This build has massive critical chance. It means 75-80% crit chance for my phantasms. Also, the might stacks frquently reach 11 stacks. It makes my attack go up to 2400. Add to the massive crit chance and crit damage, I can do around 1600-2000 blurred frenzy instead of the usuall 1K. I think this is a game changer since the opponent would be at low health also. Plus my null field gets rid of his/her boons too. making it harder for him/her to keep stayin alive.

Chaos. I have updated the trait problem you have given unto me. It is much better now. This build with the null field, has both defensive and offensive capabilities. Now it does around 1000k confusion rather often. I thank you Chaos!

I probably have no reason to say this and probably am gonna get bashed for it maybe,
but I dont really think this is that much different than most PU build. I know you tried to get rid of PU to be different and somewhat efficient in other areas, but I just get this vibe that this build will not do so well against builds that do have PU. Again, i might be entirely wrong. Just keep working hard is all Im asking from you!

Give me a kitten reason how I’m being innocent. All of you guyz feedbacks on this build was about it being suckish against conditions. I knew that very well too. I have changed my build in order to better suit this problem. EVERY SINGLE TIME you give me “feedbacks” you add a ton of sarcasm like I am never listening to any of you. I read every single post you guyz have said so far. It is getting very tiring trying to reason with you that you are the only one ignoring your own self. I respond to your criticisms in one way or the other. By updating the build or by responding, but the way you act like you know every single thing about the Mesmer is what kittens me off. The way you talk like I am only acting Innocent is what kittens me off. From this comment I read, I feel that you are some type of bandwagon fan of all the True mesmers in this forum, and that you only are commenting to make yourself look “Cool” to your peers. I would rather have my thoughts spoken out and be an outcast than try to act all cool and be a stuck up noob. Tell me one thing about this class that I do not know. Go on Mr. Know IT all!

OK, for all you too tired to read my latest post above, here’s what I feel happened.

1. I posted my theorycraft build, as I have always done after some testing and reasoning that the build fit the purpose I created it for, which was not to Totally counter conditions. I have stated that it has a Fairly Good chance agaisnt conditions build.
2. You guyz only went on to give me “feedbacks” on how this build sucks against conditions even after you read that it has a Fairly good chance against conditions because of the stealth and damage output. You completely dismissed everything else about this build and went on to unexcusably claim that this build was the worst build ever just cause of the conditions. I saw it as this: you saw me mention something about conditions, saw taht this build lacks some condition removing potential, and went on to be A lot sarcastic in your replys when there was no need for it. Now you are calling those sarcasticness Feedbacks thatt I should take into accounts and are now claiming that I am being ignorant.(I went ahead and tried to go for your feedbacks anyways just cause I felt taht you guyz would feel happier)

3. I had my mouth open when I read your comments and decided that if I let this go on, It would only get worse. So I tried to incorporate reasoning with mild defensiveness on my part to try to stop you guyz from harrasing this build with your only excuses as it having been bad against conditions.

4. All of your next comments were about how I was being Soooooo sarcastic to your so called Feedbacks and never tried to even consider what I felt when I read them. It hurt me pretty bad. Alissah was giving me a chance at new start and I was just giving her credit for it. Then you guyz decided to make that as another excuse to try to get me mad even further. You guyz act like every thing I say is sarcastic when I clearly said that I was trying to turn a new leaf. I have even updated the new build so as to meet all your expectations and my own. You guyz won’t even comment on it and proceeds to insult me further on how I never seemed to accept your so called Feedbacks/Critiques and that I am only acting as the Victim, when you are actually, realistically, forcing me into that position. Ever thought of being in my shoes?

PS: All my posts in this thread was only in reply to your comments, and any defensiveness was used where I felt was needed, which you guyz would have done the same, and it happened only once so far, until you guyz brought everything back up all over again and told everyone to just ignore me.

I remember the my first post that I made. I said that it has a fairly good chance of countering conditions, but everyone just kept using that as an excuse to claim that I made the worst build that can’t deal with conditions. That’s why I had to laugh at how you guyz were turning something I said that doesn’t mean a whole lot to something that is like “the end of the world” type of thing. Most people gave me feedbacks on how awful this build was at dealing with conditions. I know I needed to work some kink on condition handling before I even posted it. I just gave the blueprint and the ideas that i had on this build. But the way the majority of people kept acting like that was the biggest mistake in the world is what got me a bit sarcastic. Think about it. If people criticise your build for something that you can easily fix and were trying to in the first place you would be a bit ticked off. The way they said it to me were like talking to a lab rat hamster or something. Like I never even thought about that problem. And now you guyz are at it again for calling me ignorant and annoying when you guyz just can’t stop hammering me for something that I am well aware of. It’s like you expect me to feel bad about you guyz sarcastically talking to me. I hope I have made myself clear that I was trying to turn a new leaf. I have not abused any rules in this thread and was trying to keep the rest of my time here cool and calm when a certain people just came and bashed me about how I was being ignorant. You know how someone said that they will be scoring based on all the likes and dislikes right? So like this: +9/-4. Let’s say a person got this score right? This basically means that person got like 5 points. And if they made in top three, they get money based on their place and the points they accumulated.

