Or just get rid of Rally/Downed state for everyone EXCEPT servers that are Outmanned.
Really, they are the only one’s who need it other than baddies who are looking to mist-form back into their tower.
Problem is that’s not always the case in upper tiers. I regularly witness the outmanned side running in large zergs, it may be every person on that map is in that Zerg. So in some situations that would work, but a skilled group can easily take out a group twice its size if its just an unorganized Zerg.

I do not disagree there needs to be more story and content, the game has hit a bit of a wall for people that have been here since beta. However, I would personally love to see the weak areas of the game shored up before resources are diverted to stacking more onto a the current product. As it is now it already feels like there are too many small projects tying up dev resources such as adding new mini games, temporary dungeons, and gem store items fluff items while issues that have been present since beta have been largely unresolved.
We first need to leave the beta phase of the game, then enjoy a finished game (if you enjoy the beta, imagine the game with all events and activities working at 100%) and then, we can finally think on a expansion
cant agree with this more. there are still is a lot of issues that still need to be fixed, and if you are focused on the pvp side of the game you know all too well which is causing a lot of people to leave.
Wait so your mad because your not being allowed to solo Lyssa? Gather a group large enough to do Lyssa and you can easily tear down a few walls. You can’t be inconvenienced to guest but it sounds like you will have to to find people doing anyway. With all that said your post can be summed up as I don’t like how they choose to play their game because its not how I WANT TO PLAY, nerf it.
JQ are a for the most part a good group of people, excluding a trolls but what server doesn’t have them. They are without doubt a wvw legacy guild, and have one of of the longest track records in T1 thus far. Good luck to you guys.

Why not just use the EB JP for duels. Seperate map so people won’t flame about wasted spaces and less chance of a guild running you over. There will be a few people in there that specifically look to gank, but they are generally looking for unsuspecting easy kills.

Same VK. We formed like 3 days before fighting you. We changed 100% of our builds after fighting you.
Our movement was actually god awful against RE, it’s the first thing we all QQ’d about on our personal forums.
We really wanted to make sure RE had fun and knew they were in for a fun fight. First 2 matches. We did not do that. Last 5 I think we did.

I would argue against offering cash incentives. If the purchased guild decides to move on later then there will be plenty of bitterness and resentment. The only time I would consider paying a transfer is to lure a guild or guilds to your tier to help organize and train the current population. This would likely be temporary for the guild transfering but could help structure the servers long term guilds.
I am not sure how this will any way break up zergs LOL. So an AC can only kill 50+ but they will not kill 5??? If anything it will just require a larger zerg to take objectives. I cant wait for next week the forums will be :
You created a zerg on my sever because no one could take any keeps anymore unless they had a huge zerg to counter the AC’s.
Who says they cannot kill 5? Arrow carts are effective up to 50. Bigger than 50? Compensate with even more arrow carts. The PvD “tactics” lost viability thus zerging itself lost viability… which is good.
There are also a limit to how big zergs can get thanks to WvW population caps. If defense measures overcompensate, then we could see the end of reckless zerging. If a map-wide zerg is needed to take down one objective, then every other point is undefended which makes it risky to zerg.

Well now a Zerg can’t easily take a tower! Well now it’s nearly impossible for anything under the Zerg size to take anything fully sieged. I predict the community answer will just be bigger zergs. After all small group sieges just got much much more difficult and we already know what the path of least resistance is.
Might I suggest creating two servers to oppose each other instead of one (apologies if this has been suggested and i missed it) This way you will always have an opponent to fight and creates an environment to feed off each other. Not to mention two servers avoiding any type of ppt should be able to stick together easily if its a joint community effort.
On the flip who is to say a Zerg doesn’t abuse this? It would make any class in melee range useless.

If you want small scale fights in a very casual environment, definitely the place to go. While there are “zergs” 20-30+ occasionally a lot of them will be upleveled. As I said its very casual and a lot of people view it as an alternative path for leveling.

You set yourself up for trolling as soon as you said I’m great, and to prove it I have expensive toys( which many hardcore wvw’ers know its not the best place to get rich). And by your comments you suggest that anyone without legendaries are not as “awesome”.
Because no one has said it aloud, the issue people from FC are complaining about is that Agg is paying for the Ferg guild FSU (ironically stands for Fergs Stand United) to move to ET. The FSU guild was formed around the most experienced commanders who use the TS, aka almost every decent or good commander we have is moving to ET. I think we’re going to have maybe 2-3 decent commanders for all times now.
No one has said it because no one has actually stepped forward with any evidence to support the rumor we are paying for their transfers.
So Egg and FSU fought. Egg was impressed and said: “hey lil fella, come over to our side we like rolling weaker servers” and FSU said: “Yess massster”.
If they (Egg) was so impressed, why not fight them again? So who they gonna fight now? Stupid, pointless, degrading.

