It’s pretty easy to compare as it is now and will have a lot more sense when patch comes out. You can’t go full soldier’s or sentinel’s on a power build and be effective, you will have a lot of survivavility but you wont be able to finish your enemy. Now I can go full dire and be as tanky as with soldier’s but have 2k condi damage and be able to kill other ppl.

Skill lag is back, yesterday I had little to no problem but today I’m experiencing the same latency i had before

I have an awefull lag atm, it’s almost unnoticeable while walking around (I mainly roam) but once I engage skills last 1-2s to cast

Ascended rings and armor will also become acc bound?

-No, most of the times is just 2 or 3 of us lagging
-Not sure
-Skill lag is always there and gets worse when approaching a fight, that’s when freezes appear

Had some fun fights earlier today while roaming on my engineer (red and white). Notably the EA d/d ele that fought to stalemate at west camp and the RI warrior and guardian at se camp. Too bad you guys had some more add on me. I wanted to stay and fight. See ya around.

Show us your build so we can tell what’s wrong. My ele can do more damage than a hammer warrior with lightining auto attack (of course I need to stack might up first)

Nice fights today on CDBL. Once I managed to catch 1 guy off the 5 man group i’ve been solo roaming against, I killed him at least 5 more times 1v1 and many laughs were had on his corpse. Also killed a few more Ebay and laughed + dropped siege on their corpses too.

Im tired of zergs running from us. And unless its 3 to 1 odds or more in the opposing zergs favor, they run. Now i understand that there are good reasons for so like regrouping or getting a better position.

You guys don’t really want a challenge, if you really do then transfer to a tier 1 server and prove you are as good as you say you are. Same goes for all the FA guilds that brag about how they wipe entire zergs when being outnumbered. Try yourself against other really organized guilds and you’ll see how “awesome” you are

Like the title says, today I was roaming with a friend and capped NE camp, while the ring was up, even before we capped it or even cleared all the enemy guards, friendly guards starting spawning. They even attacked an FA npc

That’s cause usually when you try to 6v1 an FA player, 50 others are hidding in the bushes near him waiting to jump on you

With knights weapons I get about 1.6k toughness + 16k health + 500 healing power. That should be more than enough survivavility since I also get the heals from EA, or am I wrong?

Aren’t my stats better than if I used Valkyrie + Assassins? I get more healing power and more toughness with my gear setup. Attack isn’t bad either. Sorry I keep bothering you :P

I don’t really like valkyrie cause you are as squishy as before but with more hp, I prefer more toughness and more healing power. It’s prolly better but idk lol I like it that way.

Hi everyone, it does not happen every single time but sometimes when someone drops siege after spending supply on building it my character will get stuck there. I can do everything: change attunements, kits, use healing skills, etc. but I cannot move at all. This happens on bot my ele and engi.
On the picture below you can see that the building hammer is still on my hand though I’m finished building that ram.

Hey guys, this past few days I’ve been leveling my asuran ele to test how he does in WvW. I was thinking in running a 0/10/0/30/30 build using D/D and I’m not sure which armor and trinket stats I should use.
I don’t want to be squishy so I was thinking I could use PVT armor and a combination of zerker/cavalier trinkets. But as I said before I’m not sure and don’t want to waste my tokens and laurels.

It’s not that easy, FA and YB have tons more players than we do.

You are given the option to use ingame gold to pay for the gems, so you are not actually obliged to pay for a transfer or anything that’s sold on the gem store. Few games give players the chance to do this

yup because of this

You can try 0/10/0/30/30 with pvt armor and celestial/cavalier trinkets.
Lots of survivavility and if you know how to combo for might stacking you can do a really nice amount of damage.

PS: Evasive Arcana is a must imo

Sadly there are issues such as lag, crashing, FPS drops, disconnects, etc that have been here from day 1 and still Anet hasn’t been able/willing to solve them.

Lag is back! It’s different now tho, instead of constant lag I get lag spikes when I enter combat. Doesn’t matter if I’m alone or in a zerg, being WvW my main activity in GW2 game is currently no more than a desktop icon

After this last fix patch to get WvW up again lag vanished! Back to gaming

Lag issues appear and vanish when patches come out. When this updates are released you start seeing users complaint about lag. So how would you explain that Xystus? Cause the ppl from support couldn’t answer that to me a few months ago. Anet is changing something when this patches come out that messes up with our internet, if they could only tell what they are changing then we (or our ISP) could start to find a solution.

Started again for me maybe 3 or 4 days ago. Before that I could not play maybe 2 hours a day because of the lag, but during the rest of the day the game worked flawlessly. Now every time I log, no matter the hour lag ruins my gaming experience. Last time this happened to me it was there for about a month and then vanished.
It’s so frustrating we don’t have a response from Anet yet. I was looking to previous posts and saw this guy Bill (dev) talking about how they were gonna look into the problem and update us on it. Funny thing 2 months later we have no more news from him.

I had the exact same problem, changing to a 64 bit OS and expanding my RAM solved it
