Should have tried defending Ogrewatch Tuk… I think we killed 4 or 5 trebs before they got the wall down and there were still 3 trebs firing… but fun fight for the 2 hours or so we slowed em.

I do not have an answer but… last I heard our pets were 40% of our DPS (roughly) and the best dps pet just took a 50% dmg nerf… I dont see how you can reach the conclusion to effectively nerf ranger dps by 20% that seems like wild over kill.

My ranger is going on the shelf… they say pet are the reason for are Meh dmg… then give a 50% dmg nerf to the ones that were most effective… WTF are they smoking.

Wander take back camps and sentry points, repair walls kill people, get zerged under by “elite” groups.

Ive done laurels exclusively in WvW for months… step away from the zerg long enough to mine/cut trees in the wvw zone and bammo daily is done… I usually have the monthly done by the end of the first week of the month.

Ive seen good fights… big and small for a reset weekend I couldnt be happier.

Best reset ive seen in …. well longer than I care to think about… be interesting to see how things shake out.

I hope we all get some great even fun fights this week.

I switched to a Bunker/BM build heavy on condition dmg and do quite well against all classes except Mesmer… just cant figure that one out.

When I get to I like to pair up with a guardian… we become a force of nature… up to 6-2 odds is what we have over come 8 or 9-2 we still down a couple before dropping… find a guardian and marry them and then really have fun.

To the ranger from Seventh Sect… next time why not fight..

One thing I miss from DAOC… elite groups giving a solo player a shot 1 on 1… yea yea I know blah blah security by moving fast… makes sense if its an equal numbered fight not a meta zerg server versus small servers odds are you delay your movement 30 seconds and have no added risk and the solo player might have a little enjoyment before being killed.

welp with what we just saw I certainly will never support teaming up with either of these servers to attack a third.

Just to make sure its understood my irritation is not really with BP at all, its not your fault your in this match up, I just hope if we all get a more even fight next week.

DtC you spoke calmly and rationally I will try to do the same..

I prefer to defend and this is what I saw last night when you guys flipped DR garrison..

We had about 20 people defending against a down gate and about 20-25 BP, then BP had 15 or so people running around the map flipping all camps, then had another 15-20 come in through the water gate and flip the keep. should we have stayed aware yea… but we were finally pushing the first attack out and just missed it because we needed everybody in the fight.

Those 20 people were it for the map except for a couple people trying to flip camps back and getting steam rolled… co-ordination alone cannot fix that. mid tier or mid rating servers should not be facing servers near the bottom of the list, not yall’s fault but the fault of lazy coding.

Here is what I have seen in Tier 7 we had finally bottomed out and had a couple competitive weeks fighting…we were starting to see some new faces out trying things… good fights keep people coming back.

Then new system comes online… we get destroyed by a large oceanic presence… fewer new faces… then we draw a server that has more bodies 24/7 than us… after what 36 hours Im only seeing the same people ive seen over the last 4 months as we slowly dropped in rankings.

They may have destroyed our servers chance at a recovery and that is very irritating.

I dont give a rat spit about the numbers… it is what it is… stop preaching at me like I dont know what the higher tiers are like. wasnt that long ago that we were fighting Ebay and BP.

Has BP gone dense with all the meta zerging… you have not seen a single blessed thing we havent experienced… nothing not a thing..

Yea I remember when we had numbers… intensely boring, I like a good fight I could give a rats butt about “winning”.

what about the tier 7 and 8 folks being matched up against folks with 24 hour coverage… were getting crushed and you tell us to wait a few weeks… this was a very poorly thought out decision..

After 4 fricking months of falling DR finally has a couple hotly contested fights and now were getting face rolled by pure zerg servers and off hours servers, how the heck is that fun for us…

and I mean zerg servers in they think a pack of 10+ is solo roaming or small man.

So whats the wager on when BP will be all alone on the maps.

I dont know what the developer was smoking when they came up with this way of doing matchups but they need to tighten the range quite a bit I think.
We finally had settled and were having some competitive matches and they pull this train wreck on us.

Kinky if you guys actively defended FC borderland last night the only thing you proved is how amazingly petty you and your wvw realm mates are… you demand respect yet act in such a petty manner then your surprised that people detest your play style.

I respect Ferg, and NSP, and GOM, I respected DH while playing against them.. I see nothing out of IOJ deserving of respect at this time.

To the ferg thief in DR bl about 810 pm cst in between the bridge and redlake /salute I had fun in that fight.

Doesnt bother me at all… I was in DR before we left tier 8 many months ago and they were always honorable fighters that brought the fight with everything they had every day. Heck FC is the only server ive ever considered transferring to.

While people like Crimson and Kinky prove themselves raging hypocrites every day of this match up, congrats on being that guy you two.

Lets say for a moment everything IOJ accused us of is 100% correct..
They get their rematch and what do they do… they proceed to do every thing they accused us of doing, instead of rising above it kicking butt and moving on, they chose to wallow in the mud and be everything they claim to hate.

shrugs most of the time when we have something resembling even numbers we do defend and upgrade… if your already outnumbered meh… find a good fight instead… having a fun fight keeps people fighting fighting 5 against 20+ people usually log.

I got off from work early today logged in around 12 pm cst to see this massive fighting force we had… 5 people in DR bl and about 10 in Eternal.. it is what it is.

I enjoyed the fights we had… laughed my butt off when we rampaged into IOJ flipped all the camps a few towers and then just had fun… we tossed 2 trebs down against garrison keep doors (right against them*) then just fought IOJ as they ran out… it was fun and more people came out to play on our side.

Some of you are still playing to win… I think most of DR (note: I am not a spokesperson for the server this is my opinion) plays for fun fights… if we accomplish some objectives great… if not but we killed a bunch of enemies… great.
Either way we had fun, BP said it best I think… our strategy is incomprehensible because nobody knows what we are about to do… think Vikings with ADHD.
