Legit question: What is your favorite color?
http://youtu.be/pWS8Mg-JWSgWhy do witches burn??
A legit question my liege. It seems that the Internet has the answer:
http://youtu.be/rJFA6uEfUlMDOH!! and here i was hoping we could go back and forth.. i just wanted to say BUILD A BRIDGE OUT OF HER!!!
Wait, wait, we can salvage this….
“very small rocks…”
Err, no, maybe not. For a legit way of continuing, perhaps I should have consulted the Book of Armaments:
Had one of the illustrators I work with do it while we had downtime on another job. He doesn’t play (although he really should) but was a good sport about it. This was way more fun that what we were working on
The creepy " Come, I have candy in my van"
Asura is his favorite.
Love his drawings, and I wish he’d do more. <3
…
…of GW2 that is, seeing how of course he’d do more drawings as an illustrator.
To the relatively unknown Jscull,
On behalf of the glorious NoQQ 35 man zerg, we are shocked and appalled that you claimed that you have sent invitations to us to fight against real opponents. Shocked that anyone would ask us to do anything anymore after a certain incident when someone asked Charrcat to pass the salt (On a happy note, using a good amount of CLR and a lot of scrubbing took care of most of the stains). Appalled to learn that after all this time, all NoQQ’s been doing is flailing around fighting imaginary opponents as opposed to real ones.
We would ask that you resend your invitation, though considering the tendency of the majority of letters that have been sent to use usually end up not only being unread, but utilized as paper airplanes, we fear it may be a futile gesture.
Yours truly,
They offer counting lessons at the same store u can pick up ur DDLG trashbag
Pixieish, you know that really wasn’t ADQQBtsy right? I mean the guy sounded like Oozo, but he slipped up and gave it away when he said “Pick up your bags.”
Oh I’m… mostly sure that was Stylii that said that…
I was shocked that Oozo actually was trying to pick stuff up during the fights… though it’s still a strange new concept to him. Observe how the bloodthisty Oozo tosses stuff into his bags, too focused on murdering the next helpless NSP to realize it’s just falling out.
Clearly what Oozo needs is a backpack. Please, help support our loot deprived necromancer by donating to our “Oozo needs bagspace” charity. Over 3% of what you donate will help fund a nice shiny pink Quaggan backpack for everyone’s favourite Oozo, and if you donate now, you’ll even get a handwritten note from Oozo himself, thanking you for your support.
So… you dive into a bunch of DDLG… you charge in all the way into some trigger happy Legendary Defenders…
…
Oh yes, DDLG… such a bunch of baddies. I suppose they were supposed to politely back off before attacking you one at a time.
…okay. I’ll have to admit, that was a pretty awesome video, though I might be a bit biased. Who was the artist?
This is a movie of us “bottom-feeding” by holding off 30+ (just guessing) NSP reinforcements headed to SM. DR’s main forces eventually cap SM.
Ooo~ A new video? And so soon? <3
Pity I kept dying last night. All the NSP and GoM wanted to use my little asura as a yoyo…
*Reisenji and Gab Superstar sometimes post about servers, PPT, and siege, but we tolerate their heresy.
There’s no N in my name. Why does everyone think there’s an N? How would you like it if I suddenly started saying Larkz instead of Larks in mumble, hm? Bet you wouldn’t like that!
And I like points… it gives me something to yap about while everyone else is off not killing things.
Well, you know what’s worse than fractals? Guild bounty missions. Stand around for an hour, waiting for things to get organized, finding some of the silliest targets, and then a flurry of chaos for 15 minutes, just for a couple of tokens. Repeat this over a month, and then you get an earring!
I for one welcome our Arrow Cart overlords.
Arrowcarts were pathetic before this patch. You get a red circle with lots of time to dodge out of it, and if you don’t, nerf darts will rain from the sky, lightly bouncing off of you, a true threat against afk glass cannon thieves.
Of course, catapults will probably see even more usage now that rams on a gate will likely be screwed by a single arrowcart, and I would like to see said arrow cart have a reduction in damage against siege…
You know, DR has held the lead before, during weekends, though usually briefly. Usually though, by Monday, that slim point lead usually disappears. Worse still is if we never had the point lead in the first place, and tend to slug it out with third place while the first place server sits contently with a massive buffer of points.
