^Arrow carts are sooo OP……. I personally rarely run into PAXA, and the few times I’ve fought some of you, 3 of you just bursted me down as fast as you can while i was fighting one of you that was off by their own. Now I’m not a fan of small groups doing that, because if I kill your friend you can just pick them up afterwards because if I’m roaming, I’m not looking to fight 1v4 so I’ll back off but I do think it shows a lack of class when 5 people gang up on 1 roamer. 5v1 isn’t even remotely a fair fight and for “PvPers” as you claim to be, you shouldn’t be interested in those odds anymore than that 1 roamer is. That’s just my thought, but if you guys are just there to rack up the kills by grouping up and being a tight nit group with synergy, fine play the game you payed for the way you want. That depends on whether you choose to engage really. If you attack 30+ with 5 then that’s on you regardless of the outcome, but 5v1 is different than 25vs5 as I’m sure those 25+ didn’t sneak up on you. How could they unless you were afk?. My post is directed at a small group of 5 attacking one roamer as a group, not at small groups trying to take out big groups. If you disagree thakitten shows a lack of class for 5 to gang up on 1, then that’s your right. It’s a free country where I live, how about you? This nonsense about T1 vs T8 is silly as hell btw, If people were willing to listen, there are plenty of folks here on ET who can teach you how to WvW “like the pros”. Problem is, the few of you who even show up wont bother to listen no matter how many times we explain things. That’s been my experience with this server anyways. Can we talk about something other than PAXA and this higher tiers are better than us garbage this next week?

We don’t care about the score, because Anet has a horrible reward system that offers the same thing for finishing 1st in tier 1 as you get for finishing 3rd in tier8.

FC & ET guys insult their own small man teams when they insult PAXA. there are teams on all 3 of our servers that are very capable of doing these things with 5 or less players, and that go out and do it nearly every day.

i don’t understand why people put PAXA down.

Allow me to explain.

While other teams move about the maps, they are moving from Objective to Objective , IE: Looking to claim or defend Camps, Keeps, Towers, to win or secure points for their side and thus ensure Victory for their server. Fighting and engaging players other players is a secondary concern, or a course hazard if you will.

If these groups overrun or kill a single player, it was a case of wrong place, wrong time for that player, and I’ll admit, I have felt bad about steamrolling some player as they come out of a camp while we are moving towards it to claim it, but none the less, the player was in our path, and thus they were killed. But in the end of things, that was not the groups intent to gank that player, that was not why they went out to fight that day, or why they play WvW. Their goal is to claim points for their side via objective holding and capping.

Then, you have PAXA that goes out just looking to gank players.

We had a guild here on ET, called Agg, (They transferred down to T8) they were a 10 – 15 man guild that would Zerg Hunt, they did what Paxa tries to do. They would go out with their small group and fight zergs 4 to 5 times their size, and win. Now Agg moved up to where they belong again, because T8 was not really a challenge for them, so, if PAXA thinks they are anywhere near efficient of even good because they can gank players on T8.. Ummm.. well..

Spend 10 minutes in PAXA vent. They aren’t out there to “Gank players” They are out there to find other small groups and have competitive fights.

If that was the case they would sPvP, not WvW. Unless they could not handle sPvP. There is always that.

If spvp wasn’t kitten we would consider it.

All I have to say is that PAXA should start attacking human necros last in group fights. I want to run my glassy solo/dueling build but they focus fire me…. how can I run glassy if they are going to focus fire me?

I think everyone would agree that PAXA should target the guardian or mes these are harder to kill, it would make perfect sense to start on them first.

I have decided that this thread is now about how FC, ET, and HoD should just be bestest friends forever because the forum drama is no fun.

I think the first step towards best frienditude is a nice meeting at SM on reset! We should party just above the lords room because it looks nice. We can set up a few platters of food, some communal boost fires and some banner buffs. We can party all night long while everyone who wants to fight can stand outside in the cold.

Hey guys, dueling is as easy as coloring but sneak attacking a few people barely outmanned while running an extremely coordinated group against an uncoordinated group of pugs who had no coordination shows complete skill! Yet PAXA probably remembers that SS guard who ran with the INVI group that killed them a few times over (before they started the necessary shadow refuge heals to saw their asses). Not skilled..

The video wasn’t bragging dumb kitten . Death said they can kill us we found them and beat them(tho this wasn’t any of there good players as stated above)If they can’t pan that’s not our fault. In the video u see me pan a lot. Why? In case someone is coming.

To be honest the video was only made cause they said they would own us. If that was never said the video wouldn’t of been put out.

I’ll mention just 1 I can run around for a half hour and be the only necro out there. That we see on and server lol.

Was fun last night. We got a message saying deth was going to own us in a GvG fight, we found them and here are the results. Found out later they want to run 6 guards vs us tho.

In the end pts mean nothing in this game so go out there and just have fun.