For example:

5 Points

If 1st place: 5 gold
If 2nds place: 5 silver
If 3rd place: 5 copper(Lol)

I think this makes the competition a bit more intense. Just my thought.

you know, condition build is good, especially a build with 2000 condition damage, however, you have no precision, this results in the opponent getting bored of you and just running away, assuming he/she was tank. Now, a distracted opponent will probably try to kill you till he/she dies, but that might not become the case for many people you fight, to get a full fight, you must have descent amount of damage that just pop at your opponents eyes. Well, that is just my opinion.

Gozzo, I have not self bumped once in this post, as I am trying to refrain from. I have not changed this thread’s title, and I use bold letters where I feel is important. I am only apologizing not to annoy you guyz or make you guyz feel better, but cause I genuinely feel that there is sort of a misunderstanding that needs to be cleared up so we can all be friends from now on.

you know, you guyz are 110% right. I might try that idea of one post having everything from my theory craft list. But right now, I would like to improve upon this build I have in preparedness.

Yes, most of my builds look downright funny and ridiculous, but what my way of doing it is, if I get a brilliant idea, I just post it up here after few hours of testing. Then I start to take people’s suggestions and my own suggestions after the testing the build and build myself around that. I am sorry if you think I am not trying to take people’s advices, it’s just that whenever I test, I can’t seem to find some good people to test against and only find them a few hours after the posting, that is why you all think this build is downright ridonculus and not planned out in the beginning. I swear this is true. Again, I’ve got nothing to say. I wish I can find the right people to duel against right away, but that does not come so easily for me. I don’t know why

You know pyros, just because I don’t respond to all those suggestions, doesn’t mean I’m not trying to incorporate them in all my builds. I sincerely actually read all of them. Maybe that’s why people think I am ignorant, because I don’t seem to respond to all their suggestions. It’s because sometimes, their suggestions are so good, that I don’t have time to respond. I just go straight to work on the builds. Anyways, like I said, I am thinking about your suggestions as we speak.

Actually, the updated build I’m working on has everything else you guyz wanted, I just felt like this trait could be of some use, like against Pistol Pistol thief, or knock back Ranger, or some Hard core Condition Engi.

Yes, I worked extensively with this version of the build, but yesterday, after I posted and all, I worked another 3 hours, and during that time, I fought many warriors, and they just destroyed my clones. that annoyed me alotttt. So now I am gonna take into account Pyros and everyone else’s suggestions and build a better build.

Laar, I just want some feedbacks on the build. All I ever want when making some new builds is feedbacks. But that’s what I never do seem to get. I just want feedbacks instead of some kind of Life Lesson in the Mesmer forums. That is what forums are supposed to be about, a place where people can help each other, but do to my lack of adequete words in my early posts to defend myself against harrasers, you guyz are acting like I’m a total bad example that nobody should follow. You know Kaamau, I have actually tested this build for quite some time before even trying to post it up here. This build has good potential man. I just posted a lot of builds lately to try to get other people to post their builds to so we can share feedbacks. I have tried extensively with this build. I am sorta sad that you think I am annoying you, which is not my intention. This build I have right now is my final hope this year. I have lost hope of trying to build other builds after this one because I ran out of ideas. I’m not gonna be messing with other builds for a while except this one. I really hope we can be friends. But the thing is, these days, Pyros don’t even try to listen to all the stuff I say when making this post. I have apologized to him about 3-4 times and he don’t even look at it. Nowadays his just looks at the build creator, finding it’s me, and starts to just say mean stuff without even Trying to accept my apologizes. Only reason he is mad is because when we met to fight that one time in the arena, I asked him about my posts and how he feels about them, and he just went on saying how annoying I was instead of hearing my side of the story, that’s why he thinks he has the reason to still be mad at me even after I apologized.

You guyz crack me up! You guyz talk like Ima just gonna stand there and watch as all the conditions flow to me and I die. I have stated in the first post that this build has a Fairly good chance of handling conditions. Now you guyz are acting like this build is supposed to be some Condition Canceler build or something, which is not its purpose in the first place. I laughed so hard while reading your posts. Here are some things I can do with this build that prevents conditions or stops them.