Perhaps I’m wrong, but I think today marks the first time since Devona’s Rest suffered through the dark times of Maguuma and Kaineng that the server has managed to get the points lead… during the weekday, and in spite of getting knocked to third place during the weekend (though by the slimmest of margins).
I’d say that now all we need are some Kiwis to help us with our overnight game, but… not too sure if I want to leave this tier any time soon.
Well, way to reward the zergs then.
Honestly, I’ve been so focused on the fighting so far this tier that I’ve been ignoring loot for the most part. It’s a lot different when you aren’t being challenged.
This movie displays my elite looting skills.
I liked the part where you picked up the loot bag.
OMG pick up ur loot bags! I cant watch this without subconsciously spamming F! fun vid tho, good job =D
I know! I saw a chest he wasn’t picking up, drove me nuts.
Oh please. Oozo has no need for material wealth, Oozo only thirst for blood and…
…
…that… that chest. Pick it up Oozo… Pick it up! Why won’t you pick it up?!
If a leader is leading his troops over a cliff the guys around him will warn him and he will make his troops turn around.
^Just this.
This and this alone.Potato.
I thought the entire point of a commander sigil was to lead people off of cliffs?
(I am also disappointed that trying to search for such a thing on Youtube doesn’t bring up any amusing videos. For shame! I demand videos of WvW lemmings, kitten it!)
My god! You know what this might mean? People might start playing warriors in WvW! Except if all the warriors starting nomming on lemongrass soup, the price will rise up to 20 silver and, well…
Portal? Feh! We need teleporters!
Quick little score update for those asking
I think it’s safe to say that ADQQSTY is having fun on this tier. Easier to find smaller, skillful groups of people rather than huge swarms of rednames.
Had an interesting time on NSP BL for a lot of the evening. We found ourselves between GoM and NSP fighting for control of Bay, and happily dived in, stomping on whoever was in our way, though it sort of seemed like GoM was unfairly bearing the brunt of our attacks.
We… found GoM’s golems too at one point. Not quite too sure what they were doing wandering around by that tower, actually. I’m guessing the former golem owners got a tad annoyed after we killed some of them.
Well, second day, and it’s still looking pretty bloody close. Remains to be seen how DR will look on Monday, but for now, I think this match is proving to be fun.
Had an impressive little fight over a camp where our reinforcements barely managed to reach Golanta before it was about to be flipped. Seemed like a lost cause when I first showed up to see a circle full of red names, actually…
Actually, there is a ‘secret’ that apparently allows you to remain in the game indefinitely; even when dead.
Huh… never thought of people changing their gear around while dead to avoid the afk-kick as much of a secret.
I don’t know… usually the more rams I toss down, the more my frame rate goes down…
…
Oh all right, to be serious, my 8 gig prebuilt HP handles WvW without much noticeable loss except near very large zerg, though I do have the graphics tweaked a little. (Everything on high, including model count, though the quality of the models when there’s a lot on screen is set to low, seeing how if I’m surrounded by a zerg, I’m probably not interested in examining their outfits closely.)
Well, looks like things are going back and forth a lot so far… I suppose the big question is how will everything look overnight.
OMG! We should have moved down instead of DR.
And now you realize DR’s cunning strategy, but too late!
DR may have lost a lot after the weekend, but at least we managed to retake Stonemist in the end, in spite of those other two server’s efforts.
On to the next match!
So, I’m supposed to feel sorry that your one trick build is broken now? Hold on, let me get my violin.
Whereas I, for one, think that reset should happen on a randomly determined number, and I will complain loudly until the devs bend to my whim!
This one is for you cat-lovers out there.
Love the footage, jealous of how tanky you are… but oh god your taste in music!
I will admit, I am actually looking forward to dropping to Tier 7 for a couple of reasons.
Personally, I think our dear Devona’s Rest is just a bit demoralized, seeing how we never had a proper win in ages. Oh sure, managed to hold onto second place for ages quite often, but usually it felt like to me that we tended to just scrape up some points while the first place server nearly constantly kept their borderlands and a third of EB green.
Really, there’s only been two times that we even had a chance to rightfully claim first place, or even get close, since the Maguuma and Kaineng massacred this server. And both times we saw that hard fought lead disappear after the weekend.
The second reason why I’m hoping that the DR actually is dropping a tier is, well, Sorrow’s Furnace.
I have a feeling that the server, locked into Tier 8 for so long, and longing for revenge on all the upper tiers smugly stating they belonged down there, should be just as bad if not worse as Darkhaven in sheer numbers and coverage, and while I do look forward to that fight, I’m hoping to watch it from a distance.
