yeh they didnt do nothing in this patch not event the low res textures, got implemented.

I do the grenth every day and i cant see most of the ppl, in the end of the event i see 50+ ppl.

This is really a great tool im using it right now and i think tha will help alot of ppl getting more gold

Well i have the same “issue” jade maw chest and only blues and greens its the first time since i started fractals and belive me i did +50 times fractals and never got crap loot from the final chest NEVER.

Everything have DR in the game now!?

lets be honest the game is easy, fractals is easy, if you die at lvl 2 of fractals is not because the dungeon is hard but because you are bad.

Why would ppl do fractals 30+ if they dont get any new loot? even cosmetic after lvl 20 the loot is always the same.

If casual player can have easy dungeons and Faceroll Dragon Events why cant we Hardcore player some Love?

Dont you ppl, want the game to grow to have new and more ppl.

Exactly this. In my experience with raiding, the vast majority of the people who raid, really do it for the better gear. If Guild Wars 2 had raiding, and it gave the same exact rewards as anything else, then those raids will largely go unused except by very few people, not worth the money to develop in my opinion.

Thats not true and you can see that every day, since the gw2 launch you find 50+ ppl in the dragons events you see alot of ppl in gw2lfg site and alot of partys in Orr doing event and they drop the same thing nothing better than exotic gear.

I dont understand why so many ppl are agaisnt Raids/Large Scale PvE Events, you only do them if you want, they wouldnt drop anything better that the gear that we have now, the loot would be only cosmetic stuff like tonics or minis or weapons like you see in fractals after lvl 19, is the same thing that dungeons, why ppl still do dungeons if they can get the gear by crafting, oh wait because they like the skin from the dungeons but they dont have to do it to have the best gear, i dont think this is a big deal.

And i dont understand why some ppl here say that its not possible to do “raids” in Gw2 when you have dragons and other large events already in the game. And yes theres no Holy trinity in the game but theres Soft Trinity(Damage, Control and Support)(see here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2_Wiki:Projects/Soft_trinity)

And what you guys think that in other games they build the Raids firsts and then the Roles!?
Anet just need to build their “raids” around theirs Roles/trinity, like when the first MMO with raids did.

And other think GW2 have an amaizing feature that is scaling, that could give alot of longivity in terms of “raids” they could implement 1 now and after a year of new “raids” ppl would still be doing that one because the lvl/dificulty and loot scales, and not being outdate like in other games like WoW/Rift/SWTOR

I played Wow for many years. I raided for a lot of those. I had about 3 friends when I hit max Level in Burning Crusade. It took me about 2 days to find a raiding guild when I decided to see what is up with that raiding nonsense. Stepping into Gruuls Lair that first time was EPIC. I still remember the joy I had learning that first 5 Ogre Boss fight, learning new things about my class, even wiping and trying again, doing better, being part of this 25 man team was amazing. I was NOT a good player then (Combat dagger dagger rogue with no weapon spec blah blah) which in this much more forgiving game would equate to trying to use a water weapon on land. I made friends I never would have made, I enjoyed an entirely new aspect of the game I never before knew existed, and lastly, that experience, those raiding experiences are what kept me there for years and years.

Now I’ve Left wow, with good memories, but it’s become a thing I dont like anymore. (I miss you still protodrakes!) The Moment i got the Beta Weekend invite I was Hooked. I love the Lore, The game, the Visuals, I even liked it enough to go buy GW1 and play that when I take time from this game. It’s a Rich and well thought out world. The First time i saw the Shatterer I almost peed with glee and awe. I PLay WvW, I do dungeons, tho fractals frankly make me wanna slam my dick in a door instead; But even that’s gotten better since I joined a Guild of awesome people. Which took me about 5 minutes of talking to one of thier members after having seen them around for a bit. No one in the guild asked me if I’d done a place before when I wanted to join, they were helpfull and explained things as we went if it was a path Ididnt know. The GW Community as a whole is refreshingly nice and nontoxic.

But I miss Raiding. I do not feel that Raiding will ruin the environment of this game. Raiding does not have to be some gated horror story. It could drop it’s own tokens as Dungeons do. It could let the designers really show how their multi class synergy is supposed to work on a larger but also more controlled scale. It could drop Unique weapon skins. Heck! Even let it affect your world in a manner like WVW (minor crafting bonuses for all when we crush the Giant Risen Sea Turtle: Tortizahn! Who Drops an awesome looking Spear skin that only those who have defeated him may get a chance to obtain!)

I do not see how this would effect your idea of this game. It’s a large Dungeon that’s Difficult and would require team work and coordination. It’s not Wow-Herpes.

If ppl can have fun doing 5man dungeons why cant we do the same in “Large Dungeons” with more coordenation.?

Some people come to this post and throw stones at us, players who defend raids as if they were obliged to do the raids, when they dont are.

i dont think that grind for a legendary is fun, but i think that having one is fun, so why can i have one now!?

If you ask me what is the future of GW2, ill tell you that if this game dont get some type of Dungeons(8+)/raids even if the reward is only cosmetic, the game will die.