They will never know so I’m not worried. I know ppl that do this but my girl has no interest. And I think they mean sharing outside of the house hold.

Some ppl share there account like a parent and there kid so not always the same person.

I think they should remove the DMG from the wurm and make the wurm stay even after u use it just have it go on cd. If u go x amout of units away it resets. Or even have a trait for this like how sigils still get the use after u use it.

Yep I would rather use poison cloud too if I was a zerger. You just get so much more out of poison cloud and it sits there for 12 sec.

Guard uses Save Yourselves!, so he gets 7 boons. You Corrupt all 7 and spread all 7 with Epidemic to 4 other ppl, u poison yourself with corrupt boon but if you using dagger off hand just use 4 on your target to get it off or use it get more healing on yourself.

Well of corruption 1 boon every sec for only 5 sec which is only 5 boons striped if they stayed in the well. The dark field is nice tho. Yes this is to more then 1 target but no one stays in those for longer then 1 sec and dont go back to that area till the well is gone if they have half a brain

In the end corrupt boon does all boons, well only does 1 every sec for 5 sec and u have to hope the enemies stay in it to get 5 boons off. Corrupt boon is more controlled and the well is more random.

I also think wells are great for 1 on 1 when u can lock them in it. Or in spvp cause it almost takes up the whole circle to help u get caps off cause it forces ppl out.

I see. I agree that Corrupt Boon+Epidemic works pretty well. But if my goal is just general condition removal against a zerg I would prefer Well of Corruption. Overall that Well of Corruption would remove a lot more than 7 conditions.

So lets say u remove 1 RANDOM boon off every person in there and they get out i’ll even give u lets say it hits 12 ppl for 1 boon. So 1 boon off each in the end of the 5 sec, if i lose 1 boon off me out of my 4+ on me, thats not going to scare me, now changing all boons on me to condi scares the hell out of me, and then spreading all of them to 4 allies scares them too.

Well 3 u use when u know the mob is about heal to stop it. Atleast I do that in Wvw on sentrys.

I use 2 for runners and 3 for ppl chasing me or someone trying to stomp my team.

If you are really serious -and I think you are- then you would list which 5man guild is recruiting on each server and what classes/builds they are after.

Otherwise there is no point for single players to transfer on the the possibility of being or not being recruited or starting or not starting their own guild. I’m sorry but that is what solo players transferring expect.

No body wants to start a guild at this point in the game on their own on a new server which is still mostly casual/zerging and expecting to find enough people for a 5man.

Your here so ask if anyone is looking for ppl. We are trying to make this easy for ppl but u will need to put a lil effort in yourself if u solo and need to find a group.

Now I do get that wells at times are better for zerging I guess. I just don’t see how some calls I’m immobilizing and u spread that to 4 other ppl u just locked down 5 ppl. Just a small example. Also all conditions u spread take the necros stats.

Line of sight requirement =>Epidemic is useless is tower defense and tower attacks. It misses too often to be of use.

Skill lag, game lag, popularity of condition removal in WvW=>Picking out that single target with a ton of conditions on him and casting Epidemic on time is difficult. Did I say impossible? Nope. But its just not worth the trouble. You are better off using wells because they work much more consistently.

Well when we do attack a tower which is not much. You put condis on the archer then spread them to the ppl by them, archer dosnt move works all the time. I’m sorry but epidemic isn’t hard to get off. Corrput boon on the other hand fails a lot. Lol. I’m not going on about this no more, as stated above they both have there uses my point was its not pointless in wvw.

I used to run ele as my main. I meet up with paxa, ran with them and we meshed. There was a slight problem, I was the 3rd ele. They asked if I could switch, I did and went necro. So there are ppl looking and if ur willing to change classes then it could turn out for u. Just depends how bad u want to do smaller scale fights. For me it was worth. Even tho now we run with a ele maybe 30% of the time. We went from 3 to pretty much 0 eles lol.

@ chips and epidemic its huge in wvw and very useful. And yes I go to the necro forums, hell even have my own thread and also been asked to do the podcast but just haven’t had the time to do it. But to say epidemic is not good for wvw is just plain silly.

We already have t1 guys transferring to t8 so would be lame of us to move now. Also have more t1 guys looking to move once the t1 guys confirm its a good move or not. From what they said so far they love it.

I get server pride and that’s cool. But has nothing to do with points, so again points mean nothing. U might be the underdog of t3 but if u went down to t4 u will prolly be the top dog due to population. Again I was only talking points and u go on talking about fight clubs. Sorry we don’t set up fights. We want to be taken off guard by another small group we don’t want planned fights or stand in circles. In the end tiers = population, tiers don’t equal skill and points still mean nothing.

Why when my guild shows up (or other 5 mans like us) and chunk off 10-15 of your epic 50 man, do they ALWAYS lose that fight? If our 5 man separates 10-15 of your lemmings/deciples from the “Zerg” why do they lose when forced to open field fight?
