About the nightmare court being incurable: It doesn’t have to meen that they is absolutly no way for a nightmare court sylvari to be “cured”. It could just mean that they can;‘t be cured out of present knowledge/resources. We have about a century of studying the human psyche. we still don’t know how to “cure” psychopaths and sociopaths (which is what nightmare court would attract) we just lock them away. sylvari have been around for 25 years. they can’t have the knowledge to even attempt to “cure” a nightmare court. and they don’t have the resources to just “lock up” nightmare court. (especially given how well-trained soldiers they are) Killing them is the only option.
The specific system you mention is a decaying system :IE that it can only get fewer and fewer players into WVW. even in general, you are saying that any work that large organized alliances to organize a 24/7 presence should be negated. Why?
the reason we don’t have ladders is because they would be impossible to balance.

In all honesty, and no offense, but GW2 may not be for you. This game doesn’t have the traditional MMO setup you seem to want. this game is about exploring the world, not rushing up to 80 and grinding dungeons. You don’t have to do dungeons at all if you don’t want to. that gear is not statistically better then everything else.
If I remember correctly from beta, they wanted to have full auto-loot, but couldn’t for technical reasons. They probably will get around to fixing it, but for now, this is a compromise system
I think most of those disguises are magical/mesmer illusion, rather then a physical disguise
I wanted to ask you guys which classes you think are among the best for endgame pve and dungeons. I started out playing an engineer but I am not really liking the class too much. I was going to try out ranger but than I saw some posts on different forums (I think this was one of them) saying that while rangers are very strong in PVP and solo pve, they are pretty weak in dungeons and endgame pve (events and such). So I have also started looking at elementalist because I read online that they are pretty strong for pve. I know Guild Wars has always been more of a pvp focused game but I generally only play mmos for pve. I only pvp with friends here and there. I know that technically all classes are supposed to be viable for everything but I also having been playing mmos for a while and know that there are always imbalances and there are always some classess that are more powerful than others. I would like to know which classes those are for endgame PVE in this game. Thanks for your help in advance.
1) You expect us to know this now, and that it won’t change with balance patches?
2) Each class can do different thing. It is not a trinity system where there are only 3 roles. this means that it “best” doesn’t necessarily apply
If poeple are tranfering to avoid losing servers, then why would they fight if they can’t transfer?

Just remove the 5-target AoE limitation on damage spells (not grab/pull by Guardians or Mesmers for example) and zergs are done.
This limitation is killing PvP against larger groups (i don’t even mention rez mechanics) cause they won’t care about this limitation since they have more people than you.The game doesn’t punish poor gameplay and people (and zergs) staying in AoE or playing without even noticing there is an AoE under their feet.
This should be gone for a while.
warhammer online didn’t have a limit on the damage an AOE could do. this caused bright wizard vs bright wizard (ele v ele anyone)?

They should have made all servers international so they all had a mix across timezones – They could have gotten away with fewer servers and those servers would nearly all have 24/7 WvW.
the reason they did NA/EU servers was because of ping. EU accounts can still play on NA and vise-versa

you are assuming that sylvari don’t have lungs(or a lung anolouge) considering that they have stomachs, I don’t think that’s a good assumption.
I believe it’s stated in lore that sylvari do need to eat, although they need to eat less in sunlight. this suggests that they need to eat for energy, not just for nutrients. this, in turn, means they need oxygen consumption like we do. and since they are modeled after humans( to the point of reproductive organs that may not be needed) it is a reasonable anylisis to assume that they have lungs/need rebreathers just as much as humans do.
Clearly, there are lots of issues with current scoring by ANet.
Night-day takeovers, when other sides are not there is one of the major issues.New scoring rules should give bonus for capping and defending against attackers – the more attackers – the higher bonus.
Capping an empty tower/supply/castle should give minimal score if any at all.
This will eliminate night cap problem entirely.

Why wouldn’t a toggle feature work? Why is it all or nothing? It’s not your call to make anyway. The point of it being optional would be that for those who enjoy it as is = they can have it. If you don’t like it.then shut it off.
Because it is not, as you seem to think, a toggle. The PvE world is not instanced. If you choose to switch scaling off, you affect everyone around you; EVERYONE. I can’t shut off you not level-scaling. There’s no toggle; it’s a binary state and it’s in the control of the high-level player. You won’t abuse that? Good for you. Others will.

It’s not the repairs that bother me personally, it’s the upgrades. I feel like the entire supply game is just swamped by the huge costs of upgrading things.
I can’t help but feel that the Wuv game would be improved greatly if the costs on both of these things were removed.
please do remember that we are still relativly early on in the game’s lifespan. money is still going to be relativity rare.
