couple servers with such a population advantage are in the bronze league makes it a joke… the rich keep getting richer. While its not the servers fault… that’s pretty much the only direction I can vent.

Ahhh but we have… flipped a fully upgraded hills with about 20 people and used rams… not 40+ in a golem rush riding the coat tails of the third server.

And nearly had the inner gates down on SM last night before we got swarmed, least we drained the supply.

The only reason I ever fight in a Jump puzzle.. I am attacked or I see a realm mate fighting.. other wise leave me alone I leave you alone.

Dunno, Ive noticed for me at least it seems to work more often when im at a stand still when I hit it.

Im a bunker build so I have to be on top of the targets, its always been kind of flaky for me just lately it seems to just not want to work.

Suppose I could have been blinded seems like a flaw if blind stops that yet bonfire still works since they are both point blank AoE…. but I haven’t paid a lot of attention to the in’s and outs of the numbers in this game so I guess I could be missing something.

Anyone else having issues with this lately, played for a few hours this morning it worked as advertised once… the rest of the time it would fire and nothing would happen except it would go into cool down.

did not work on the move at all, worked 1 time out of 4 standing still.

Am I just on a really bad streak or has anyone else noticed something similar?

Sure I had some great 1 on 1 fights against folks from GoM, I know RH is a really good guild and a tough opponent.

Everyone knows how the match is going to turn out there is no need to do a self congratulations comment about how many points per tick you were getting… and If your that offended lets meet up some where and have a go at it.

You guys had a coverage advantage before the start of the match… the mad rush of PvE folks through it completely out of wack, hope you enjoy patting yourself on the back because they will bail on you by mid week the first match you don’t have massive number advantage.

Until people learn to let them rot when they set up like that they will continue to farm bags.

Sad… there are some people in this match up so desperate to get a kill they use cheats, I saw rangers hitting places a Long bow barrage cannot hit in a legit manner, and what made it pathetic is they were traveling in a large zerg in a fight where they had no chance of loosing and yet they still felt the need to cheat.

Keep an eye on your realm mates and if something doesn’t seem right report them if you notice it.

don’t take my complaints the wrong way, I complain here I fight in the game.

cripes how long is Gom’s que to enter DR… most people ive seen from DR in months and were still outnumbered by Gom everywhere it seems.

What bugged me the most… yall had more than enough bodies to flip the entire bl without what was it 8 omegas… it still would have been 20 something vs 4.

I don’t care about getting killed makes it hard for the outmanned server to even put up a fight/keep numbers on a map when they have to try and retake upgraded towers/keeps with 40+ defending them.

shrugs we fight where ever we think we have the edge doesn’t matter who or where.

I like that, although only 2 days left and there is a 30k ppt lead, at this point your only hope would be to get the most ppt and keep the second place secure

Im just in it for the fights, gotten some good ones this week so im happy no matter where we finish, but I don’t have any illusions while our communication (when im on at least) has gotten better, and upgrades and siege placement has gotten a LOT better we are in striking distance because FC is focusing DH.

If we get some more people to join us I think we can surprise some folks but that time isn’t yet.

been a long time since DR did a serious Golem rush… so some people might have gotten carried away a little, but its all in fun. We have no illusions about things… but I think the Vikings attitudes are back for now.

Seemed to be some of the most fun for a number of folks in quite some time.

My guess… we have a lot of people just getting their feet wet with WVW defending is hard thankless and often times boring, attacking is typically fun and interesting and a better pay off, you do what has to be done to keep people playing.
