I disaggree, zerker may be optimal but if power/condition damage/ferocity is introduced it might become the (part of) norm (you just take enough zerker pieces for 100% crit and the rest increase condition damage or if the math allows it go full power/condition damage/ferocity). We then can boost dhuumfire,blood is power or epidemic.

You might be right but they have never announced it being added to the game and if it is we should test and see how usefull it is.
EDIT: Also as I said before the fact that you can get by youself to 100 crit chance makes makes many buffs banners fury etc go to waste.

I will point out a couple of things and then finish with kind of a conclusion
1_ Taking Decimate Defenses and Death Perception is not a good choice, my reason for it is that you get a 100% crit chance from it making buffs like banners spotter fury and other traits go to waste.
2_ They have said several times that the way necro benefits its party is by doing dps, so sticking strictly to what they said there is really no point in taking any other gear set than zerker.
3_ Spite and Soul Reaping trait lines are kind of mandatory, spite is a huge dps increase (awesome trait line) and sould reaping makes your shroud reach its potential ( not that great of a line)
4_ Decimate Defenses is a better choice for PvE while Deaths Perception is better for PvP, reason for it is that DD affects your gravedigger and seeing how easy its to stack vuln now its always benefiting you while DP only affects you while on shroud but the fact that it doesnt require anything to work makes it realiable in every situation no matter anyones build (condi removal for vuln)
Conclusion:
Seeing how the intention for necros is to dps there is no reason for us not taking zerker gear which ends up giving us a 50% crit chance aprox. As a result we should just stick to using one crit chance modifier and Decimate Defenses is clearly the better option for PvE, also as I said before taking 2 modifiers is pointless. What ends up happening is that the soul reaping grandmasters then become come kind of useless, Deaths perception is overkill, Foot in the grave isnt that great for PvE and Dhuumfire is just usefull for condi builds which in all honestly necro arent good at.
So I think they should really consider changing the Sould Reaping trait line PLEASE ANET.
Suggestions:
They could add things like “While in shroud you deal X% more physical and condi dmg” or something like what warrior has “When you use shroud deal X% more dmg for X secs”.

The changes as I said before look great, still theres two others things I would lvoe to see them change.
1_ Grasping Darkness really needs to ahve a shorter cooldown, theres classes with way more and better gap closers.
2_ Either see a change in Decimate Defenses or Death Perception, using both give you 100% crit chance most of the time seeing how easy it is to apply vuln while in shroud. While this might sound great because it allows you to use other gear stats than zerker it makes buffs like banners, spotter or fury go to waste. I would love to see either one of them isntead of increasing crit chance give a dps increase.

I think from what I saw on the forums everyone is on the same page but I still want to give my opinion since thats the hole idea of the beta to give feedback.

_The idea of necro is to support by doing high dps but that clearly wasnt there.
_Greatsword is 1) supper slow and useless on pvp cause of its big tell 2) has no effective gap closers 3) gravedigger should have no downtime when used under 50% cause skills are already slow enough.
_The reaper shroud is ok but still lacks some dps and the scythe is way to big at least imo
_ Mobility overall is awfull

Dont know if anything is missing but thats my ideas overall.

Why should somebody pre order the game when they have always came up with better deals after release?.
Are they ever going to properly reward costumers that support them even with out a release date or them having explained all the content in the expansion?.

To clarify: $50 is the price of the expansion. We included the core game as a free bonus to make it easier for new players to get into it.

The fact that you are giving away the game for free is a slap to the face to every single one that supported your game buying it, I can understand it being reduced in price over time but this, is unacceptable.

Decided to support the game before it was even out and bought the heroic edition just to find out month later you added more bonuses to this version. Its funny how when ever I get to the BLTC it still offers me the option to upgrade to a version I have already payed for. Still this was not a killer for me cause I feel I got way more than my moneys worth.
Now HoTs is being sold for 50 which I dont really have a problem with but you are adding the core game with it?? List of problems with this:
1- People that already own the game feel as they are being charged twice
2- People who already own the game arent getting anything for free unlike new player
3- People who bought the game because of HoTs feel robbed cause you clearly stated that the expansion would not come with the game
4- Once again theres a post stating that the expansion would come with a character slot and even tho this is true its only being added to the heroic edition…. Not only that but GW1 expansions came with 2 new slots
All Im trying to say is that I feel dumb for supporting your game when Im constantly being screwed over, not once have I felt rewarded for supporting the game early, all the benefits go towards the new customers.
It would be really nice to feel appreciated.

