Necro and Engi are good 1vsX professions due to their huge amounts of AoE.
If you count mobility then Warrior, Ele, Thief all have great ways of escape.
Warrior > GS > Sword 2 leap, warhorn 4 for perm swiftness (with traits) and high survivability.
Ele > D/D Fire 3, Lightning 4, Lightning flash, FGS

End of the day really depends on how you play the build, and how good your enemies are. I’ve 1v4’d in WvW with my warrior and walked away with a victory by constant kiting/reseting the fight. Best advice for any 1vsX situation would be use the terrain (LoSing), active damage mitigation (dodges, aegis, blinds etc) and try to focus one target at a time.

Nope, they are from ranked Spvp matches so 150wins in Solo Q, or Team Q.

What type of gear are you using? Beserker is the full offensive stat. A lot of the game doesn’t have to deal with armor, but more of knowing your class and timing your dodges. If your just gonna sit there and pew pew the target, Yeh it’ll rush you and cleave you down, if you strafe around the target and dodge when he gets to close you should be fine.

Also 30ppl? You sure there wasn’t a champ involved? Cause I’ve been able to solo that event before without much trouble…

I personally am taking the save and gamble a bit route. I get about 30g a day, and i’ll usually save 20, and spend 10g on flushing. Been at it for a couple days now, and I tend to sell my exotics, and sometimes i make some money back, other times i don’t. I’m not complaining either as i do find it fun knowing each time I COULD net a spark, but on the other hand i’m still saving to buy it. It really is up to you, i personally find saving 1.4k gold a daunting task, so instead of tackling it straight on i just gamble a bit and save at the same time.

Ummmm for those of you suggesting early morning, FYI ET has no early morning/late night crew, the only time we have a strong presence is NA prime, and Ocx Prime….

What timezone? If you in oceanic timezone, i can have my guild cap whatever you need during weekends for you. If you play NA find any of the big guilds and ask nicely if they can cap what you need before reset. Sometimes when were up against heavy number servers theres not much we can do, but when we get a rallynight going we can usually flip most whatever.

ET be ET… altho i personally find it fun when raiding with [TAL] and getting into even number fights with other servers. I have an alt that i moved to high tier server, and the huge zergs kinda made me go meh.

I don’t know… i rack up like 250,000 karma a week just by doing stuff… ._. If its Obby shards that u need, u could consider doing Fotm because u can convert 15 relics for 1obby shard, and u get karma as a bonus. I believe some chests in the dry top map also give obby shards, and PvP reward tracks give some from time to time. Good luck on the legendary, i’d say make sure you have everything else before worrying about obby shards and karma, they really are one of the easier part of legendaries imo.

When they asked me to join i told them i wasn’t coming unless i got a couple high end legendaries out of the deal :^)…. They told me to just stay on my crap server…

I usually stick with 1guild, but i frequently swap around for personal g bank, Teq, ETA, sometimes even guild less when i’m roaming.

That being said been having some great fights, when numbers our equal we can definitely hold our ground.

Sieg i remember >.> You may not remember me, but i remember most key figures from BoM. I remember a lot of key moments where i felt i had fun in WvW with BoM.
All I can say is good luck with dominated matchups, several weeks in a row and lets see how DR’s community stands.

I love it when people cry over map completion. At one point when i started off and was a noob, my server was forever red… It took 5months before we were green..5months for 10POI and 4vistas…

On a side note, you could always befriend your servers commanders. Ask them nicely if they could take the zerg and cap whatever you need. Usually good times are before reset when the match is decided.

I fail to understand the point of this discussion.

The whole point to this is that there’s nothing wrong with current Precursor prices. All Precursors have the same drop rate as other Precursors. One you can buy for 90 Gold, the other you can buy for 1,500 Gold. All the complaints about Anet not “fixing” the market come from people who don’t understand the market.

I call bs. Pretty sure everyone that has had any interaction with you on the forums knows the reason behind this thread. I am quite surprised it is still open considering the forum rules claim it isn’t allowed.

Basically from the 1matchup i had with SoR so far, their prolly t7ish. Meaning they will get dominated, but they can still dominate other servers. As for other servers.. well i’m stuck down in t8 but from what i hear/read it seems BG, JQ are still there and TC pretty much absorbed the “hardcore wvw” guilds from SoR. T2 is basically GvG heaven since most well known/good gvg guilds are in there. T3is ok judging from ppt and t4-t8 has long “dead” periods where theres hardly anyone on, so whoever has the most people during those times wins basically.

Currently in the wvw state of the game basically coverage > skill, idk how its like in upper tiers but in t8 prime time holds some good fights everywhere when numbers are even. Once u get to off hours its the same old crap of numbers = free win.

Hope this is the type of info your looking for, and if someone wants to correct me about the scene in upper tiers feel free.

Does your post hear mean that your “cunning” plan to move servers recruit then move back to ET has failed? Seriously how could people refuse your charm and mapchat abuse?
What ET needs is a night crew back. Until then we will continue to loose just like this week which puts us firmly back into 24th.

That argumentative and defeatist attitude does nothing to sway someone on the fence about returning to their original home.

If you notice its really only one person with the defeatist attitude. He seems bitter for transferring over to ET pre S2 thinking of a bandwagon win, he didn’t get it and he believes it because “ET” hated on the guilds that carried us, which is completely redundant because those guilds caused drama against each other and the remaining tried to hold everyone together while they were still here.

That being said come back <3 every person counts

I did all my hints a longggggg time ago so i don’t remenber for sure. But if you look at the hints and press [B] on your keyboard you will get the pop up for wvw. Choose any map and go into it. (I would suggest EB as thats more friendly to new players). Find a commander/zerg/group and capture an enemy objective. If you look at the top of your screen you should see a countdown timer, when that reaches 0:00 the points for that tick are recorded resulting in score.
Hope this helps, in general if you try to wvw these hints shouldn’t be a problem at all.
