Guild Wars 2

I have a level 80 ele,warrior,thief,mesmer and of course my engi. All of my characters are in full exotic zerker with the “meta” builds. I have the option of switching.. I just refuse to because I’m tired of only running 4 classes because others aren’t exactly educated. Also there are people that don’t understand why groups use warriors,mesmers,ele,thieves,guards…they just go with the flow and if those people say that engis suck then they will go along with it without even playing engi or understanding the class because it’s not easy mode hit 2 GG.

I have been looking for a guild that is a semi-speed run guild but will allow engis.. I don’t want a casual guild that doesn’t know what they are doing. I want a guild that can teach me all the dungeons.
I have been in SPvP since release and am experienced in almost all the easy mode dungeons like CoF and AC and CoE.. but I haven’t done much of the others.. I posted in almost every dungeon map and said I wanted a guild. People would even laugh and say engis don’t do dmg. Well I know what my class can do and it’s a little frustrating when people won’t even consider it because it’s not part of the “elitist” groups. An Engi is superior in almost every aspect it seems. Their dps is pretty freaking great.. considering my bombs hit 7-8k+ and the auto attack is really fast. They can heal, they can stealth, they can pull, they can stack might, I just don’t get why people don’t want us in teams. Sorry I had to vent.. I’m tired of getting kicked as soon as I join a pug(I Wouldn’t join a pug btw if I had a guild that did fractals/dungeons with an engi)

Hello everyone,

My name is Tyler and I am currently seeking a dungeon and fractals only guild as the title says. I have been in PvP since release and am looking to get into PvE. I have done every dungeon with the exception of Arah… as far as fractals go, I’m not too familiar with them but I am looking to get very into these things. I am looking for a guild that is EXTREMELY experienced with these things, I don’t want an elitist speed run guild but I do expect everyone to be running zerker(I hate saying that.. but if it gets it done faster then w/e) and can teach me the things that I don’t already know. I tried running with a speed run team and I didn’t like the experience as a whole. I want a guild that is very active on some form of VOIP, If I’m running a dungeon with you I expect everyone to be on VOIP and have a microphone. I tend to play late at night(8pm-2-3am) I will only run my engineer so if you have a problem with that then don’t message me. I wouldn’t mind a guild that has a really experienced engineer to show me everything there is to know about PvE engineers. Engineers are useful in all aspects of the game. PvP they excel, WvW they excel, Dungeons they can hit like a truck if spec’d correctly. Engineer is my main and I would say continue to use your engineer. People who say engis dps sucks or kick them because engis are bad, etc… they are ignorant and only want to run with what they KNOW is good. The reason alot of people don’t want engis is because they are one of the least played classes in the game and alot of people don’t even understand them.

Yeah I saw DD’s post on the forums and that’s the kind of atmosphere I want to get into but I’m not too sure it’s what I want to JUMP into if that makes any sense. I mean I have all the stacks of potions etc.. but I still haven’t even done every dungeon path. Like I said… I’ve been in TPvP since release and really really want to get out of this hell hole lol… TPvP is just full of a bunch of mean people and wouldn’t mind taking a break from that.

Still no biters for some reason. You would think people speed run through dungeons.

Hello everyone! My name is Tyler and I am currently looking for an extremely experienced PvE Guild! I am looking for a guild that are kind of elitists but have a little patience for someone fairly new to PvE. I am currently on the track towards my first legendary and since TPvP is the the worst way to work towards a legendary I’m looking to just PvE since it’s way faster. I know Thieves have a role in speed clears or at least from the videos I’ve seen so that is the Class I prefer to play since it is my PvP main. I am not going to WvW until I get a new computer so I’m not going to join a guild that does WvW. I also don’t want an extremely big guild.. I want to get to know everyone and establish a bond with a few people. I also don’t want to play with super old people. I seriously want a guild that only does dungeons/fractals and will help teach me everything I need to know (ex: Stand here and use these weapons, this boss does “etc” so watch out for “etc”.) I am wanting to atleast get 20g a day so I will be active with the guild as far as doing dungeons. Do not ask me to rep 100% or I will leave I have a PvP team and I rep that guild when I PvP. Anyways below is some info about me…sorry for making such a long post but I’m dead serious about getting into some high lvl PvE/Fractals play. Anyways send me a message guys!

Me and my buddy are looking for 2-3 more people for a semi-serious TPvP group. We aren’t elitists, we don’t exactly “Rage”, we love to have fun and laugh which is important I think in a TPvP atmosphere. Lately we have ran with a different team every single night and have yet to run with the same people more than twice and it’s getting a little old.

