Essex Hills Tower was the best dungeon / mini activities I ever had in this game. It would be great to bring this kind of “Halloween” type of activity, maybe it should be some region /set of mini dungeons with nice Gothic mansion and cemetery locations with their own bosses. Seriously – the best stuff and fun I had down there…

Rapid Regeneration: The base healing of this trait has been reduced from 150 to 20 when under the influence of superspeed and from 25 to 5 when under the effects of swiftness. Level and healing values continue to scale the same for superspeed. Swiftness’s scaling with levels has been increased by 20%.
150 to 20 and from 25 to 5 – WHAT IS THIS? Its now completely useless. Nice playing engie, dead class for me right now. Calling it elite class is a joke.

I like (and others too) scrapper gameplay. If You dont no one is forcing You to play with hammer – play with ur beloved kits. Maybe the class needs some option for players that want to play nice engie with hammer and spamming keys not kits? Not everything has to be about you. Play kits if u miss them…
Engie is part of the PvP meta for more than 2 years non-stop and was occasionally so strong, that some pro teams were using 2 of them. Calling this pathetic and putting current scrapper on the same stage as guard or warrior when it comes to the need of nerfes, makes it impossible to take you serios.
really now? can we get some evidence on pro teams not on ly having 2 engineers but owning their game victories to said engineers now ?
if i recall anything what teams usually had was 2 eles
hell if anything i think 2 engineers are all the engineers that play in pro pvp and the only one i ve seen has been five gauge lol , but i do agree putting scrapper in the same stage as dragon hunter is absurd scrapper needs some serious buffing to catch up to DH cheapness
True. Sometimes I think all of this warriors, guardians etc will be satisfied when scrapper will have 1 skill only. Otherwise – it will be OP all the time. Every class has some OP skills, Necro dmg output – conditions etc. Warrior the same. Nerf them first, and do not touch scrapper as it is in perfect balance at the moment imho. I play a lot of pvp and sometimes i win a lot , sometimes I die but its always balanced… Enough said – no nerfs, we got them a lot recently.
FT and EG the only kit I use, others – especially bomb with its weird animation (they should return to previous bomb kit representation imho) very rarely…
After many PvP fights (recent and older) I got this feeling, right now scrapper is in perfect balance. I run it with 2 elixirs (hgh) and 2 gyro (shield n purge), it got (because of nerfs) a little bit weaker but now it looks like the other classes needs to get nerfed a little and we have a perfect balance among all of them (at least in PvP)… Dont You think?

However a nerf to rapid regeneration is sorely needed. Either that or hammer needa a slight damage nerf and fewer leaps on 3.This doesn’t mean that other classes don’t need nerfing too, if it were not for the current god tier on scrapper we would have no way to deal with necros at all.
No its not needed. This pathetic posts about nerfing some class just because someone is to weak to defeat are getting tedious. If scrapper will get nerfed with its core survival abilities (which is needed for medium armor class , being created for medium range combat) then warrior should get nerf with dmg or guardian with boosts etc. These are their core play abilities (the way the class should be functioning) and this would be only fair to do. Should I remind again how juggernaut was nerfed and few other scrapper skills as well? Before scrapper engineer was pathetic, and now when its as easy to play as other button hitter classes – morons that cant take it are writing about nerfs. One more – if scrapper should be weaker in survival why giving him hammer at all?

No time my friend, no time. Engie was my fav. I was playing since beginning when it was very weak, constantly nerfed down, kicked from dungeons for being pathetic etc. Just used to it, I had every build ever posted Loved it to much man, now with scrapper I am really satisfied. Until nerfs will go down. Why they dont nerf necro or warrior – no idea. Engie surv is based on traits and it should stay this way, scrapper is very balanced right now – no need to nerf because some freaking morons dont find it easy to kill like it was before….
They are other classes that need nerf, scrapper was nerfed enough so anet should really think this through. For me scrapper saved the class – if not this I wouldnt be playing at all. I have only 1 char, and limited time (there is more ppl like me), and I play engie from release…
It got way better with scrapper. Now u can play without kits and its really fun. The only problem is some cry babies crying all the time how strong and op it is so anet will nerf survivability which will make engineer as pathetic as it was before. Hope it will not happen. But now – its the best, most fun class imho. Till the nerf day….

Maybe some ppl like me want to play without kits? It should be possible considering weapon limitations on engi. Now i play with hammer / gyros and elixirs and finally its fun, without hitting multiple keys and changing freaking kits all the time.
Not true. Stealth is qui pro quo – I play with the crate instead of it to get healing and dmg boost instead escaping option. Lets not nerf anything, as engineer was PATHETIC class for all this years, being kicked from teams in pve and pvp. Whoever thinks it needs nerf is kittened. I want warrior and necro to be nerfed as well, to much dmg, but hey this is they core play and we learned to counter them and now they are saying to lower scrapper survivability?
Why gave us hammer then? It needs direct contact so we need boost to surv, seriously there is lack of logical thinking on anet side.