1.Dodge(Everyone can Dodge!)
2. Stealth(It hides you from your enemies!)
3. Distortion(Don’t get conditions in the First place!)
4. Range( Stay away from your opponents condition range!)
5. Lemon grass soup(-40% cond. uptime on you!) 10 seconds bleed> 6 seconds etc…
6. Kill your enemies by Bursting them down with your build!
7. Aegis also prevents from having conditions in the first place!
8. Sustained Regen is pretty good healing, even if it’s not alot.

These are all the things you can do with this build to not get any conditions. If you still don’t approve, you can just drop the Signet of Inspiration and go for Arcane Thievery and switch the Illusionary Defense trait for the Master of Manipulation trait. I only went for the Inspiration Signet for the Extra Aegis it could give me, also the swiftness. Then problemo Solved!!!!

As for Pyros. I was ok with other people’s comments, even Hexxen’s, because I could explain to them in the end, but you on the other hand, made it clear to me that you don’t want to be friends with me even after I PMed you and asked in my other posts that I was sorry. You act like all my posts are directed to yourself only. You are starting to get really selfish. That comment you made was the last straw. Reported.

What has it Become???
This build has become a Shatter/Phantasm Hybrid spec with the ability to stealth on demand.

What the Heck does the stealth provide?
It provides around 20 seconds of protection and 40 if lucky, it also grants 20 seconds of regen if you are fortunate. Also gives constant Aegis*

Why Staff??
It gives me around 10 seconds of swiftness if successful, constant flow of Aegis, and AOE Damage against many people.

How much Might stacks can I get???
Staff auto attack gives me 7 seconds of might. This also applies to the clones when their autoattacks bounce right back at me. Weapon swap gives me around 35 duration of 3Might stacks. Most often you can gain 8-10 might stacks, which is
200-250 power and condition boost.

How does it fair against condition builds?
It has been upgraded to -50% condition uptime on YOU

What’s up with the empty utility skill slot??
I have given you a choice. If you are comfortable with the -50% condition duration uptime, go with Blink, but if you still feel unsure, go with Arcane Thievery. In group roam, however, I suggest you go with the Signet of Inspiration.

Why go with the Mirror heal skill? One that gives only 3900 healing?
It gives 2 seconds of reflection. It is the difference between Life and Death against few Rangers, Engis, and Pistol/Pistol thieves. Also the sustained Regen and Stealth provides many defensive capabilities that go well with this heal skill.

Good build you got there man, I really think it is pretty good. But if you didn’t say that I can kill everyone with my build, it would have been a bit better. Yes, most any mesmer builds can kill anyone if played right. That’s what I was emphasizing on. Apparently about 99% of the population thought I literally meant what I said and went on to make fun of me. Whatever. That is their own problem, not mine. Anyways, pretty good build. I don’t get how you can say that people should just report me. I am only typing because to reply your comments, and to let you guyz know I have updated some builds. EDit: This is to Jportell. The main purpose of stealth is to be able to heal safely and to throw your oponnent off on your position. If the PU trait comes with some extra protection buff, then great, that is a plus, but it doesn’t suddenly make that a must. So what I am saying is, a PU build always doesn’t need to have 4-5 stealth options just so you can abuse the stealth mechanism. If you can manage it well, having 2 stealth will be of same importance of having 4 stealths. This is just my opinion now Jportell, hope you realize this. The latest comments you made to me I felt a tinge of sarcasm comin my way. Hope you put an end to it.

Like I said, you want extra stealth skill, you got it. IN a bit I will change the build to make it have that extra skill.

Edit: Reason I went condition runes. Perplexity runes are very op. I would much rather have the Perplexity then some boon duration thing.

Jportell, my healing comes from the mantras mainly, the Regen is sustained healing use only. And not many PU condition builds need to have a perma Protection. I just realized that today. You feel taht I am making a big mistake on my part, but look at all other PU builds out there, they don’t even have extra boon duration runes. I don’t get why you pointing your finger at me on this. Also, you act like having 2 stealths is some kind of crime. It only means I can maximize those 2 stealths with the PU trait and have other good Utility skills in place for the missing stealth skills. I don’t know why these dayz people try to go with what everyone else is doin. If something is unique and it works, go with that too! in this situation, the Aegis, Regen, and Protection from my staff gladly makes up for me missing One Extra Stealth Skill

Edit: I am gonna reedit the build so you can have one extra stealth skill. Hope it appeals to alot of you now.

First hexxen, I never actually downright said other PU builds were bad, I just gave my opinion on the ones out there, I do not think there is a rule not to do that. If I literally went and said they suck, then you can criticise me all you want. Second of all, when I said Extra healing when activating that is exactly what I meant. I didn’t mean activating as using the 2 healings provided, I meant activation as actually clicking the skill and let it take the 2 seconds to get prepared. I know my stuff Hexxen.