I’m sure DR will bounce back up eventually after we get a few victories, though hopefully not until we have a few more overnight guilds show up.
Eh, we were trying to make some headway in your borderlands… I… I mean… we were helping you… in your borderlands… yeah…
…but then ran back to DRBL to defend it.
All I am saying is, Moa Form is OP, it need a nerf on several levels to even it out from the Hazmat suit. Not even going to list all the reasons, as the community can for me.
i’m wondering if this is why ioj and dr finally woke up, they’re afraid to come down to t7?
It’s not so much that DR’s woken up, but rather DR’s picked up some oceanics so that DH actually has a bit of a fight when it’s running around overnight trying to pick up easy points.
You know, I would argue with my esteemed DR colleagues, but… if their complaining will have DH and IoJ (continue) to stomp around in our borderlands, I’m all for it. None of us are going to squeeze up a tier any time soon, so someone might as well drop a tier and let Sorrow’s Furnace strut their stuff.
After the map turned green (around 12-1 am PST)…
I think that’s your problem. That’s 3-4 am EST, and you said AFTER. What kind of response are you expecting at that hour?
No, no, it’s DR’s fault that we don’t have enough oceanic’s to stop DH’s skillful attempts to defeat our doors. I’m embarrassed to admit that I totally got outplayed by them… granted I was in pillow and blanket spec at the time, but still, that’s hardly an excuse for me.
It’s to counter rams and golems, pretty much. The arrowcarts can still damage anyone standing right up against the gate, and while the catapult can’t hurt rams through the gate anymore (supposedly), it can still hit other people with its splash damage and interrupt them. Also the catapult can still shoot over the wall in some instances, as a bonus.
While yes, DH’s tendency to run into rather large groups is a pain, and yes, it’s probably unlikely DR will be able to score first this week (So close yet so far), but…
I… actually don’t think we can complain all that much this week, if things keep up. With possibly the exception of Tier 8, this current tier fight is the most balanced one of all the other tiers. Who knows, maybe next week, DH’s fairweathers will finally call it quits, letting our fairweathers suddenly flock in.
Though I feel like I’m forgetting about someone in this matchup… /doesn’t notice IoJ’s flailing around
Well, outmanned in EB again, with a horde of Darkhaven attacking our keep, with barely any DR protecting it, so it’s pretty obvious what would happen, after they got the gates down with their many rams and…
…or wait somehow DR manages to rally an impressive defense in a hurry and my little engineer had a lovely path of shiny badges to nibble on.
Also, to that group of Darkhaveners hungering for my blood so much that they chased me from Lowlands to QL, I salute your determination to follow me right into my friendly reinforcements.
last episide guild of our lifes: isle of jambo host great jingle of christmas feast when bring a derk haven and debona’s rest guest to big roasted bird feast. a murderd man of fat and jolly, santa, wreck disorder to holiday of everyone. and so, a police or batman needed to deliver world children in happy and joy and present before debona’s rest labor in pregnants
Bah! I keep dying in your videos. (In my defense, I figured it was either jump down and die with friendlies, or stay up there and get pummelled by red names.)
I agree. I also have another problem with pvp. They should fix it.
So some people are talking about the new mysterious additions to Devona’s Rest army.
In breaking news, perhaps due to a desire to join the “would be superior server if it wasn’t for those dang zerglings”, perhaps a desire to avoid getting her face used as a cushion by some of the AD, or perhaps she’s a SPY!!
…Swindler has now moved to the DR, and clearly isn’t just guesting since that would just be silly~
Furthermore she hasn’t denied any suggestions that she intentionally moved to DR as of yet!
tSK, TSK, [AD], tsk tsk!! I thought we were friends!
They probably knew it was you.
Pretty sure they’re just kittenty people.
Thats Interpreter, our Public Relations officer. Unfortunately he thought we said ‘Pubic Relations Officer’ and we haven’t been able to convince him otherwise. Sry =P
In his defense, he does get tired easily, and we’ve heard that Darkhaveners make suitable cushions, and really, who would want to sit on that dirty ground?
So, as I slowly wake up here, and sip some tea, I’ve noticed that DH is still slowly pulling ahead of us. Clearly the DR needs to end its super secret alliance with Darkhaven to crush IoJ, and needs to improve its super secret alliance with our dear friendly IoJ to crush Darkhaven, all while trying to deal with those evil traitorous IoJ and their super secret alliance with Darkhaven.