Because "Karka Events " Only give you content for 1-3 days, and this monthly patchs only have content for 2-3weeks, they really need to put something in the game that give you a reason to play.

Ofc this is not a exploit you have the black lion tools that also dont requires LvL and that can be use to mining and chop the “t6” Trees and veins same goes for the harvest

i hope we can do something with the ascended gear, we cant salvage, sell on the TP, use on the Mystic forge and i have a tab on the bank Full of ascended ring just wasting space, plz fix this, make them salvage or used in the Mystic forge

I have some suggestions, one more for WvW that is Change the color so some Attacks (mesmer Portal/Wall of Reflection) i think that im not the only one that dont know if a Mesmer portal is from a “Friend” or a Enemy this also happend with some “bubbles” and Shields.

The other Suggestion is more for the players that farm alot or that do alot of fractals like myself, but in the end i think that can help everyone in the game and can be less time drain, color on the items when they are in the bags(see picture as exemple), this can be helpfull for ppl that farm and have the bags full of gear and never knows what is rare/exotic/masterwork

I dont know if some of this suggestion affect the performance in the game like the color in the WvW, but ofc that if decreses the performance is better dont implement that in the game.

Also i dont know if im the only one but a reputation system would be great

Any plans for Dungeons with 8+ ppl ? or something close to raids that are in other games. When i say raids i dont mean with cosmetic gear.

atleast put some new stuff in that can be useful, i wont wast 10k commandation in salvage kits or Gathering tools.

I think that a “dungeon Finder” is a must in the game.

especially after the implementation of Fractals of the Mists.

But i dont think that we gonna see in this patch, we may see some changes to the LFG design in the game and maybe a channel only for that, well because you cant search in the /M chat.

The only problem that i have with ascended gear right now is:

1- I can do nothing with them( i already have the rings that i need, but i still run fractals everyday because of the fractals skin, so i have around 18 rings in my bank and i cant salvage them, or use them in the mystic forge).

2- to infuse the backpack, my god you need 250ectos!!! only for more 5ar. but atleast you wont need AR in WvW or in others PvE events/dungeons.

the possible upgrade of Exotic to ascended is a great idea especially for WvW.

im having this error after today patch(10-01-2013)

I can log in the game but everytime i select or create a character i go the loading screen and i get that error.

EDIT : I think that is safe to say that is not a firewall/antivirus/router Problem, since i didnt chang anything.

Gold in a Guild Bank is available to anyone with access. So when you have a large guild with a lot of people having access to the coinage, any one person could take it all without fear of retaliation from Anet (or so I believe).

The way I see it, if Anet were to have the ability to refund Guild Bank Gold each time someone “claimed” to have had it all stolen, that would add multiple layers of headache for the Anet Support Team. There’d be no way for them to determine if someone took it legitimately or not. So it would seem it falls under the “Gentlemen’s Agreement” thinking, where you place the trust that others won’t use it wrongly.

This is a big reason why my guild doesn’t put anything of high value in there. If someone were to need a large amount of Gold, we’d probably all be on Vent at the same time, to make the transfer via Guild Bank quickly.

Thats not true, you can “cut” the guild bank permissions and give only to officers, that is what my guild does

Since he got hacked i think that is easy to see in the logs what happend…

he(hacker) logged in the game, blocked everyone in the guild and in the friend list and since the account hacked was a officer account he took all the gold from the guild bank as i can see in the log of the guild bank (ex: abc.0000 withdraw 100g. 14hours ago)

What happends next?? i assume he send the gold using in-game mail to another account to sell it or something.

it is possible to see that in the logs ?

well a officer from my guild got hacked and we lost the gold for the commander that was on the guild bank, and since the System dont refund gold from the guild bank we cant do nothing.

And Since the Hacker got in the email adress he lost all the info about the game(Serial number and CC info)he cant get his account back…

So tell me what should we do now?
should we start all over again since we lost in 1 day all the work that we had done in the last 3 months or stop playing?

So a Officer from my Guild got hacked and the hacker took all our money (around 100g from the guild bank and more 100g from the account hacked) my question is, can the gold be “refunded” to the guild and to the account in question?

My problem is not stopping searching, i hope this is not related with the price of the wine in the trading post.

so when i try to search in the trading post for this item(Bottle Of elonian Wine) the trading post keeps searching and dont stop.
If i try search for the words “wine” “Bottle” or “Elonian” i have the same problem

I already did a “ticket” in-game but anyway.

Theres a orichalcum in the water(cursed shore) that is bugged(its inside the coral i think).

I just got my Pack weapon from the vendor and in the preview the wheel is spinning, But in the “game” is not.

i Have the same problem can someone from Anet confirm this?? its a error in the tooltip or a error in the item?

So today i was trying to sell some items that i craft from leatherworking and after i put them in the trading post, they vanish and i didnt get nothing, i try to check the “items sold” and nothing no record fo the items….

this happend before in one of the test that Anet did with the trading post…
