So ummm is this normal numbers for HoD?

Dont take Dr to serious this match up… I think some people will act out over the joy of not being in Zerg central like last week.

hope its a better match up this week.

This is going to sound like sour grapes but… here goes.

If ET had the numbers you do.. they would waffle stomp you… they have people that can take defended upgraded objectives without a 5 or 6-1 advantage in numbers.

You guys have gotten so reliant on numbers well its disappointing, you do nothing but move in 1 big blob spamming 1 yea you will beat lower population servers doesnt mean your better than them, just that you have more bodies. (again RH is pretty darn good, its the rest of the server thats lacking)

by the end of our last match up whenever you guys actually fought IOJ (a higher pop wvw server than us) the jokes about someone getting lost and being color blind occurred.

You beat us by 50k roughly… should of beaten us by 100k with the numbers advantage you had all week… hell most of our dedicated commander took most of the week off.

Challenge yourself find new ways to take an objective hit upgraded heavily defended positions to see if you can stick it out… work on small man tactics… you have such a LARGE numbers advantage this week there is no reason not to work on tactics to make yourself better over all.

Meh… im off to work and as I leave IOJ is nearly untouched and we have 20+ Gom spawn camping us…
So refer back to my earlier statements… either cant or wont go after upgraded defended positions.

I do have to apologize for part of my comment… I know RH can take a defended position and fight in the open field… its the rest of your server that seems to be lacking.

Wow what a shock… Dr takes back a few things 40 Gom show up to fight 5 or 6 people… then got to love the emotes…

Want to know why you cant bridge the ratings gap… you either cant or wont attack a defended position… you had this problem a couple months ago and apparently you still only attack weakly upgrade or undefended positions and to get into a tier/ranking you have to be able to take upgraded and defended positions and this week I havent seen the ability or desire to.

I stand corrected you finally stumbled into a fight with the other team.

I am happy.. Longbow at long last has some serious usefulness… on the other hand.. I keep looking over my shoulder waiting for the other shoe to drop.

(this is prior to the cat nerf) because when I spiked a thief with my ranger I could feel the rage flowing through the computer and it made me giggle.

I must say thank you to Gom and Ioj for the tremendous compliment you both are giving DR so far this match up.

So a question to the other people that are forced to deal with this ARM guy everyday..

Does he have any new material or is this what we get to see every day… if this is all he has this will be a boring week on the forums also.

I have no issues with IOJ, but if I were to try a prediction… Ioj and Dr will still scorched earth each other every chance they get allowing Gom a walk in the park.

Well considering last week where 2 servers that I dont remember ever having cross words with (other than a couple guild to guild hate) focused on us the smallest of the three… I fully expect to wake up spawn camped after the weekend is over, considering the horrible divorce we went through.

I shall embrace the suk this week…

Meh.. you have better numbers now a days… I remember the first time we faced NSP by the third day you guys had quit because our numbers over whelmed you.

This was a good match-up and think DR did quite well for being the center of attention for our opponents.

HAHA… this match-up has become comedy gold..

shrugs id say the bigger question is why is HOD so obsessed with DR, seems like every time im on green is pushing blue and blue is pushing red.

Yea… defend paper SM or upgraded towers… id pick tower every day of the week and twice on sunday.

Opportunity, not necessarily ability…Again, it is not only about smaller groups vs zergs…

Thats the rub for me… many… not all but many of the people that want the opportunity will not stop pushing till its the ability to do so with impunity, its the nature of the meta gamer, then when the next big thing comes out they run to it leaving a wreck of a game behind them.

Thats been my experience in MMO’s anyways.

Whats funny is seeing small man groups wanting the ability to bust zergs with impunity (that was the problem with DAOC it promoted small man with skill sets) but marketed large scale battles.

I normally run solo and small mans in DAOC would often let someone from their group go one on one with a solo fighter… here the small mans zerg solo players without hesitation… then complain when a larger zerg over whelms them… well sorry no tears from me.

Same thing will happen here (that happened in DAOC) if they suddenly load up on skills that allow a 5 man to bust a 30 man in the open field… you will be left with 3-4 small man groups amongst the 3 servers every week and then eventually it will be a dead game.

Most players do not have the time or inclination to be a dedicated small man teram, I log in for fun… I dont log in to “win” I want a break from reality.. I get enough reality when I deploy.

From an opponents perspective they are a good server… dont worry to much about “winning” a week and just have fun and they would be a great fit for anyone.

General question is anybody else having problems healing folks in a downed state…

Ok… can someone give me a quick run down on what happened last night… I go to sleep we are hanging on by our fingertips in EB… I wake up and it looks like a blue wrecking ball hit EB.

I mean were we the only people to put bodies into EB last night?

Congrats DR I think this will be our first win since… what December.?So we will probably draw some ridiculous tier for next week, that makes us think fondly of IOJ’s oceanic’s.

be interesting to see how many fair weathers will stay through the weekend when the new matchup occurs. (cause a butt ton have shown up this afternoon)

edit: also I find it funny that IOJ has been very relaxed and even congratulatory about the double team.. yet some people from our side are throwing cheating accusations.

My guess is its another person that thinks a truce is cheating…

If ANet wanted to encourage an evening out of populations, they should not only make transfers of accounts from top to bottom free but also transfer of guild ratings and assets.

But I find play at the bottom pretty interesting, even if it gets annoying from time to time. I like the absence of queues, the absence if lag, the absence of overflow, and the fact that one person can make a big difference quite a bit, so while I’d like to see a few more transfers to make us more competitive with other low-ranked servers, I don’t think I’d want to see us swamped with forced transfers.

I’d rather be fighting an uphill battle as an underdog than being bored by the lack of challenge or mired in skill lag after enduring a queue to even start playing.

Im with this guy… I road the bandwagon train once before and the 6 month fall after wards… never want to do that again.

Last patch screwed something up… I rarely get major lag outside of SM, and since that last patch/update whatever it was random disconnects have been occurring like crazy. Not just to me… but many people on DR.

Lol… you couldnt pay me to play on one of those zer tastic long que time filled servers..

Fights are fun and constant down in the lower tiers, and DR/IOJ/ET has been a pretty fun match up this week, so please stop saying its all horribly broken…

Pro tip #1: You cant win the internets… stop trying things become more fun.

Dont get to kitteny DR fights not over till reset happens, we have been bested at the last minute before.

As selfish as it may be, it is for us. PvErs come out more, people get map completion done. You cant say its not fun to try and dominate the whole 695 ppt

Im not sure how many of us are left but I was on DR when we left the bottom tier and waffle stomped NSP and AR every day when I got off work we were at 695 or bloody close by monday after reset, it was the most god awful boring time, I stopped WvW and worked on crafting… and i HATE crafting…

When I got there people were already inside and the fighting was mostly over, like in my example my first thought was cheat but it is possible we missed a mesmer even if I dont like to think so… its possible you guys missed it…

and I already said yes some glitched inside…

Looks like an accusation to me… when its possible you missed a mesmer on the sweep.

Yea and within an hour or 2 of reset I was sitting in a tower and all of a sudden a group was in the towers lord room capping it.

You could have missed someone, and yes a couple people did glitch in.. some of them ran up stairs and jumped out others fought I dont accuse all of IOJ for what that group did in our tower.. .you shouldnt accuse a server because of what someone did or a possible misunderstanding of the situation.

No point in making accusations of any sort.

welp this week I get to be beat up by yalls Oceanic crew, so I imagine the rest of the week is going to suck for me.

Hope I can find some good fights.
