Well this topic is about the Trade Post not working there is a separate topic talking about the TGupdate. Also yes I can read and know what you were referring to and yet still no this does not stop the tgupdate from occurring.
That is not a fix. It is old and outdated way of them trying to fix it without actually knowing what it is needs fixed. I have already tried that a few days ago and it did nothing.
I love the overall silent treatment we are getting from Anet on this matter. Not so much as a feint idea as to an eta or even a we are working on it. So fed up with this company at this point and this game.
I just find it intriguing that this game states support for mac yet it is truly not a mac client it is a wrapper which by definition is not the same thing. To have a client means that it is coded around the kernel that system is built on. A wrapper is a port and in most cases is very touch and go I think for macs Aspyr does wrappers best. Anet just needs to either drop mac and focus windows or they need to fully support Mac and stop half stepping us. We pay good money for this game and I’m sure most of us have spent multitudes of cash when the gem store is working and to receive this kind of silence from a company is absurd.
I lawl thieves and wars on my mesmer maybe no offense and i mean this in the nicest way but you should l2p mesmer better op. I run a full carrion set staff build and make most folks run away. 1v1 is laughable most fights. Hell 1v3 is pretty doable long as your not complete trash at mesmer.
Trying to log in keep getting into character select and then soon as i hit play client crashes serious error.
Flaming I see you constantly posting in the mac sections do you even run a mac? also we have all been running mavericks since long before this issue came about. I can guarantee that it is not mavericks at the root. Seeing as how the gem store was working perfectly fine prior to patch and mavericks has been out for going on 2-3 months.

Well I found a work-around for the gem store problem. I logged into the game using my son’s windows computer and bought gems. It is really annoying that I had to do this because this is an issue that you would think Anet would fix quickly as it is losing them money for every Mac user that can not buy gems.
Please Anet fix the gem store to work with Mac.
I think the problem we as Mac users face is Anet doesn’t see the revenue loss from us as we may not actually be that large of a market to them. Either that or they are absolutely clueless and truly just care about the bottom line in which case we will most likely see an update to fix this but doubt we will ever truly see a native client free from beta. I for one am fed up and tired of supporting this company.

YES it would be wonderful if there was a native client. But at the end of the day the amount of people who are holding out because of the client not being native would be rather low so the increase in account purchases isn’t likely to cover the cost of completely reconstructing assets to work natively in OpenGLYou just gave me an idea…

Also in response to your ESO comment a few posts up. I don’t see ESO taking a substantial chunk of GW2’s players. It is a very different kind of game, from what I understand in some ways it’s more akin to GW1 than it is to GW2. Even then it’s a sub based game and subscription games are not really thriving at the moment (ignoring WoW because it’s old and has managed to hold onto most of it’s players and can therefore be set to the side). ESO’s launch I imagine won’t be that different to FFXIV’s (although in my opinion FFXIV is by far the superior game) in that a lot of people will try it out for a month or so but only a small fraction will decide to continue paying their subscription. That’s where GW2 really shines because the second those people get bored of their new shiny they will come back to GW2 because they don’t need to pay a sub fee.
Totally untrue look at final fantasy sub based and #1 at mmorpg.com it has a huge following and WoW is still very much going strong with over 8 million subs. GW2 is a great game but you bet your bottom dollar that the lack of mac support will definitely be a downfall if they don’t act fast there are several games coming that will support Mac and will be f2p and or sub either way I will not be one to stick around and continue dumping time and money into a company that just does not appreciate or show support for my efforts and the multitude that feel the same way. Just look at how many people have commented on this let alone looked at this Topic itself. Let alone reddit.