Revenant Problem

Am I the only one that sees weapons as a huge problem for the class. Its looks as if every specific weapon is tied to a legend and seen as you are not able to weapon swap this makes you remain in the stance that benefits what you are wielding. An example would be wielding a staff and being in Mallyx stance, theres no sinergy between them, so why would I ever do this?? I guess just to take advantage of the heal??. Please leave your opinion, wanna know whether people agree with me or im just plain wrong.
Im from Argentina so please try to grasp the idea, Im not available to explain myself to perfection.

With dailies is seems that people only join winning groups and and avoid loosing ones or just straight up leave the match. I know people get frustrated and leave cause of the lack of skill from their teammates or cause their aren’t performing well, but I think the main reason for it is that some just wanna get in do dailies as simply as possible and leave. There is clearly a problem with this and it would be nice if they came up with a solution for this. One possible way to solve this might be giving the daily reward not just by winning but also by loosing in 3 matches. I think this not only stop people from leaving but also make people join loosing teams.
What are your guys thought on this.

There are so many servers that you can just enter at the same time with your friends and pick the same team.

This doesnt always work. Unless the current player are an un even number you cant pick the same team. Lets not forget auto balance

I didnt specify, I was talking about custom arenas. I dont consider myself a great player, not only that but Im trying to teach my cousin a thing or two so I dont wanna hurt the team Im at cause of my lack of skill. Thats why I most of the time play custom arenas and from what I know you cant join as a party in custom.

4) Are new maps like stronghold being worked on or are they waiting to see how the community reacts to the game type??

6) From what I saw in the videos of HoT looks like it will demand more out of our computers, are they planning on optimizing the game??

I think shared cooldown makes a lot of sense. Giving your skills shared cooldown it will make you wisely choose the one you use acording to the situation, not only that but it will force you to know your class completely so that you channel the legend you need.
Having said that I think this would also be really hard for Anet cause they end up being forced to give every single skill the same cooldown.

Im not saying that the druid could only dot or heal, but I think we could all agree that it doesnt sound like much of a zerk class. This is not bad at all and I really enjoy variety but we all know that it isnt the current pve meta, making me in the end doubt if this is the best specialization we could get.
As a side note yes it could end up being useful for spvp and wvw we could at least hope it is of any use there

Given the way GW2 was made there is no place for a healer or a tank in a group. The reason why I say this is that healing is useless and there is no effective way ingame to control aggro. Am I the only one worried about the druid for my ranger?? Judging from the name it wont probably out dps the ranger we currently have, cause when I think about a druid what comes to mind is either dots or healing and none of those are better than zerk stats.

You are ONLY considering PvE.

As for the validity, who knows?
Support skills are EXTREMELY strong in this game, PvE or not, maybe this makes a ranger a better dungeon runner/stacker.

ANY sort of variety is nice. it does not need to be the mentality of “MOAR DAMAGE”.

Variety is good but useless
The only thing that helps in dungeons is might stacking
I would love for the game to make you need both a healer and a tank, but the machanics for tanking arent ingame and healing isnt really needed. As a result all people end up caring about is dps.
I dont think the problem is in palyers that only care about dps but actually in the game

It will be interesing how it will play out, i keep looking for some info about reve but cant find a ..

Im curious how they have solved that backbar swapping. From a logic point of view every channel (assuming reve has f1-4) will get a different backbar that should have their own cd on these skills just like ele wep skills. At this point does it mean they get access to 4 healing and elite skills in combat? That actually sounds crazy op.

Also description saying that for example they become tanky frontliners while channeling Jalix makes little sense to me. How utilities can cover it unless along with utilities there are some passive buffs like dmg reduction by 25%?

Wow i had never thought about that. I totally agree, it would make no sense for them to have access to 4 different healing and elite skills in the same fight.

1. At no point did I say that it will be a healer specialization, what I clearly stated is that the first things that come to mind when someone mentions druid is either dots or healing at least in my opinion.
2. Healing might eventually work, I honestly dont think it will seeing how the made multiple changes to healing power and healing in general and they did tiny to no difference
3. In terms of tanking there is nothing they can do, there is no aggro meter or or anything to support that in game. Introducing that would be a huge game changer affecting the game in every aspect (armor, skills, classes, etc).

From what I read on the internet when ever a revenant channels a new legend his elite healing and utility skills change. Seen how the weapon you wield gives you your first five skills will the revenant have many options??. Its more than likely that it will only be able to channel 4 different legends seen how the engi ranger mesmer and ele have F1 to F4 options. So judging from what it looks I dont see how this will be diverse.
