Good fights Ferg, as always you guys bring it with everything you can, and with class.

Tonaius, FC has been trapped in Tier 8 for…. ever it seems like they go hunting fights..

DR has been in a long slow free fall for 6 months or so, and we have slowly transformed to a similar attitude.. and despite what some people say when you just like to fight you have to take things back to make sure fights happen cause some times its nice to fight from a position of strength instead of at your spawn point.

Good fights earlier today Fergies I expect nothing less from you guys and gals, im off to watch the game.

My reading skills are just fine, my writing skills need work… (to far removed from school I guess) I was trying to say that statement could easily be misunderstood and most likely prompted the responses that seemed to have kitten ed everyone off.

Fair enough you dont see it as chest thumping… I think most were pointing at Crimsons comment about turning ferg blue after Dr logged off…

Seriously not trying to be hard headed here… but I dont see ooze commenting till after the videos and first two screen shots and the comment about turning ferg blue once Dr logs off.

Edit: I could care less about night capping, this has gone on as long as MMO’s have been around and had PvP on a large scale… just wanted to point out you were a little off on your comment.

hehe I dont hate you guys… I hate playing you because your style of play when im on forces me to play a way I dont like and thats pretty much it. (the chest thumping is icing on the cake)

And I would actually love a 1 on 1, cant get better with a new build without getting some alone time with folks, win or lose doesnt matter to me… I just like good fights.

My issue with Ioj is pretty simple…

I know of exactly 2 players that dont run in groups of 5-10(during my time to play), its a mes thief combo from Hard I believe… kudos to them for doing so… be nice if I could get a 1 on1 from them when nothing is going on, mes would still beat me (havent figured out how to beat that class since I dont really have burst) I think the thief would be fun fight though.

Other than thats I get zerged constantly till I have to join a zerg to have a chance at a fight… I hate fighting in a zerg its just not that fun most nights.

Oh and the obnoxious arrogant night shifters (that post here) that love to brag about capping our map after we’ve gone to sleep… we both know DR has a large population disadvantage after a certain time… you have better coverage you will win this week… when we have even numbers points are usually close…

The lack of small numbers fights, coupled with the obnoxious night shift makes fighting Ioj about as enjoyable as a root canal.

I play for enjoyment not to crush people or “WIN” the game, or prove how big my kitten is.

Thats about all I have to say on the matter I know IOJ has many good people and skilled players but the above makes me not care… didnt help last night having 5 tornados on the ground and 9 inches rain in 3 hours kept me stressed.

Winning a week is about coverage pure and simple, I am not saying GOM has no skill… because honestly they have more good organized guilds than Darkhaven, and BP… just not enough bodies to push through them I think..

What can change that is better organization… right now there is enough wild zerging that when they hit larger servers they will struggle… and typically all the pve people stop wvwing when they arent rolling over competition.

I have fought some really good players from both GoM and DR, Won some and lost some. But they have some really good players. In fact wanted to give a shout out to the VP thief I fought yesterday at the ruins in GoM BL (I think). Fought for what seemed like forever, finally got downed (Friggin’ Ranger Heal steal, lol), then a polite bow. Class act, I do the same.

Ok I should have said it better..But majority of gom are bad in pvp..ive seen some good ones also. Point I was trying to make was during tkitten no seige bug, Gom kept getting whiped everywhere. Now that seige is back…they r back to trebbing Anz 24/7, trebbing our keep or using golems which fail everytime cause they dont bother to take out oil.

To gom: Dont rely heavily on seige…maybe this is why you are one of the low servers.

And yet…GoM is still winning and has been doing quite well without heavily relying on siege. But, if it makes the pain of watching a server where, as you put it a “…majority of gom are bad in pvp…” easier to deal with…please continue with your dialogue.

Not sure if serious… Your winning because you have more people/better coverage by a pretty wide margin… but go ahead and keep thinking its all skill first time you hit a larger wvw population server a large percentage of your numbers will melt away and then you will see what your made of.

I don’t have a problem with people coming through accidentally and waiting for the door to come down or jumping out… people that come through accidentally and then attack people siege etc… are exploiting a bug and should be punished.

to the Gom folks at SE camp in DR just now I got a chuckle.

Still learning the build maybe I can do better next time.

Tried a bunker build tonight and ran into some warrior from split (I think I suck at telling some classes apart) around the ruins of DR bl, just wanted to say I had fun hopefully we will cross paths again at some point after ive figured out how to play this build. :p

At lower tiers resurrection/rally keeps a good fight going get away from the zerg ball and youll understand.