Such a laughable thing, 4 months and still no word love it. Great support from the devs. I am fairly confident that I am done with this game supporting it both with my time and finances is like throwing bills in to an empty hole with no reward. Anet seems to care nothing for its mac community.
Still no word I see, feels like mac community really gets pushed in the dark. A beta client has been around for over a year its time for Anet to really push a native client to Mac. I am sure the mac community has more than paid there dues.
Seems back to normal now game is loading back again and am able to play.
Mac Beta Client error exception c0000094 occurring after todays patch. I can get as far as character selection when the loading screen begins for loading in to the world it attempts to load and then crashes.
Just an update this is still bugged that is all.
Without the Holy Trinity, you run into communities like this one where people classify each profession based on usefulness so warrior,guardian etc typically with thief ending up on bottom.
Now spin it in to a holy trinity warrior would have been a tank/dps guard would have been a support/tank etc. there would have been a healer specific class or classes and thief would be a great dpser along with ranger thus making them more sought after in dungeons and such.
I have actually tested this now in dungeons and in general pve exploration and must say that Natsu no offense but you are incorrect. Things take a matter of seconds to die. Also I walk away from vet mobs with almost full health so the survivability plus the dps is such a nice mix. I have run 4 Ac’s p1 and p3 twice each and no group has complained and I have in some cases been the only one not to go down.
Although in instances such as ac is concerned where I can see that ice bow usage is affected as this build with rabid gear has no real power to speak of direct damage wise thus I do not see the full effects of usage of such things as if someone in full berserkers. I however enjoy a game where everyone is not pigeon holed in to using 1 class of armor and 1 weapon sheerly because it is easier and the so called preferred method.
The skill point challenge for Kessex Hills utilizing the turret ol’stinky is not working. I assume this is due to the tower of nightmares. However I appreciate the fact that Arenanet implements new content please when you do this be sure that the rest of the content is not affected I spent over 30 minutes trying to figure this out and is not how I enjoy spending my time nor does it reflect in a positive way.
That is all also Black lion trade is constantly not loading to where I have to log out and back in and do this some times several times repeatedly. Again however much I appreciate new content please Anet make sure you have a solid platform to do this.

I would disregard. I run the mac client on a mid 2012 macbook pro and runs perfectly never had a crash just issues with black lion trade. I would suggest running in mac client especially so that if you do have issues you can post them and hopefully light a fire under devs to show more support for a native mac client. The more that mac users are pushed to a boot camp style play the less the mac client gets looked at. I say you bought a mac not a windows computer for a reason play mac it’ll run just fine.

Is what I have used and am having my wife use. It has 2 options a staff variation and a gs/sf both have pros and cons but very well written and up to date leveling guide.
My biggest frustration with this build that he runs is the gear. He says Valks gear w/Travelers Runes you are talking a almost 100gold investment. The armor is 24 gold and only available via craft so either u make or buy it. The runes are roughly 10g each x6 60 gold for those and 4g and some change for the armor x 6 so 25 gold there about 85 gold.
Ive never had a crash. I have issues with TP not loading and logout and login seems to fix that sometimes takes a few times but. Also I have issues where when in the TP and exiting that window my game brightness changes and I have to alt tab out but no actual game crashing.

I am just curious if the standard full zerker with 20/30/x/x/x is the standard for fotm or if there is a more standardized build.

I was just curious im thinking about leveling my ele and not sure what best route is in pve leveling to do so. I have been doing i believe a d/d but not sure if staff would be better or any other wpn types.
Just lookin for a leveling guide that may offer traits to follow etc if there is a best route anywhoo thank for the replies in advance.
My wife just had this issue when trying to view a vista by pressing F key it would not recognize her key press. I tabbed out and went in to safari to see if this would duplicate elsewhere and it did not. I ended up exiting out of client and coming back in and it worked again. This should really be addressed. I find myself having to exit out of client multiple times a day because of various bugs unsure if mac or all clients have but trade also bugs out where i have to exit and come back in and then it will load.
I was wondering if anyone knows why or has a fix for this. It does not happen every time i hit esc but often several times it will dim and i will have to command tab out and then back in to game and it will fix it but is there a way to not have this happen?.
Is this for level 80 to be more specific I’m looking for level breakdowns I.e 1-10 11-20 etc

Was an ok guild while in it I never saw more than about 5-10 ppl on at a time. I was kicked with no explanation, attempted to hop on vent to find out what happened and was given a very childish cold shoulder. For being a mature guild very immature the way I was treated in the end.