1) It is not public knowledge but we did make our own members pay their own gold to transfer to ET.
2) You disrespect FSU by assuming their reasons or motives in moving without a direct conformation from them. A friend of a friend that heard it from someone in the guild(position in the guild?) doesn’t count as credible. Pictures and names?
3) We came to T8 for fun and to leave the T1 drama behind. What is being suggested here is counter to our motives. We have no interest in creating a new KN and shooting through the ranks, we could have joined SF if we wanted to go with the next rising star
4) We left BlackGate silently because we didnt want to create any kind of migration. If we didnt try to pull people from T1 why would we do it now?
We came to ET with the goal of having fun and if the interest was there, work with the native population of wvw’ers. If other people like the work this server is doing they are welcome to join the community and help make it stronger. If guilds from other servers transfer over they are welcome to do whataever they feel is in the best interest of their guild. We DO NOT try to scalp competition, otherwise who would we fight? and at the end of the day all we in [Agg] care about is the fights, not the PPT.
Not cool, Agg. I couldn’t tell if it was one of your guys or simply some people tagging along with your group, but your siege on our Bay definitely had some illegal camera zoom action going on just now.

We only had 2-3 sup rams down on the door. Couldn’t have been our siege.
Your mob is completely dependent on the builds your characters are running. There is no strategy, no need for thought or consideration of what is going on around you (particularly those who are suppose to be your team mates); just a mindless run around swing as much as you can.
While that is a good, and quite honestly effective, way of playing. I would rather PvE than that. :S
I would consider a carefully balanced team depending completely on the builds of you character and the synergy with your team mates builds very much a strategy, and one painstakingly planned. And if you think about it, it takes training and coordination to keep our “death train/ball” moving together as one unit. The effectiveness comes into play because we are essentially 25 people picking one fight at a time as opposed to 25 people trying to pick 25 different fights.

I never understood all the zerg hate. It’s a legitimate strategy just like any other, especially if attacking keeps.
Personally I enjoy a good zerg every once in a while, but for the most part I LOVE it when the other servers are all in one big zerg ball. It’s the perfect opportunity to put together a small ~5 man group and either go on the opposite side of the map, or jump into a different map altogether and wreak havoc on their camps, sentries, and depending on upgrades, towers. Small strike groups are when I have the most fun in WvW.
I say let them run around capping one thing at a time. In the time it took your zerg to cap a tower or two, our two separate 5 man groups capped all the camps in your borderlands, and we’re just about to start siege on your towers
What most in the lower tiers don’t understand is that in tier 1 a “Zerg” was often 100+ running around the map. We were actually considered a small group up there. I think that’s why a lot of people get defensive when a group of 20-25 gets called a Zerg, after all that was what we were trying to leave behind. It is easy to see however, the lower tiers are not use to focused guilds running their numbers in force and how this could be seen as a Zerg here. Difference in perspectives, on a side note anyone that faced SF saw what a Zerg should look like.
No offence to the majority of GOM but its amazing to see the posts that read similar to this:
“OMG Agg go to FC BL for once, you are only ever in our BL”
Truth is the first 3 days of reset FC was a bigger threat and Agg was camping our BL. they only moved to you once they hit us hard enough to move us into 3rd. After the weekend GOM started putting up a better fight and Agg found them more of a threat. so plz stop whining that they are in your BL. All is fair they want to be where the threat is.
furthermore: Even as they camped our BL on the weekend we took 1st place, just imagine if the camped us both evenly from the start the score would be very even. they have done the correct thing by targeting the larger threat.
We are just trying to go wherever the fights are, typically the server pushing the hardest will bring it and provide the best challenge.
It is unfortunate but brutally obvious that Arena Net has all but abandoned T8 or they would’ve fixed things months ago.
If you are a guild that wants a shot at real hardcore WvW on a server with a strong commander community try Blackgate.
Don’t believe the poo you hear about T1 servers using hacks because its not true. We are just very competitive and when exploits are caught the person is working alone.
Contact me about moving your guild to T1 for a server wideWvW community with frequent communication between guilds and commanders.
We can also see about minimizing cost.

No thank you… I don’t want to have to be a puppet on the big “hardcore WvW” guilds master plan and I’m sure many down here share the same.
I would like to add here that the transfers out of blackgate in no way should reflect bad on the server. The transfers were due to the state of the top tiers and how we felt our play style fit there. We still have the utmost respect for BG and I would personally recommend anyone looking for a top tier server to check them out first.