NA prime time… every night at least a couple times a night.

also its not fair top punish high population servers because of the server they rolled on.

I haven’t seen a que on Devonas Rest in… well months… so Doesn’t seem that way to me…

I am talking about saying no more than 50 on 50 or some other absurdly low number.

things will be better when more people accept like a large percentage of DR’s regular WvW force that regular fun fights are WAY more important than some point total that can radically change when your asleep… at work… with your significant other etc.

Try new specs till you find one that works most of the time… no 1 spec should be a 100% counter to anything.

shrugs gotta accept that at some times you are out numbered and its just a target rich environment… if they try to control how many people can play at a time I would quit the game that day.

Lol GoM encountered resistance in EB (still we were outnumbered) and they went to BL to PVD our paper keeps (srly guys upgrade!), i hope you enjoyed my garrison surprise, you failures.

86,000 points behind GoM and still talkin smack.

Just like to point out… like the show says… Points dont matter… why when all three servers have similar populations its very very even… problem is that is for what about 4 hours a day, GOM has a better 24 hour coverage than either DR or NSP… so you have a points lead.

This match up is becoming less fun by the day… either bunker builds or zergs is all im seeing this week.

So umm Nsp is it safe to assume you blame us for your losing SM?

shrugs I dont take any of it personally, I understand why people hit you folks… for some its probably lag factoring into it, for others its going to be hitting you back for back dooring us during a push on GOM… for others still its an easier fight.

Me personally I always want to go after the biggest guy on the block, cause that makes me a better fighter, but people will play the way they want to play.

edit: I am usually in DR bl so while it has irritated me sometimes… it is what it is..

Dont know when singlemalt or blaze play… but when im on typically Os and phoenix battlion or both are leading a zerg into DR and I rarely see red in Gom… plus lotta DR folk got mad after we started a hard push on GOM Saturday I think it was and NSP lead a massive zerg into our BL flipping most of it.

I dont think its about securing second as much as … well people wanted to hit you back for that.

Oh and for the record I can count on 1 hand if you chop off 5 fingers the number of times Ive gone to NSP since this matchup began.

DR zergs in Eternal… but the rest is usually 1 or 2 guilds working together and a smattering of solos roaming around during NA day time… past midnight we are a ghost town till around 7 or 8 am (I think been a while since ive been on that time frame).

But most of tier 7 if you avoid eternal you avoid most of the zergs.

You should not be able to pull a tower lord into the courtyard where its easy to kill them… they need to be leashed to a small area around the center room so if its being defended you have to deal with players and the npcs.

Umm sorry its not Call of duty?

Dedicated WvW people I know are in it for the fun of the fight not personal rewards… if thats what you want you might need a different game… they have pretyt much done everything ever other large scale fight mmo has done for rewards I wouldnt expect to see much more.

yea I finally got burnt out on my ranger and im leveling a thief :p

I want to feel the power just occasionally obscene damage numbers would be nice.

sighs we finally had the herd moving against gom this weekend… and we get back doored.

I dont get it but I apreciate the 7 levels ive gained in wvw in the last 36 hours.

My main is a ranger… thiefs are fine…

if I face 5 thieves 1on 1 ill beat 3 of them, just because your chosen spec isnt any good against them doesnt mean they are broken… since I primarily roam solo I kept looking up different specs till I found one that works pretty well… against a good thief im still a free loot bag, the average or bad ones I eat for lunch.

Their was 1 particular NSP guild that ran up as me and the other 3 defenders in DR bl at the time were being swamped by about 6-8 GOM… we died (no biggie I do that a lot) the 15-20 NSP turned and left… I saw that at least 4 times before DR reinforcements came in… I cant speak for anyone else in DR but other than a duel if its red I try to kill it.

Also… you know we werent taking damage on the stairs right? I just stood their in EB randomly arrowing people on my up level raking in the bags… hell we had some run onto the stairs trying to kill people.

Good job on getting everybody that could swing a stick out in WvW then.

I will correct myself it seems to be primarily 1 guild in NSP that appears to be boot licking.

shrugs Gom is becoming DH 2.0 so say good by to solo roamers..

So by this guys logic every time NSP hits us when GOM is pushing us heavily they have a super secret alliance… ok gotcha..

well we made it 4 pages… not bad.

Out manned in EB then its time to attack the other factions… make them react to you instead of reacting to them.

Good fights so far… hope NSP and GOM dont have to strong of an off hours group so things stay competitive.