Here are some facts about me: r80
Champion Legionnaire – 400wins
Champion Illusionist – 250 wins
Champion Genius – 400wins
Champion Shadow – 400wins
And over 1,500 total tournaments won. My highest Leaderboard Placement(not like is matters) was around 160.

My friend who typically runs bunker ele on our team just hit r80 and is very proficient at it. We both can be very helpful and wouldn’t mind running with people that know what they are doing. We aren’t elitists like I said and we don’t want to run with people that yell and scream and bring down the team morale. We are currently looking for a Bunker Guardian(if not then my friend will ele bunker)
Hambow(or some variant )
Thief or Necro/Engi ( I can switch in between these if I must)

The only requirements are:
Be r65+
Have atleast 1 champion title
Have Ts3 AND A WORKING MIC AND YOU HAVE TO TALK
Be able to play late, very late.
We tend to start around 11pm central time and we will play till 2-4am. (Hopefully having our first team q with whoever replies on Tuesday(5/4) at 11pm central.

Thanks for the reply guys. I didn’t know I could replace a motherboard.. I’ve been told to just buy another computer. If I can just replace the motherboard and the cpu that sounds way better than just buying a whole new gaming Pc. I mean I guess I have to just trust yall to say that my graphics card is fine and my ram is fine. I bought new ram, graphics card and the power supply right before gw2 game out. It’s just these loading screens are getting ridiculous.

Hello everyone! My name is Tyler and my computer has been getting worse and worse and now that this megaserver is out I’m having 1-2 minute loading screens. It’s not my internet so that’s not the problem. I am completely dumb when it comes to computers so when you reply please just trying to dumb it down as much as you can. I have already put some money into this PC and everyone keeps giving me to same answer which is that I need a new processor and so I ask if I can just buy a processor and they say as long as your motherboard supports it and blah blah. They might as well talk like the adults off of Charlie Brown because idk wtf they are saying. Here is my computer info:

Processor: AMD Athlon™ II X2 250 Processor 3.00GHz

Ram: 8 GB

64-bit operating system(idk wtf this means)

Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 560 Ti < I bought that and I also bought a new power supply.

So if anyone can shed some light on what I need to do.. whether it’s even worth updating this computer or if I should buy/build a new one(about a $600-$700 budget)
If you are going to tell me to build one please include every little possible detail I need to do so. My goal is to have a computer that can run Max Graphics with as little lag as possible with that budget. I don’t really WvW because of the amount of lag(it’s a slideshow on lowest graphics) and wouldn’t mind getting into it. I can’t even change characters before a TPvP match because I will get in late due to the long kitten loading screens. TY for reading this really long post! I really appreciate any help.

Hey guys, I’ve been in SPvP since release and I’m not even familiar with rangers in PvP let alone PvE. I’ve heard they are one of the most useless classes in PvE but I find that hard to believe. I’ve come across some of these “Bearbow” rangers in PvP and they hit like a truck.
My friend who is PvE smart was telling me the other day that Rangers are in the top 4 as far as DPS goes. How well are rangers at DPS in PvE? I’ve tried to watch some youtube videos but can’t really find exactly what I’m looking for. Someone said that most rangers dps comes from Sword Auto-attack. I really want to play ranger but I don’t want to play a class that no1 wants in a team. Can someone shed some light on this subject please and thank you!

Yeah I was a little angry that the PvE heroes got to use legendaries in PvP first. I’ve been wanting a PvP legendary since release and I believe us Tpvp people should be the first ones in PvP with a legendary.. makes sense. That PvPers have the better looking weapons.

On the wiki it said the Balthazar Track ( the non-repeatable one ) is the track where I will be getting all my obsidian shards and etc for a legendary. Well they said you will be able to get everything I need from PvP to make a legendary, minus Gift Of Battle and Map Completion. So.. since the track in non-repeatable, what happens if I want more than one legendary from PvP since it is all I have ever done.

Yes thank you for asking this because I’m not wasting tomes on a level 2 character I have used for the past 2 months in PvP. I don’t wanna level up a guardian in PvE when I can use the tomes on another character. As of right now because the armorsmith sales stuff based on level.. I can’t even get a helm because I need to be lvl 10.

I have quite a few bought skins that have been converted to PvP. I’m also considering buying a few tormented for PvP. So after the update, I will be able to use them as much as I want in PvE and PvP?