What kinds of builds you gonna contest? i mean, you can’t compare a WvW solo to WvW group build, also you can’t compare a WvW build to a PVE build, and you can’t compare a PvE build to a PVP build. So i hope you guyz have a plan for this or somthing I don’t know.

Hey guyz, I have updated all possible combinations for my build, and in combination I mean situations. So far, there are WvW(Solo&Support) PvP(Solo&Support). I chose to have scepter as support for WvW, while I chose to have sword for support in PVP. Reason is because, in PVP, there is lesser space to move around, so melee weapons are essential. I really have not much love for PVE, so I am trying not to put it up here. I realized one thing over my testing experiences. Perma Protection is really not necessary for a PU build, because all that stealth and armor makes up for not having perma protection. This is my personal opinion, and if you get lucky, your stealths might just give you over 20 seconds of protection with only 30 points in chaos, and with no additional boon duration runes

WvW solo: Perplexity runes
WvW support: same runes as link
PVP solo: Undead runes
PVP support: Undead runes

WvW solo purpose: Roaming 1 vs 1+
WvW Support purpose: Small group/Zerg roaming
PvP solo purpose: Killing enemy NPC monters, Trebs, and taking on people by yourself. Best maximized if it is constant roaming, no holding caps
PVP support purpose: Good ally revive. Awesome boons and boon spread. good condition damage. Best for capping or roaming with more than one person.

I did some massive testing you know, I dont really get why you think I just throw this build up. Edit: I want to have a good amount of protection, but still love the Perplexxity Runes, I also want a bit of poison in my arsenal. What should I go with? I personally would think of using Perplexity just because it is OP, and perma protection is really not neccessary unless in group fights, and poison for 7 seconds with food buffs seem ok too. What should I do???

I have updated the Hidden Plague solo roam build. It is designed so that you won’t have to try to switch to the group version of the build so often. You can carry the solo roam build straight into a group battle with minor adjustments. It is very effective now in condition removal and healing. Hope you guyz enjoy it.

Guys, plz take a look at my updated WvW Solo&Group fight builds for the PU condition mesmer. I need all the help I can get on this build. I am wondering if perplexity runes are worth it. Im trying to keep up the protection duration and poison duration for more effectiveness in combat. I dont know. Plz comment on this.

I have updated the builds. The solo roam build is more than enough to be able to trigger fights. The group build has good allies heal and Long boon durations to spread to group. Since this group build lacks the Veil skill for more protection on stealth, what I like to do is spam all of my stealths, gain as much protection as possible, apply chaos storm on a part of an enemy zerg where I take decent damage, put on chaos storm and chaos armor, and watch as all the boons flow to me. Then I decide to spread all the boons that I have accumulated.

you know, I thought that this build will need a little less changes, but I thought wrong. Coulter here graciously shed light onto me that this build will not be able to trigger a fight with the staff, well, that is what I have come to understand very well. I thank you Coulter personally. I will put up the updated build soon. One will be for solo roam, and other for small group or zerg. Hope you guyz like it.

I think that the Signet of Midnight is sorta useless you know, and trading it for Signet of Illusions won’t work out that well because you are not Shatter spec. Signet of Domination is only good for one use. Sure the 3 sec stun is great, but I just think that people can just break stun and run out of that hole. So if you were to get rid of those 2 signets, I don’t think other signets will be viable and thus it will not become a Signet build cause it only has one signet. I dont know. Dont take my words to heart you know. Peace…

I have updated the build in my very first post. It is better. It has lower overall boon duration, but it doesn’t really matter much because the boons I’m focusing on are
Protection and Regeneration, which can still be applied permanently with lower overall boon duration. I recommend the Signet of Inspiration because of the good Aegis, Swiftness, Regeneration, and Protection it provides. Because you have good stealth, it is sorta hard for enemies to put condition on you. Also the sustained Regeneration is enough in my experiences to put out conditions and be very useful in the long term. I would accept any suggestions. Plz comment regularly about anythin. Peace….

@Inoence. A PU Mesmer COndition build is so op right now Inoence. I am sure taht you know how OP these type of builds are. You act like this healing does nothing in general, however, since all PU builds have good stealth, the 160 heal per second is maximized. Reason I said this build can kill anyone is because it has constant output of condition, just like any other PU Condition build. I was just thinking of using

Hmm, yes. I can just apply poison to those bunkers. I already had that sigil in PVP, but I didnt no if I should use it in WvW. Thank you for your help Chaos. I shall keep the staff.