Let’s remove all dmg from hammer. You know what? It offers too much defense, let’s remove also that. And while we’re at it, the hammer has too many skills anyway. 5? Are you kidding me? Too OP! 1 is enough – the skill that downs engi when people with l2p issue attack scrapper.
Engineer should do 1 dmg per sec, its enough. I remember when they removed stability from Jug – it returned later. I have slowly enough these nerfs. ENG Is my only char and if they would keep nerfing it I will be useless like before and stop playing….
Bullcrap. Another kittened post. Finally I dont feel like crap playing engineer. Scrapper SHOULD NOT BE NERFED. We always get nerfs (do I have to remind stability eng nerf that we got anyway?). ENG is about survival so if we get nerft I want necro and war and guard and all other to get nerfs to their core game play style. Period.

Why +200 to toughness is not shown in stats – does it work at all?
Complete this god kitten kit good – think about it Anet – ONE PATCH, not freaking change every few months – why for example smoke vent (5skill) is not leaving smoke field? Would it be so hard? Any other ideas to make this kit viable – pls below….

Agreed – thats what I wanted to say – briefly: polishing, for example : why smoke from FT is not a smoke screen? Could be usefull. Engineer should have all this tricks available – being a little bit weaker ( i agree it has to be) but all of this screens/blasts/fields of different kind , playing him would be hard but rewarding – you would have to learn it like it is now , but thanks to what I have mentioned while mastered – it should be very good.
WE SHOULD ALSO GET TWO HAND EQUIVALENT→ LIKE STEAM HAMMER → THIS IS LOGICAL THING TO BE USED BY ENGIEE :d I would like to see it as one of the guard/warrior classes, something in between but having mechanical buffs etc.
Why power shoes should give us only 25% buff and not 33? What is wrong with perma swift for engineer ( i know we have it via kits) ? What is wrong with stability and cond removal like with other classes? Why its so hard to have good build with decent cond removal – we have it through some traits but it takes at least 2 of them from alchemy line to have some decent condie rem, I have seen many times warrior / guard or other classes with strong knockbacks, confusions etc and it was not considered an overpowered build – why for our engie everything good is coming with such a limitations that it makes playing it harder then the other classes? Additionally why rocket shoes are so diff to use (doing some acrobations during the process) → why not just jump this freaking 1000m like guards do? They can jump and straight away transform it into movement with engiee its possible but again timing required….

no when having swiftness and u run away after being shot / hit u still have speed , with this i have noticed slowing down , its like power shoes does not work after being hit/shot. I dont know should it be like this?
Another bug with engineer – while having power shoes – +25% to run after being shot it slows down.
no it would be just doubled, and more useful as circle on the ground is much better…
Yet another bug from bug-gineer – thump (overcharge) from thumper turret does not finishes with blast.
Shouldnt napalm from FT be round like the toolbelt skill from FT turret instead of being rectangular?

Well 7bf is not so bad in PvE fighting a boss like in SE dung. So much blasts + damage (bob + 2x turret explosion). And all the healing, nice gif btw – i will try it
Maybe it should be increased to 5? I mean Ele has 2 waterfield skills, eng should have this 5 sec, would be great for support.

Well i do not use shield, but i really helped my team in fract/dung. 3x healings and reg from turret + elite supply with 9 medkits and another turret, I think it really saved some kitten X>
How many combos have u guys ever done? I just had fun with healing turret and was able to do 3x max (healing turret blown, blast from mine + support elite skill). IMHO water field could be like 5 sec not 3 – then I could do even 5 …

Well in general I refer to bugs related to design flaw of the class. I mean pathetic FT was good with inc powder, but they have destroyed the one and only usefull FT build down there…. If this is not “a bug” then I dont know what is. Many others bugs like long cd on some traits making it useless (protection after crit with cd – 20sec – wtf ?), why inv after being immobilized – cd 25sec? should be less. The same with cd related to both traits – resetting toolbelt and healing it could be 45-60 sec not 90.
Other classes have some viable powerfull options and we have as well but flaws make it less powerfull. In PvP engineer is not so bad (beside pathetic downed skills but there are not so imp).
I would like it to apply more burn, and NAPALM SHOULD NOT BE RECTANGULAR… SHOULD BE ROUND. But that just day dreaming
BTW lots of posts here are being written by non-engineers or someone for whom engineer is not a main class. I wonder why…….. Especially posts about necessity to nerf something or justifying some nerfs… Very interesting.

Well to all the “op” whiners – bomb kit reduces my dmg of big ol bomb by almost 600 , so it is weaker then exotic rifle (when i am not in the kit its way bigger dmg). I dont want rifle stats to apply but kit stats to be at least better, is this so much to ask? While other classes (we all know which one) have very usefull dps skills , many , many weapons, this sould be done to engineer months ago.
But when we got sigils on kits after 1 year, so who knows if it will be afterall “engineer is in the decent place right now”, I would not call it decent, more “kittenty”, but heck , what do I know, I just play only engineer since the beginning, witnessing all the nerfs and not fixed bugs….
For someone that does not craft having few piles of 250 asc mat, just take space in chest…
Is there any reason why we can not sell them on BL as normal materials?
One suggestion for engineer : Napalm skill from FT should not be rect but round like from bomb or toolkit skill from flame turret…
