Influenced heavily by the builds of Avlis and Lord Titan, this all-purpose WvW build offers great damage and great survivability! It also has excellent Condition Management: something Warriors have historically struggled with.

In Guild Wars 1 we had this amazing continous global tournament, the Heroes Ascent. If you won you would get some good-looking PvP gear, a chance to get a unique minipet to that chest and your team’s name would be broadcasted throughout the server chat. How awesome was that?
I don’t understand how this is relevant to your argument at all. None of these rewards helped a PvP player become a PvE player, nor are they anything beyond cosmetic rewards that required a lot of dedication to get, kind of like what we’ve got now.
But yeah, something to bridge the gap would be nice. The two modes shouldn’t be equivalent and overlap due to the nature of the game, but a long-time PvP player should have an opportunity to move forward.
Maybe make the new Tomes of Knowledge (gain a level on use) a rare drop or buyable with like 10k glory? That way a PvP player can skip some of the leveling with enough PvP, but not all of it.

Yes it was. It’s always been this bad.
Granted, unless one of us has videos/packetsniffs/etcetera of a three-way SM fight from 7 months ago, we can’t really argue it.

If the skill lag was going to kill WvW, WvW would have died 7 months ago.
That being said, yes, this skill lag is really bad and some kind okittennowledgement from ANet would be super peachy.

Gravel-voiced Steve Blum is all over the place, too. He voiced Rhytlock and many different Charr.
Why are you taking sword instead of axe? Considering that you are still in a heavy power build the axe burst is superior to the sword bleeds.
If you’re serious about bow dps, you need the 1200 bow trait to convert your basic shots into 100% finishers ( that you do, of course, thru combushot.)
This build is not cased on condition damage, it’s based on AoE burst (longbow) and mobility (sword.)
The only problem I have with the fight is the inability to really hold aggro on a target. This resulted in a lot of ping-ponging the golem across the center of the room, keeping him supercharged far too long.
Seconded. The translucent red is very difficult to see over the clashing turquoise. I don’t know if the solution is to change the dungeon’s textures or change the rings again, but it’s pretty rough on the eyes.
PvP in a PvP zone? It’s more likely than you think!

That’d be considered too strong I’m sure. It would be wonderful though!
Yeah, I was thinking about that as I was writing it out. I was gonna suggest moving it to Grandmaster but then most Warriors would get pigeonholed into 30 Defense. Maybe make it only cure one condition? I dunno, bros. Help me out here.

It sounds like a lot of the skills that had their aftercast removed are having this problem. I’m sure it’ll be fixed sooner than later.

I’m here just to endorse Lord Titan. He’s an A-class baller Warrior who is more than capable of wrecking things in both small-scale and large-scale WvW. He used to be a big-time zerg Warrior but now he specializes in small havoc squads. Try his tanky/deeps Hammer build! It really proves that whole “Warriors need to be 100% offensive or 100% defensive” thing wrong.
He proved me wrong on the air live with it in fact. :P
You know how to play your Warrior.
You don’t know how to play your Guardian yet.
Once you get used to the Guardian you’ll better understand its strengths and weaknesses and why some have the opinion that they’re just a better version of the Warrior.
I don’t think they are in WvW, but sPvP, totally.
I think dual shot’s pretty good right now, especially if you spec into Stronger Bowstrings for 100% chance to do double projectile finishers.
Does anyone know if the bug where Stronger Bowstrings reduces your Dual Shot damage still exists?

That’s not how achievements work.
You want to know why the AoE cap shouldn’t be removed?
Remember how they buffed ACs because ACs are the anti-crowd siege? Well, that would make players walking ACs.
It wouldn’t allow “skilled players to kill zergs” it would just make the DPS capabilities of Zergs exponentially higher.
I legitimately do not understand how this would change anything unless they balanced objectives to be able to be taken by single players.