Hello everyone, I just made an Elementalist yesterday and it’s already level 80 with full zerker gear and trinkets. I have no clue how to play ele as far as what builds to run for what dungeons or traits. I really like staff but I am not opposed to using other weapon sets. Can anyone give me a link or a guide to what to use for each dungeon,etc. Or what weapon set is considered the best atm? Like I don’t want to get kicked from a team if they see me using “x weapon” or not blasting “x field” at “x time.” If anyone understands what I’m asking for , please feel free to reply or message me in game. BTW I’m coming from Engineer.

Wow guys I didn’t expect such detailed replies. Thanks so much. I sadly have already bought full dire with rabid trinkets(2 ascended) and my engi hit 80 like 2 days ago. But I can use that for WvW If I decide to step into that crazy place. Yeah I really love playing engi in TPvP because they really excel and I will try this full zerker thing even though It’s sad that it’s apparently the only thing viable in PvE.

I know how good engineers are in TPvP due to the fact that I main one in TPvP. I am completely PvE stupid. I’ve heard conditions are a joke in PvE and everyone runs zerker. How good are condition engis in PvE? Will I get kicked from Dungeon Groups, or Fractals, etc for running a condition build? I don’t plan on running dual pistols cause I want the shield blast finisher. I’ve heard people say they will accept ONLY: Ele, Guard, Warrior, and Mesmer. Like I have been told that I will not be able to play with them If i play an engi whether its zerker nades or condi nades. So can anyone shed some light on this subject?

Well thanks for these quick replies. As far as weapon sets go. I keep seeing a ton of thieves with Bolt + Incinerator, so I’m assuming S/D is one of the best? Also GEAR! I’m a PvP nerd so zerker thieves is about all I know. I’m assuming zerker isn’t good in Fractals from what I am told. Anyone care to link a build/gear I should be using? Or go into detail what kind of gear I should use for each specific aspect of PvE ( including WvW ) Much appreciated.

I come from the tPvP aspect of this game. I have 3 level 80s though(Warrior, Necro, Thief) I love my thief in PvP but as far as PvE goes, what do Thieves have to offer to teams? Blast Finishers? If that’s the only thing then I do not want to main a class in PvE for Blast Finishers. I know Thieves do quite a bit of dmg but aren’t they out-dps’d by Warriors, Mesmers, Eles? These are serious questions that I do not know the answers to. Btw my 80s where crafted to 80 from lvl 1. I’ve been playing game since release so I’m not a new person to the game asking questions, just a new person to PvE.

I like Engineer due to the fact that when played well they are one of the best things to have in your party in all aspects of the game. They have so much to offer, whether it be healing the team with water fields and blast finishers, stacking vulnerability, they are tied with ranger as far as combo fields go but the engineer has the advantage of blasting those combo fields for team wide benefits. IMO Rangers are boring, with an Engi you are constantly switching kits, blast finishing, clearing condis(if traited) or with med kit, there is just so much an Engi has to offer. I say give it a try, no one can tell you what class to play but we sure as heck can guide you in the right direction which would be Engineer. Also I come from the TPvP aspect of the game and I can tell you right now, that a good Engineer on the the opposing team is probably one of the most annoying things in the world.

I want a guild that is laid back and wants to establish a friendship like the ones I had from Guild Wars 1. I typically play late at night around 9pm(Central)-whenever I get off. I have Champion Shadow, Illusionist, and Legionnaire. Thief is the class I prefer to play as. I have TS3, Ventrillo, Raidcall, Mumble, Skype. I want a guild that is active on these VOIP because I feel it helps you get to know each other better.

p.s. I am 20 years old and would prefer to keep it at about 18+ because I seriously do not put up with 13 year olds saying kitten every 2 seconds. (I am gay.) Yeah ever since new patch… My character would freeze..and then I was dead. I have a 350$ graphics card, so I know that isn’t the problem. I have never had this much lag on GW EVER! I am also not computer smart.. So I’m trying what you did (re DL guildwars) and I also downloaded latest driver for my graphics card and I’m hoping that works or else I’m done with GW for a while.

Hello, My name is Tyler. I am sadly only rank 25. My main PvP profession is Warrior, PvE is Guardian. I’m looking for a tPvP guild paid and free, not an SPvP or WvW(I don’t count that as PvP) I am 19 years old. Central Time zone. I am mostly on at night time on the weekdays(College) and all the time on weekends unless I am busy XD.