Unlike the past few matches, the DR started a full scale offensive on Darkhaven’s borderlands, with a well deserved desire for revenge. While the rest of our forces carried out all the siegework, ADQQSTY tried to do its best to keep DH distracted and reeling.
We did manage to score a few victories, but seeing how there was a huge amount of numbers being fielded on both sides, we also had to do a few hasty retreats as well once our framerates began dropping heavily, and our screens were filled with a sea of red names.
At one point the DR had the bottom half of DH’s map secure, and I was even getting optimistic that we’d soon be going for garrison, but then our commanders suddenly disappeared (presumably to focus their attention on Stonemist), and our scattered unorganized forces were soon pushed back rather quickly by the DH hordes.
So Darkhaven is still increasing its lead, though it’s still a pretty close match. I can only hope that our night crew will be able to continue whatever it is they’ve been doing to keep the greens from simply retaking everything while we slept.
Maguuma is getting a good and thorough trouncing by a bigger server? Ooo! Ooo! Let me play a sad little song for you! [/Devona’sRestSchadenfreude]
I also see that Kaineg is getting pummeled too. This week is really turning out rather nicely, I figure.
Peeked into the Eternal Battleground and there I noticed that things were pretty dire for the DR. We were down to a tower and VK, with the keep under constant attack by DH.
Unlike some of the pugs where we get to have giggles at golems being built on the walls, superior rams built under oil, and other unique siege placement, this DH swarm seemed intent on doing it by the book, starting off with a good amount of rams on the north outer gate and taking care to decimate our defensive siege. Fortunately for us, a bunch of general DR had ensured VK was well sieged up, and while the swarm charged against Inner East, our defenders managed to barely hold them at bay. The outer gate was repaired and redestroyed several times, the DH not being fond of our pairing attempts. Near the end of it, while I and a small force ensured that DH couldn’t trickle through the outer gate, we noticed that curiously the enemy was somehow building up siege.
I really must congratulate DH on using mesmer portals to get supplies into our keep, though luckily it wasn’t enough, and we managed to eradicate the swarm, with the east gate looking in really bad shape.
…and then they built trebuchets.
As rocks bashed against our northeast walls, we managed to direct our own artillery fire onto Bravost, though a breach was soon open, and again DH piled in. While they were busy trying to take out our gates, we were still busy taking out their trebuchets. They even had a couple cleverly hidden on a reverse slope to the south of Bravost, though it wasn’t clever enough.
Soon Darkhaven’s resolve seemed to slowly disappear, and so did our outmanned buff, though they continued to persistently build catapults and trebuchets, as well as multiple ballista to try to kill our precious artillery.
And then, after a fierce battle of several hours, the siege was lifted, and DR victoriously regained our lost towers, all while grumbling at the mess DH left behind.
The DR may have lost the lead, but it’s only by the slimmest of margins, and whatever it is that we’re doing to keep this war so close, I hope we can manage to keep it up.
Shockingly, the DR have managed to snatch the lead again, though just barely!
Will Darkhaven start bringing out pictures of outmanned DH surrounded by a horde of ravenous Devona’s Rest with unusual siege placement? Will the IoJ finally unveil their secret plan? Will half of the DR playerbase be hospitalized at the end of the week for sleep deprivation if they can manage to keep the maps being painted green overnight?
I’m going to be honest with you, the reason why we’re helping DH get rid of you is… well… you kind of creep us out. It wouldn’t be so bad if you just did it in the keeps, but no, you just have to do your weird tongue action in public too…
So… from “Evil IoJ, how dare they not join us in our crusade against DH!” to “Oh those IoJ, so insignificant…”
Really, I can’t see how any of that is going to help the DR server unless if you actually want to goad them into giving us a proper double teaming.
And now for some actually serious subject matter…
…our beloved bovinic feline seems depressed! For mysterious reasons, Charrcat has taken a liking to fishnet tops and very tight pants, as well as a collar, though I’m certain he’s always been wearing that. There isn’t any evidence whatsoever about what brought about this change of behaviour, but I can say with absolute confidence that clearly this was IoJ’s plan all along! For shame!
So… we’ve gone from complaining about Darkhaven’s numbers to trying to form an alliance with IoJ by flinging insults at them.
…
So anyways!
I see DH passed us in points.
